After another win in Tel Aviv, the score is now 19-2 for Novak, with Čilić winning only 8 sets in 21 matches. If we take out the 4 sets that he won in his 2 wins, he took only 4 sets in 19 losses.

Marin Cilic really is supposed to lose this match. Even before the match, I did not think he had any chance against Novak Đjoković. His record against Novak Đjoković has been really poor from the start. For some reason when I saw him play against Marin Cilic, it felt like this is almost an unfair match. Cilic was showing some resistance at the start but Novak Đjoković was just a tad too strong for him. And watching the last match it feels like Novak Đjoković has improved his backhand game.

I think Djokivic has big things planned for next year after a crazy 2022. This year has been
so messed up for him through no fault of his own or maybe because of his decisions
but he will be back with a vengeance.

Cilic had some good results this year surprising a lot of us but against Djokovic there is a
massive gap.

Stan Wawrinka lost today against Mannarino two sets to one after winning the first one 6-1, I think the age factor is showing, It is a matter of time he retires, even when he was at his top of his career his cardio was not really impressive, now Grand Slams would be a real challenge for him, if he gets to play in some of them he will be eliminated in the first rounds.

These days many matches ends up with unexpected results. In the match between Wawrinka and Mannarino, it is Wawrinka to win the match. Even the first set confirmed it,but Mannarino made a big comeback winning the second and third sets. As said age factor really matters and very few were able to stay high amidst their age.

If Wimbledon counted he would be in the top 5 but still missing 2 grand slams and playing so little tournament he is in a good ranking. If they allow him to play in 2023 he will win it all for sure.

Bautista agut even at 34 years old still beating world class players this time he beated aliassime with a 2 0 score in the astana tournament, it was a surprising result since aliassime was having a decent performance he even beaten djokovic in the laver cup, if agut continue to show this performance i expect him to go far in the competition.

Yes agree on the points of talent and styles. Part of being a top player is knowing how to adapt
to the run of play and what to do to counter your opponents play.

I looked at the Tokyo tournament and I'm the same, very different time zone. I had a bet on
Ruud against Jayme but he lost in 2 sets.

Kyrgios is playing shortly, probably last match of the day, I have a small -5 handicap on him

Furthermore while her marriage was kinda controversial, but I don’t think it was the reason for her downfall rather I believe that it was her over confidence which never really allowed her to recover the heights that she had previously touched.

In the subcontinent, it doesn't matter if it's India, Bangladesh, In Pakistan or any other country, the carrier of a female is greatly affected after the marriage, irrespective of the country in which the female resides. As a matter of fact, I do not believe that her marriage was the main cause of her downfall. However, I think that was one of the reasons.

Furthermore, I also believe that she was a bit too overconfident in her abilities, which actually ended up hurting her in the long run. As I recall, the Indian media really praised her before she got married. There was a lot of controversy surrounding the marriage, and the praise had gone down. In addition, India is a country that has a greater emphasis on cricket than any other. If there is an athlete, especially a female athlete, then at least she has a genuine interest in cricket now.

Bad news for Jannik Sinner. The Italian player has not played today against Otte, due an injury of his ankle. Probably he will not play on ATP next gen and for sure he will not available on Florence tournament.

That was an unexpected defeat for Alcaraz against the Belgian Goffin. Yet this is not a normal player. He has fallen far in the world rankings, but he used to be a regular top 10 player and you can still see that in certain matches. Alcaraz will be disappointed that he is already out, but in principle Gravel is also the foundation of the Spaniard. It was all the more clever that he recently won the US open. I wonder how long it will be before Nadal also quits Federer. It would be a nice gesture to Federer if Nadal would also stop playing tennis this year. But maybe Nadal is still too good to quit, and too young.

I'm glad I wasn't following the tournament in Kazakhstan, I would have certainly made
a bet on Alcaraz and I had a bet on Ruud at the Tokyo tournament. Very disappointing
from those two.

Alcaraz is just a kid but even at this young age, he is already on top of the world. So sometimes it is understandable if he becomes a touch overconfident. And it is also understandable if he lost his focus because he achieved so much in such a short time.

It does not appear that he has any problems or injuries. But he should be thoroughly checked. But in my opinion, it was just a lapse in concentration. Maybe he cannot cope with the pressure of being at the top and maintaining his position. I think we should cut him some slack because he is just a young kid. He will learn how to handle pressure and how to approach future matches when he is older.
