Not sure why it take that look for ESPN to deem it as racism, it is because it's in the middle of the playoff and the timing is bad for the network? But for sure Rachel can find other work outside of ESPN and redeem his sporting career.

Spurs just need to get to the playoffs again. It's really a shame that the Spurs have been struggling ever after Kawhi left... I'm rooting for them to get some new exciting talent along with Dejounte Murray and co.

But if we're honest they're probably out of title contention for a while - especially during the transition period after Pop leaves.

I just searched their roster coming 2021-2022 NBA season and it seems like that they aren't a championship contender but seeing the needed wins for Coach Pop to be on the top Winningest team, I think that he will achieve it this upcoming season and after that, he might retire already.

Dudley seems a little bummed about not getting another run with the Lakers as a player. I did hear that he’s close to signing a contract with the Dallas Mavericks to be an assistant coach of some sort. I think that’s probably a better role for him, but I was surprised to read quotes from him talking about how the Lakers were making a mistake not resigning him as a player… I think he was probably kidding.

Maybe he's just a bit disappointed at what happened. Maybe he is expecting that the Lakers will resign him this year but it seems like they didn't. He expected too much and with what happened, he posted his feelings online . After all, I think that he would be helpful if he will be on the coaching staff and signing him as an assistant coach of the Mavericks would be a good start .

Yes, he is just 36 and all he can do is cheer on the sidelines. I look at reports and it looks like it was the Lakers management that didn't have the idea of signing him again. This might be the reason why Lebron James is acting weird in Twitter and telling everyone we don't know what happened behind the curtains.
It was said the Lakers is looking for some youth in the roster and their veterans is enough already.

Yeah, he wasn't used that often in that 2 years at least he won a ring with the Lakers and maybe that is enough for him to retire and then move on the front office. Maybe Lebron still wanted him in the Lakers uniform because they form a bond. But Dudley must move on career wise and he is lucky that he was given a chance with the Mavs as assistant coach.

To be fair he had David Robinson, Timmy D, Tony Parker, Manu, early kawhi.  I mean he has been blessed with some great players who would make a lot of coaches look good.  I do agree he is a great coach but give him average players and you get and average coach.  Look at belichecks team once Tom Brady left.  Belichecks genius got taken down a notch.

David though is old at that time. It's mostly Tim Duncan consuming the minutes.

They perfectly work out in his care and he builds chemistry stronger than any team. They don't have the Kobe type of player but damn, the simplicity of each play made them look like an All-Star team. No acrobatics, just basics.

The willingness of each players to work alongside with other players, that's how coach form a good contender team.

Coach Pop builds good communications and trust with each individuals inside the court, if you watch how spurs play the game you'll
learned that everyone have the chance touching the ball, and if the called play is for you, you'll going to take the shot whoever you are.

He's a pretty good addition to the roster and they got him for a cheap deal too. I've always liked how he played for Australia.

There's a rumor floating around that DeAndre Jordan won't be back as a Nets for season. I don't know what Nets are thinking if this turns out to be true. He didn't deliver last season but I think it's too late to be looking for trades now.

The former San Antonio player will be bound to the franchise for the next two years thanks to a $12 million contract. Another excellent player wiil give then a great support to Kyrie Irving, James Harden and Kevin Durant, ready to chase the title.

Seems the Nets are looking closely on how he did this recent Olympics at Tokyo. PatMills sure have been great during the Olympics and he's somehow the leader getting that bronze for the Australian Boomers, he's really a great addition on the backcourt by the Nets.

Everyone thinks that Gregg Poppovich got "lucky" with the players he got, and I agree that getting Tim Duncan is a luck and he is a great player, but Manu and Tony were not seen as great players, they were drafted late, plus Kawhi as well, dude wasn't nearly as good as he is right now when he first came into the league. Let's face the reality is that Pop manages to bring 100% out of anyone who plays for him, and whenever his team is underrated he somehow still manages to beat the expectations.

Definitely he had a bad two seasons now, but that doesn't change the fact that it is Pop and he still is the best coach in league history, with 5 rings to show for it with one team. By this logic we should say Phil Jackson is not got at all, because he had Jordan and Kobe and Shaq and Pippen, just because he had them doesn't mean that he wasn't good, he was still incredibly good.

Cousins has a little impact on any team he would play, but Kevin Love would be huge for the Lakers and that would again increase their chances of winning the championship again. Signing a contract with the Bulls might be a good opportunity for him. However, it looks like Cousins played on average only 17 minutes per game during last season, and it's not surprising, considering that he may be injured at any time. I guess it might be one of the reasons why teams limit his playing time.

I don't know where's the part that Cousins got improved last season, but no, he's not improved if we look at the whole season stats and still low key maybe because he hasn't found his rhythm yet transferring between teams and playing only with limited minutes. He's even not used much last playoffs although he's performing well in scoring.

Transferring in the Chicago Bulls, we all know that this team is lacking a big man, and DeMarcus Cousins might fill the hole. Not expecting he will get back to his usual game but at least he can give to the current Bulls roster together with their newly acquired players.

New York Knicks center Nerlens Noel filed a lawsuit against former agent Rich Paul and his firm, Klutch Sports, on Monday, claiming he lost $58 million in potential salary while he was represented by Paul from 2017 to 2020.

Noel took the action after Klutch recently filed a grievance with the National Basketball Players Association, claiming Noel hadn't paid $200,000 in commission on his previous one-year contract with the Knicks, multiple sources told ESPN.

Noel claims breach of fiduciary duty, breach of contract and negligence. The lawsuit doesn't cite a specific amount of damages but asks for actual and punitive relief.

Personally, I don't think that Noel has a case against Rich Paul here, maybe this is just a retaliation of the grievance filed by the company against him. But this case is not the first in my opinion and won't be the last. However, I think it will have an effect on some players with their agent.

Which underdog teams will you bet for when the season starts?
The favorites will still be the same, Lakers, Bucks, Nets, Clippers, Suns, Jazz, and 76ers.
So whenever they play against Warriors, Bulls, Nuggets, and Knicks teams mentioned above will be the favorites.
At the first 10 games of the league, you might want to bet for these underdogs.
Warriors - Klay back and Wiggins showcased his true performance during the play-in. The consistency though should stay.
Bulls - The biggest overhaul in their roster. DeRozan and Vucevic addition will be the key factor.
Nuggets - Murray back?
Knicks - Because of how they surprised us last season.
Atlanta Hawks may become an underdog too even if they fought at ECF.

Not that these teams are underdogs but I considering an outright bet for the Dallas Mavericks (betting since then for them no matter how good or worst their team is lol) and possibly for the Milwaukee Bucks. Not comfortable placing a bet for favorites when it comes to outright at the early phase of the season.

Currently, Mavericks @27 and Bucks @9.

I will wait for at least 10-15 games for adjustments.
