Between 2014 and 2016 I was never been able to login to Cryptsy, I'm pretty sure I have about .25BTC there (and wasn't worth anything then) but was never able to login to retrieve it.

My account would always be locked, and I had to go through support verification to get it unlocked; the new password given never worked and automatically locked me out again. I just gave up...

Without knowing the actual balance and (thus) if I qualified for claim, I missed the window.

well, since I dont have an account on law.com i cant see the article... but if this is about Vern, its worthless.

1) The court cannot force vern to do anything, as he has fled the jurisdiction of the court, and to a country that wont extradite him.
2) The court cannot order something to magically happen. The coins are locked in a wallet, and there is no way to get them out without the keys.

So while the judge says ok they must be returned, there is absolutely no way to enforce the order... therefore, it was a waste of paper to print the order.

That was fun... thanks for playing

Maybe if we ask nicely?

Vern, if you'd be so kind as to return my 1.5BTC to 19UystiZqP5JK8x7r99y7t1AvXwtkuQGQd I'd be very grateful.

cheers, Harrierx.

I prefer the other plan

If it was legal (but that is flexible) and I come across him or any associates mentioned, I would slice them up real good first, rip their head off, shit down their neck and kick their head all the way down the road, laughing manically.

Yesss finally received my settlement payment by post
About 65 dollars for each bitcoin taken by cryptsy  🤣

Well that's it i guess...

I have learned my lesson; never trust or use a centralized cryptocoin exchange ever again!

I also don't understand, they indicated in their FAQ that for the settlement payment would use the price at 01 nov 2015. The price was at that day $250
You should have received at least 6x $250 = $1500.
Not sure how it works with the taxes?

No one will receive back what they lost. The receivers got back less than $2 Million AFAIK and approved claimants get a percentage of that, Less 30% to the Lawyers.

It was Never about getting your coins or their Value back.

I find it a bit incredible that people still don't know this.

I am from europe.
You don't get an e-mail, but a letter per regular mail.
I have to find out how to cash out. You must do that within 180 days.
