They're doing a good job and their standing is 10-3. They're up against the Wizards on Sunday while against the 76ers on Monday. So, starting today, they'll be having a good rest for the weekend until Sunday and be prepared for two straight games. Kessler did a good job for his entire playing time. These big men of Utah Jazz really are doing well whenever they're being used. This how it should be for the other teams that has big men.

I'm really giving them my support because even though they almost left with nothing, it didn't change the way they care for each other this how strong their chemistry is. And with their newly added teammates who also can play well, they are hard to beat and continue to hold the number one spot in the western conference. Since they are capable of doing such things without Gobert and Mitchell, I hope their NBA playoffs this season have also more positive results than the last 2 years.

There's nothing the Jazz have to prove now as they already have proven that they are a legit team and a playoff contender. A couple of good games airing on cable TV tonight. You have the battle of New York up first with the Brooklyn Nets facing off against the New York Knicks. Then game 2 of the doubleheader on ESPN is the battle of Los Angeles between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Los Angeles Clippers. With all the craziness surrounding all of these teams I have no idea how the night will go, but I tend to always think the Nets and Lakers have a good chance at winning. Although I think the Nets are having their issues and so are the Lakers so tonight could get ugly.

The Brooklyn Nets were very good that night, and Durant hit his 17th career triple-double, it was a great debut for J. Vaughn. By the way, Durant became the first player since Jordan to score 25 points or more in each of his team's first 12 games of the season. The Nets are clearly doing better than the Lakers, who lost again, and LeBron was injured in the last quarter and could not finish the game...

I'm not surprised though, maybe Durant's head are clear now, admit it or not, him and Nash are not a perfect match and I would say that he has something to do with Nash departure.

Anyhow, since everything has settled down in Nets, and somewhat all the drama is not at the back seat, Durant can concentrate on playing his best basketball. We can't compare it to the Lakers though. They are still a mess and the team is not built to win even with Lebron and Davis and Westbrook playing very hard.

I don’t know if I’d say that everything has settled down for the Nets. Kyrie still has some things going on and we’re all a bit in the dark after his meeting with Adam Silver. Ben Simmons still is afraid to shoot the ball and KD is clearly unhappy… Nobody will trade for Ben Simmons and only the Lakers want Kyrie in exchange for peanuts. This Nets experiment went far worse than I was expecting.

Lebron James must be pretty angry with the team now. Because the team are still a mess as it is seen clearly from their results so far. They have won only 2 out of 10 games. Lebron is still doing his best and performing strongly despite being 37 years old. But the team are still struggling to get wins just as it was in the previous season.

Westbrook is still here. Lakers should have traded him with a more talented and consistent guard. If Lakers insist on not making the right transfer moves there is no way they are saving themselves out of this mess.

That's for sure and I reckon that LeBron James is now regretting that he signed that extension because he is now trapped in hot mess with no way of getting out and it seems that aside from AD, nobody would dare to step up, not even Westbrook. I even had the thought that he's getting back at his form but he is not.

And it's already too late, most of the teams now are fine with their players so far and considering Westbrook's high salary, teams will wait him in the free agency. They are not going to carry that kind of salary which doesn't even match with WB's performance.

I'm on the same page regarding Jazz. Fully reconstructed and already looking like a strong team with great chemistry between players so let's hope this train of them will keep pushing further as play-offs are kinda secured in my opinion. Clarkson always looks solid but Markkanen can drop in it's game out of nowhere so I won't count on him as much as I can count on Clarkson or this is how I view the situation because even when he played with Bulls , he always had big swings in his plays.

The rumors surrounding LeBron James and the Lakers right now are hitting crazy levels.  Now that they've continued losing even with Westbrook playing well people are starting to point the finger at Anthony Davis.  Today there's even an article out saying the Lakers could trade Anthony Davis to the Nets for Kevin Durant.  As much as I'd love to see Durant and LeBron play together, it seems like that isn't a realistic possibility.  I thought the same thing about Carmelo Anthony though so who knows...  One thing is for sure, people want to see the Lakers do something before LeBron runs out of time to add to his legacy.

https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nba/nba-rumors-lakers-could-land-kevin-durant-in-a-super-blockbuster-trade/ar-AA13Tb5Z
Fans will always be fans and will look for some fault for which they can point their fingers. I saw those trade possibilities and most of them are fan-made but the team can really look at it if they want something to change. But isn't it going to be another start for them?
We saw how these superstars play all together and they're not really looking good to see. These teams should look at those teams that don't have many superstars yet doing better than them.

It's their depth.  You can't throw an old Lebron James out there with no supporting cast and think it's gonna work.  It's not ADs fault.  When you are starting people like austin reeves you know it's a train wreck.  Back in Cleveland he was in his prime and could carry a team they need new blood, all these top teams in the west have younger guys running the team.  It makes a difference in the nba

Unfortunately, this is very true. They know that they badly need new young ones to replace the current cores and for now they can't do much because of the contracts they are carrying, I can see that they are probably going to rebuild soon enough because they didn't risk their future picks just to get rid of WB. And because of their current situation, I can see that LeBron might force a trade if this mess go on.

This is my picks for tomorrow's game

Washington Wizards VS Dallas Mavericks

The stake odds for this game are 2.39 for the Wizards and 1.61 for the Mavericks, for now, Bradley Beal and Delon Wright can not play for the Wizards, while Taj Gibson is questionable, and the Dallas Mavericks come from a loss, so it likely they will give the Wizard a good run for their money,

Atlanta Hawks VS Philadelphia 76ers

The stake odds for this game are 1.87 for the Hawks and 1.98 for the 76ers, Bogdan Bogdanovic is still questionable if he can play while James Harden, can not play for the 76ers, and P.J. Tucker is questionable, for this game right now for me there are still players that may take on the Hawks for the 76ers so I will be siding with the 76ers in winning this,

New Orleans Pelicans VS Portland Trail Blazers

The stake odds for this game are 1.40 for the Pelicans and 3.05 for the Trail Blazers, right now E.J. Liddell, and Kira Lewis Jr. while Garrett Temple and Larry Nance Jr. are questionable right now Olivier Sarr, and Gary Payton II can not play for the Trail Blazers, while Keon Johnson, Jusuf Nurkic, and Jerami Grant is questionable if they can play but for me, I think this could be a win for the Pelicans,

Actually if you look at Mitchell as well, he is playing good basketball with the Cavs. And you just have to scratch your head as you why the previous roster choke in playoffs. So it seems that they have move already, and Jordan Clarkson leading the new Jazz team.

Yes, there are no pressures and the new coach is really doing good and maybe the organization has been relieved as well because of high expectations. I do agree that they could be playoff bound again for the first time and hopefully they can at least go to the second round and beyond.

I am really liking what the Utah Jazz is currently doing. No pressure from the coach and its players. They are a rebuilding team and are expected to lose a lot so there is nothing to lose to them anymore. The coach can easily transition his players according to his play since there are no demanding superstars to please and follow. The players at the same time can just play and enjoy their games while following a chemistry-first approach or their coach can just easily bench them.

Hopefully, they can continue this kind of momentum the whole season. It is really difficult to beat a team not depending on a single or just a few players.

I know it's early but based on how Donavan is playing and the lack of players stepping up for the Knicks, they shoukd have pulled the trigger.  Mitchell is every bit as advertised.  Was a steep price but dudes like spina don't come around often.  With that being said what a goose egg knicks laid last night.  Pathetic game

I have a different theory regarding the Nash, Kyrie, and KD conflict. I think it's all Kyrie vs Nash only but since KD had been close to Kyrie, they are more of a brother so he will support him. An enemy of my friend is my enemy. Something like that.

Anyway, KD just showed again why he is one of the highest paid in the league. 29-12-12. Something to celebrate for the Nets team.
Seth Curry's heat streak at the 3-point line also helped big time to make a large lead versus the Knicks. Defense can also be seen to be in high energy now.
The big question: When Kyrie comes back, will it be the same?
IMO, they look better without him. One alpha male may be better than two. Maybe their teammates are having a difficult time choosing who will they follow that's why they are in trouble in their first 8 games.

Irving is most likely the problem, of course, Durant will be the only one who will play harder now because he already lose two superstars (Irving and Harden), can't rely on Simmons because he does not produce points, so Durant has to play at an all star level every night to have a good chance of winning.

It is evident by now that Irving is the problem, but it's good that Durant is not affected by it and just choose to play his game and bring the team to win against their rival the Knicks. But still though, Durant will need to have a lot of help if he wanted to bring a championship to Brooklyn. I don't think that Simmons can give him, they did a big man as well in the middle and a steady point guard. Also a breathe of fresh air with a new coach could also be motivating Durant.

It is just one game win and against the Knicks. Do not dismiss Irving so fast just because the team won against the Knicks. It is not that much of an achievement. If it is against a tougher team like Celtics , Mavs or Suns, you may say that Irving is the problem, But it is not. Irving can be very difficult to handle on social media and how he sees things, but he is still very effective in court. He is very talented but his game is affected by his personal issues.

It is unbelievable what Bucks players are doing even without Giannis and Kris Middleton at the same time. I mean this team is keep winning games and they are missing their 2 best players. Wow, I have never watched the Bucks but I am impressed in their standing right now. If they keep winning without their superstars, this will be a very scary team comes the playoffs. Do you think it will be their peak this season? Will they win another championship this year?

Actually, Milwaukee Bucks are really doing great even without their superstars every season.

We are seeing them being always a Favorite even when Giannis is out or some of their good role players won't play. That's how good this team is.

Will they win another championship this year? Not sure but they can repeat it and I believed on that.

The Milwaukee Bucs are pretty solid but if they didn’t have Giannis they certainly wouldn’t have any chance at winning a championship. Perhaps they might be able to compete well enough to make the playoffs, especially in the weaker division that they are in, but I don’t see them being able to get very far without the Greek Freak.

I like how the Jazz are performing this season so far but I would have to say no at this point. This would be the first time that they are the main guys in a team if I'm not mistaken so there's more to prove as far as all-star is concerned.

........

Lebron will be missing the game against the Kings. Their opponent isn't doing well either but I don't expect them to win without their best player so it's a likely 2-10 standing later hehe. Handicap anyone - Lakers +5.5 or Kings -5.5?

He did get help from Seth Curry and then there's Sumner.
I think it got better because now KD can get the ball anytime he wants, unlike when Kyrie was there where he would get the ball from inbound and shoot it himself at the other end of the floor. Waste of energy from his teammates to go down that far if they cannot even touch the ball or let the play work.
I prefer this roster they have, but they need to be healthy all season long until they achieve a spot for the playoffs.

The Pelicans' loss against the Trail Blazers, it's not a good sign for the start of their 6 straight home games.

It was a job well done. But they were against a weak team though. They will visit the San Antonio Spurs tomorrow, another winnable or 50/50 game for them even without Giannis. I will only give them huge credit if they can beat the Atlanta Hawks at Milwaukee this coming Tuesday without Giannis.

Giannis alone is very difficult to stop. Provide him with 4 players that can shoot anywhere and they are still good. Kris Middleton though is a big factor when it comes to the playoffs where the real game begins.

Without their star players, that will make the team more prepared in a battle, and this win would prove that they are not only good because of Giannis but because they are a team, just like the Jazz, there's no supertar but as a team they are good that's why they keep winning games.

Looking at paper, without Lebron, I guess Kings -5.5 will be an easy bet for us. Lakers is in disarray right now, and they are only good in the first 2 quarters.

While the Kings mentality is very different right now, although they are like 4-6, majority of their loses are close games and less than 10 points if I'm not mistaken. And they didn't get the benefit of the calls. And with that, I will have to go with the Kings in this game.
