I’m glad. The rumors yesterday were that he was planning on playing overseas, which I couldn’t imagine since he’s already insanely wealthy and is trying to build on his legacy at this point. The Sacramento Kings made a good move and continue building some star power in Sacramento. That should be good for something.
That's a lot of Guards position now in Kings but I think Broody still fits there even if he's in the second unit much more if he gets to be starter which I think is unlikely. Yeah, can't imagine him playing overseas, he's probably ageing but I think he's still got that dog in him to play in the NBA and I'm glad the Kings give him that chance and should be good to probably mentor some young guys there. Much better to Stay in this league instead of showing his remaining skills overseas, in terms of playing with the Kings I'm pretty sure that he'll get his minutes and he'll be playing with his tempo, signing him is also giving him another opportunity to show that he still got something left from what he originally posses, though he's no longer as hype the way he was when he's still at his prime but giving him decent time and good game play he can still contribute, let see how the coach and management will use and maximize him after giving him his contact.

The level of competition overseas are less i mean with it comes to games played, unlike the NBA, they have to play back to back games, aside from trainings, but its good that Russ has a team now, it will be such a waste, if he will not be playing in the NBA, besides the experience he has will help the team, since, the problem with the kings are always in the playoffs, they were unable to pass through even though they have a better team, they were being overwhelm by experience team in the playoffs he may guide them, on what to do.

LeBron just came out and said that he will most likely be sidelined for another month as he wants to take it slow to make sure he is fully healthy upon his return. Seems like a possibility, he is old. It could also be cover while they negotiate a trade. Everyone is currently denying that is what is happening though.

Exactly, it's difficult to imagine him as a great contender before in MVP titles, scoring titles and probably future HoF will play overseas. It's just not his prime anymore and probably just few more years to stay in the league so it was such a bold move for Kings to let him remain in the NBA. I definitely want him to retire as NBA player. Last year with Nuggets he play decent game as role player and I think as I can remember he even play as a starter along with Jokic. It could also be cover while they negotiate a trade. Everyone is currently denying that is what is happening though.

I have a feeling that all these rumors about LeBron possibly being traded will remain just rumors. He has already accepted the player option for the upcoming season, which means he will earn $52 million. That is a lot of money, and not every team can afford a player with such a contract right now. In addition, LeBron can refuse to be traded under the terms of his contract.

As what we have been saying, father time is undefeated. And even if he really takes care of his body and health, sooner or later there will be just one crack and that's it. It will continue to haunt him just like what we are seeing here. That's why he want to make it sure that he will have to recovered fully. But then again, once you had that knock on your body, it might came back. I'm not really sure if this is a cover for a trade or what. I still think that Lebron wanted to stay with the Lakers until he retires. Maybe I'm wrong, but if wanted to chase another ring, then it could be in another contender team.

I think everyone knew the fact that his game is already deteriorating ever since he moved to Lakers. That last championship he made is just a bonus on his legacy since he is not that dominant anymore most especially on his recent performance. I wonder whose team is willing to acquire him and slash their main roster just to have an old guy on their team. I hope he will retire on Cavs if Lebron is willing to significantly lower his salary.

Yeah the exposure for every team signing Lebron would be great, but taking a 52 million $ burden for an almost 41 year old Lebron, possibly in pair with his no good son, that's no gamble any team should take, seriously. By the way, Lakers as a team are still hilarious. Just watch the highlights of their latest preseason game against the Mavs in Vegas. Lakers up 13 at halftime just to lose the 2nd half by a whopping 28:68 , amazing. 8:37 in the 4th, whoop whoop.

Maybe both. It involves his future and retirement, so he doesn’t want to take too many risks with his health. He needs to stay healthy until he gets his 5th ring so he can negotiate well before retiring. They’ll keep denying and won’t reveal anything about a trade or his future with the Lakers until an agreement is reached. I believe they’ll only announce it once it’s finalized. There are many current and rising stars, but it will never be the same once LeBron is no longer in the league.

I was in the impression that Nuggets will keep him but that's how management works, if they are not satisfied with how you perform even how hard you work for it, then they can easily replace you by not offering any contract to you, and similar to what you say, that's a good action from the Kings, giving him a chance to play still in the league where he trully belongs. Let see if what's going to happened this season and how he'll bring his numbers, though not expecting him to be an starter but a good back up for LaVine and DeRozan he can give them the rest that they need for the entire season.

I don't see any bad contract for Lebron but rather the other conditions that might came out after this since if Lakers would be push to sign Bryce then maybe they would be in big trouble then chance for their team to go to finals might became less. Since there team will be heading into full of drama and not to became a title contender team. Lebron still good despite of his age, but for sure Lakers is done with other nonsense and want to focus getting championship starting maybe this season. But for what's happening in the past it seems that they are aware of those possibilities. That's why Lakers is preparing to get rid of Lebron and build solid players around Luka.

Some people don't understand but aging people always feel things that they don't feel when they were 18-30 years old but when they reach 37 to 40 years old, even when you are taking care of your body some parts like groin, back, feet's and legs feels heavy, he might be negotiating for a trade, but he is also hurt, to be honest when you play for that long, there is a point where with that consistency of playing over that span of years, those muscle is tired as a cow running on the field in the whole day. People who are not into sports don't know that, and some are just don't want to accept that he can still play waiting for him to retire, but he already accomplish, while they are just a role player until the end of their careers.

But yeah some NBA fans still think the 2020 championship doesn’t really count since it was played in the bubble. No crowd, no homecourt advantage and the whole setup just felt weird compared to a normal season. People even joke about it being Mickey Mouse ring lol because it was won at Disney World. But honestly, being locked in that environment for months and still winning takes a lot of mental toughness. For me, it still deserves respect.. a ring is a ring..

Lebron has no luxury for waiting for his 5th ring since he is already near to retirement. Besides, he doesn’t have the capability to call a shot for a ring since he can’t carry a team anymore. A team that will acquire target is probably his popularity for a more support on the ticket sales of the team matches on their home court. Lebron is still a good player but I believe he is not in the position anymore to decide for the team like acquiring players just to support him.

Highlights on my Chrome mean the season is near. I don't want to bet just yet. I will go for the tip-off. Donovan Mitchell leads Cavaliers’ pursuit of reaching NBA Finals for first time since 2018https://apnews.com/article/cavaliers-mitchell-mobley-atkinson-3a5383a7f531aefd0774d3b258b208a4They were the top team in the East last season. I even thought they were undefeatable because of their twin towers and the two backcourt player, Garland and Mitchell. Now, they added Lonzo Ball to the picture. A pure point guard who doesn't care about points. Assists are his main priority, and I bet that is a good choice for Mitchell to score more. The question? Are they really a championship contender in the East? Knicks also upgraded their roster, and the Orlando Magic ain't to be underestimated. I think the East will be more entertaining this season.

Lonzo looked good yesterday. He was dishing out some highlights. LaMelo had a great highlight yesterday too throwing a left handed lob on a fast break… Lonzo will be a good addition to the Cavs if he can stay healthy, but I still feel like they’re missing a guy who can take the team to the promise land.

While that is true, not like there is much he can do to win it at 40+ years old. I mean sure he has Doncic with him, but they do not have much else to play with. They have Rui, Reaves, Vanderbilt, Vincent, Kleber, Ayton, Marcus Smart, Bronny, Knecth, these are the players Lebron is playing with. While I agree that Doncic is an amazing superstar, the rest look like a mostly g-league level players. It's true that they have some decent players here and there, like I take that Rui and Smart are good defenders, but that's not enough. So even if Lebron really wants to, which I am sure he has done every single year of his career, I am sure that he is not going to end up winning this year, because he doesn't have the team for it.

In addition, LeBron can refuse to be traded under the terms of his contract. The time that they can trade Le-GM is I think days before the all-star weekend. We're nearing the start of the regular season already so trades are prohibited during that time. Anyway, rumors will just be rumors, and I don't thin there's any team right now that are willing to pay a 40-year old player with $52M. That's just a loss for them knowing that they'll be only having him for one regular season only. Imagine you giving up future draft picks and some good players just to get an already injury-prone player in Le-GM? If I'm the GM, I'd rather wait for him to become a free agent and pay him a veteran minimum deal. As for his injury though, I just hope that he's fine, and him sitting for a month isn't that much of a big deal especially we are just starting the season. They still have Luka and Reaves though to carry the team. Forget about Ayton.

The new season is finally starting. I didn't follow the pre-season games at all, except for some videos and news that appeared in my feed. For example, Malcolm Brogdon's early retirement decision seemed strange to me. There must be a personal reason behind it, because from what we saw on the court, he was a very valuable player. He would've been a good rotation player for the Knicks this season. His decision should be respected but I'm almost sure it wasn't for on-court reasons.

Likely a sign of getting old and can't really defeat age. But seeing him not retiring while Brogdon retired as the 2017 ROTY, that's history compared to him as 2004 ROTY. I think that he's pushing for something. His heartfelt message is emotional to me and I think that he wants to do other things after dedicating his life to basketball. Well, we wish him all the best for the next chapter of his life.
