As expected, we all know he will stay but just trying to maximize his salary and he was successful in doing that. per report, his salary last season was 39.3 million USD, https://www.spotrac.com/nba/los-angeles-clippers/kawhi-leonard-8066/now his salary will be at least $44 million per year. That's huge.

That's a big contract! According to reports from Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports, the fourth year would be activated via player option. With this choice, Leonard returns to the roster of coach Lue with the aim of fighting for the NBA title once again. First, however, there is the need to overcome the serious knee problem he suffered during the last Playoffs, for which he risks missing part of next season, if not all of it.

Here's his biggest contract, https://www.bosshunting.com.au/sport/nba/steph-curry-contract-extension/**All $$$ in USD
$215 million – four years $53.75 million – per season $655,488 – per game $13,656 – per minute of NBA game Damn... $13,656 per minute? How about that?

Maybe they really need to hire him as Harris their 3 point sharpshooter was not sharp during the playoffs.
Since 3 point shooting is the game now in the NBA, they need to also improve their 3 point shooting, I know the Nets are already good 3 point shooting but they need some consistency especially in a high intense game like the playoffs where defense is very tight.
Good point and that might be the reason for seeking him as a development coach. Durant might not need it but if they want to be as a big of a threat they need to get more options for outside shooting like Harris. He was good at season but went down at the playoffs and I think he was also rattled by the pressure. Yes, good news indeed. NBA needs some balance, we don't want all the stars gathering in just one team. I saw a lot of rumors before he signed with the Clippers again that he was going to GSW in exchange for Wiseman and Wiggins. I have to start unfollowing those pages, not helping for an accurate analysis.

Good news indeed for the Clippers fans, they almost made in last playoff if not for Leonard getting injured in a crucial time. Hopefully he can recovered first, get 100% healed and then come back strong next season with PG13. I think they did load management for him last season, but unfortunately, we really can't predict what will happen to the players because they play hard every game.

Korver is a good backup for Harris, if Harris will struggle again, he can of course help because he also has a lot of playoffs experience already. What I'm seeing is that the nets are really competing with the Lakers in getting veterans at a minimum salary, of course, this also gives an opportunity to the veterans to have their championship in their career.
The Nets will sign Korver, not as part of the roster, but as a player development assistant coach. Try to refer to the discussion above. But even for let's say he signed as a player, there's no such thing as a competition between teams signing veterans. That's weird. The Nets have hired ex-NBA sharpshooter Kyle Korver as a player development assistant coach.Maybe they really need to hire him as Harris their 3 point sharpshooter was not sharp during the playoffs. Since 3 point shooting is the game now in the NBA, they need to also improve their 3 point shooting, I know the Nets are already good 3 point shooting but they need some consistency especially in a high intense game like the playoffs where defense is very tight. Is this Harris first playoff appearance though? I'm asking maybe he is also affected by the gitters of having his first playoffs that's why he was inconsistent with the game against the Bucks. So adding Korver as a development coach is good indeed for the Nets. Harris though is already a good percentage 3 point shooter, maybe what Korver can bring is to prepare him coming from screen. Or Korver can help the rest of the team in free throws as he also have a good free three shooting during his prime.

Paul George is more matured now, so the Clippers are getting stronger every season. The next stop will be the NBA Finals, and although the West especially the Lakers are full of talents, I think the Clippers still have a huge chance though. All we wish as a fan is just to see that our favorite players re healthy so the playoffs will be exciting to watch, last playoffs it's not that much.

So that's where Korver can teach him as development coach, and partake all the experience he has with Harris to be steady and constant specially on the roads during playoffs.

If I'm not mistaken, Korver is a great defender too, so he can also teach some tricks on how a shooter will defend at the same time. This is a good development for the Nets, they really are serious about improving their players and they've seen other teams are a big threat to their campaign. This coming season could be their last chance, if they will not win a championship, then people will conclude that the big 3 is not effective.

A big problem with shooters is when their hands are shaking during a tight game. I think he could give him tips on how he could control those emotions first. I mean, Harris is a sharpshooter already and he knows that, the stat sheets show it too. It's just that time against the Bucks that I saw him out of place or out of order. Just a bit of shake in that shooting position will mess up everything. The Nets did a pretty good job putting Korver in their team management with his history of unorthodox shots. What upgrade do you think will be given to Harris? Quick-release?

When Kawhi got injured in the playoffs against the Jazz, they defeated the top seeded Jazz with the help of PG13 and other players. I think that with Kawhi, they are still considered one of the top teams in the West. Lets also take note that they also have a very good coach in Ty Lue. It might be a long time ago but we can't take the fact that he is the coach of the Cavaliers who won in NBA Finals against the 73-9 Warriors with a 1-3 deficit in the first 4 games. That shows how good he is in handling players. Load management really helped Kawhi but I just hope that with this Load management, it will help him not to get injured into the post-season again.

The only problem is on the playoffs, just like the case of James Harden, he was only injured in the regular season but he has to rest for many months in order to recover but comes playoffs time, Irving got injured so he has to come back even if he is still not 100%. I think Kawhi could play in the series against the Suns, but they did not force him because they don't want to aggravate the injury. He is recovering from a Knee injury but he has not undergone surgery.

Sauce please! Looks like my man PG13 will still have his duo two-way player from here on out and hope they'll last long and get that win that Leonard promises to the Clippers Nation. Just want to wait on the poll again to vote for Clippers. I think there will be change on rosters again and hope they'll get some best role players. I think they'll have to let Big Z stay or Reggie Jackson and Batum or maybe not change so much on the roster, they are best role players for Clippers as I see the past playoffs.

IMO, they can keep their team intact because they already have a championship team, as long as PG13 and Kawhi Leonard are healthy, there's no doubt that they can compete very well with any team in the West or East. LA Clippers has huge confidence in Leonard, the reason why they signed him with the biggest contract of Leonard in his career.

^I agree that Kawhi staying is a great news for Clippers, however they have proven time and time again that they are not the team everyone expected them to be. Sure they are a good team, and surely they are much better than just a few years ago, they really sucked big time for a while there, from the great "lob city" period to Kawhi+pg period it really didn't look great for them, so this is a lot better.
However, let’s be honest here, they are also not the title contenders that we assumed they would be. Even Suns played on the finals last season which nobody saw coming, so I am not saying that Clippers will not. All I am saying is that they were seen as the heavy heavy heavy favourites, like saw as high as 4.45 for winning the league on their first year. I am not saying they are bad, obviously they are a great team, but at least we can now agree that they are not THAT great.

All eyes have been on the Lakers super veteran team lately so I'm glad the Clippers finally making some news hehe. I went on to check their roster and found out they still have a lot of veterans that were former all-stars. I'm not that excited to see this team play for next season.
Anyone else who would like to see Rajon Rondo perform like his "bestfriend" Chris Paul?

Rondo would certainly do if given enough minutes, or maybe he is still adjusting as it was his first season with the Clippers and the team relied heavily on the starters. I also thought that Rajon Rondo would be as good as he was with the Lakers, but it did not pass my expectation yet, but I trust this man, I know he still has a lot to share with his team, so I'll be patient with that.

I don't doubt that Ty Lue is a great coach for the Clippers. However, winning the title in 2016 isn't a good example because Lue was hired only in mid-season, and it was his first time as head coach. I mean, he hadn't enough experience in handling players at that moment, but it wasn't a problem because Lebron had a huge motivation to get the first title for his hometown.

All eyes are turned to Los Angeles Lakers and Brooklyn Nets for the new season. Nothing changed about it actually. People were expecting to see a final series between these two teams but even one of them couldn't manage to promote to the NBA finals. They had big excuses of course.
At Lakers, A. Davis was out for a long time because of an injury. Lebron was also out for some time. And it affected the team deeply. After they came back, Davis was still struggling to adapt to the games.
At Nets, we couldn't watch the trio many times. Because Irving and Harden both had injuries for a long time. KD had to do his best to carry the team. But he saved the team until a point in the end. Bucks eliminated them by benefiting from the situation.
This time, I hope that both teams have a really good season and play-off period and one of them promote to the finals.
