Cancer is really bad and fighting against it is really great. Being a sportsman, it helps them have the positive mind. Yes I remember watching Martina playing as far back as the 80's and even up to last year
she was a commentator and pundit on Amazon Prime. She is Tennis royalty and it's very
sad to hear she has cancer.

This is truly fortunate news I believe that she was diagnosed at a quite early age of her cancer. I think the treatment of the proper kind is going to be able to cure her. But the problem is, she’s going to face a lot of difficulties going forward. After all, it is cancer. And it is going to leave a mark on her body. And another thing is it will probably take a little time to cure, but I believe it is still a very early stage of cancer. So it is curable by proper treatment.

That is usual stuff when Grand Slams are played. There is 128 players in Grand Slam main draw and I believe another 64 or something like that in qualifications. All those players would like to get match feel before the main tournament starts and Australia is so far away that all tournaments have to be there, nobody takes that long flights just before the matches.

Yep you are right in that but it is also a bit depends where they are flying from. For most players from Europe, the timezone is a lot earlier ( +9 or more) and that is really difficult to adapt to and takes some days. Flying "back" in time is easier for the body to get used to (at least that is how I experience it).

And training will only benefit a player so much but it's actual competitive game time
which offers players so much more in feedback, skills, tactics and brain training.
I couldn't imagine any player rocking up to play the AO straight from the training court
and having played the last competitive match 2 months prior.

him, I'm a bit shocked with the result. So the upcoming quarter final match against Shapo,

Djokovic will win this for sure. But if Shapovalov dosent serve well i think it will be a straight set win for Djokovic. I think it might even go under games in this match. Maybe 6-3 6-2 for Djokovic,he looks really good so far in the tournament

The masters are scheduled in a few weeks / months, but America has a strict entry ban due to the increased number of corona infections during this time. And Djokovic is not vaccinated, and also refuses to be vaccinated. I don't think he gets much support from his stubborn attitude. 20.5 should be good, I do not see Djokovic pushing a lot, just like today, he make it when needed, and play as on trainings

and it is good for self-confidence, winning two tie-breaks, instead of winning comfortable 6:2 or something, where you hardly have a chance to stretch, and he is confident that when needed, he will stretch enough to pick-up a win in the end
