As said the age factor surely have its role. Though the older ones were well experienced than the young one's, it is hard for them to make shots precisely as that of the young players does. Finally more young players are coming out and the competence over the falling tournaments will be high. Medvedev managed to do good, but unexpected errors stopped him from winning the trophy. Finally Diriyah Cup have given exposure to Saudi Arabia players.

And yes, Fritz won the final in 2 tie breaks, good call Joca97. In fairness to Fritz, he
has been performing well in the second half of the season and Medvedev has been ~so so~.

I also agree that Wawrinka he’s not going to win titles because as far as they go in the tournament, the competition is going to be much more better for them. At this age, it is hard for players like him and Murray to keep up with that competition. You are right @safari88 and I think that even though Alcaraz is number one right now, he might not be able to win the next Australian Open. And she simply has been a little too inconsistent in recent times despite being the number one player in tennis. I really wish that Novak Djokovic could play in the last edition.
