Qora is extremely undervalued. Have a lot of another poor coin projects in concept with lots of satoshis by unit. This team receive today a lot of incentive to insert this project to another level.
In your opinion, how much should cost Qora?

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

I dont know how much, but is clear that is extremely undervalued. But i really think that the developer team need start quickly yours own Social Network or a decentralized blog service to expand the project development . I don't know if this is part of the original idea , but it would make a huge difference and bring many people to help work on the project .

I agree. The project has no advertising. If add on the Azure, this slightly will change the situation.

What do you mean? We already have a working decentralized social network, blogs and decentralized web?!

Have a lot of explanation about BTer problem in this topic. You can see backing in the pages.
Yeah, I see. So those coins are lost, if I am correct... Short of a miracle, yes. The sad truth is, though they claimed to be hacked, their Qora wallet address was and is well known. In fact, it was one of the largest balances if it still isn't. Not a single Qora has moved since the hack, yet they refuse to allow for withdrawals. BTER still operating is more baffling than Trump phenomenon. Both defy all rational explanation imo

What's going on with Qora?! Can anyone fill me in on what's been going on recently? Or is this just some random whale manipulating the price

I think because the coin was extremely undervalued and the project restart again a few days ago.

Although perhaps unknown to many on this forum the CIYAM Developers have been developing a new kind of blockchain technology for the last couple of years (it isn't ready for use yet but is getting close to completion).
As the CIYAM Developers have been involved with Qora for some time we are now considering the idea of perhaps creating a clone of Qora that works using the principles of the CIYAM blockchain (which is not POS but instead a POW for account creation that then works on hash-chains for block creation) as a trial of the concept.
The final CIYAM blockchain won't be a coin and if this Qora clone is actually created then it won't be owned or controlled by CIYAM but instead according to rules that will be part of the coin's creation (perhaps involving those Qora holders prior to the block that was published before this post).
Such a clone would of course support AT and ACCT between Qora and itself (and Burst) so IMO it should actually help both Qora and Burst.
Also to perhaps put things in perspective (as to why I am suggesting a clone) please research Diaspora (which was a failed attempt at a decentralised social network). IMO you can't charge people to create blogs or web pages (as it will never take off) so you need a way that allows that to be free (which requires controlling the amount of accounts that can be created to avoid attacks).
Are you still thinking of monetizing ATfunding asset ? ATFunding asset was created to fund CIYAM developers for implementing AT and ACCT between Qora AND BURST . Any considerations rewarding some of Qora clone coins to these people who supported AT implementation from the begining ?

I think part is just the Hype and FUD, the other portions could actually be general interest and some in for the benefits of the long term. Whatever it is, I am liking the progress of the QORA coin. I only have 10 million in QORA, it isn't a huge investment, however, it's more so one of the biggest I have in any current coin on the market. I have hope for QORA, though the development side and social aspects need to improve.

The wallet crashed when I use the old(Qora-V7 at May 2014) wallet directory to replace the new wallet. So how can I get back my wallet? Actually, right now I just have the wallet files, but I forgot the seed. PS. I remembered the password.

Make sure you save your wallet at a safe place. You can then try to make a fresh install of the new version, and just copy the wallet into your installation dir (universal version) and try to start form scratch. That should work.

I use version Qora_v0.25.1.zip. After sync, I deleted the wallet directory, and then put the old wallet directory there, and can't start it successfully. So I deleted the data directory, restart it again, however, it failed too.
