When I firstly heard about bitcoins I thought that its a pure scam and its not worth to invest money in it as in long run it will only give me loss so after doing some great research I found that its an genuine way of earning some extra money.

We had the same experience and thoughts about Bitcoin before. I was scammed multiple times when I was a newbie and I decided to stop using it because of that. Then after a few years, I decided to try it again but I did some research first and now I'm earning good and learn from my past mistakes to avoid being scam.

I think that most of us had been scammed in some way during our early days in Bitcoin. Cloud mining schemes were the usual among scammers, making us believe that we would make profit within a short amount of time.

In addition, there were some ICOs that turned out to become a scam, as well as the infamous Paycoin cryptocurrency by Garza. This last one made me lose a lot of money, but thanks to the lessons learned, I have avoided these schemes as much as possible.

Nevertheless, we should always be vary of the risks underlying Bitcoin to increase our experiences within it for the long term. Just my thoughts.  Grin

It was between 2009 and 2010, first time I got the internet and registered on facebook, I'm pretty sure there was a game where I could buy some stuff via bitcoin, not sure how much does it cost but anyway, so I did some jobs as "free rewards" and got some bitcoin. Since then I haven't heard about them for next 4 years (wasn't actually interested).
In 2014 friend got 0.5$ worth bitcoin on some faucet site, and gambled on satoshimines, he got lucky and withdraw around 100$ so I also got interested.
Since then I started to explore more about bitcoin and now altcoins.

When I first started using bitcoin I was really clueless,
I don't really know what to do on how to receive how to send and how will I earn,
Then I found out a group where they post every link where you could earn satoshi for free and some HYIP that you could invest in.

My experiences in bitcoin when I started it was really great,
I watch some video to learn how to use the online wallet and it turns out to be great,
I earn some in Faucet and tried to invest it in a HYIP and earn some satoshi I earn a decent amount of money through it.

yeah its has so, many ways of earning it for a student and it provides ways to earn on daily and weekly basis. when i was starting i am also finding ways to earn it and then a friend introduce it to me
i think it is better to use for investment purpose.

You are lucky because you earn a few bitcoins in faucet as well as in high yield investment programs because back in the day when i was keep investing into hyips i will always end up losing money and getting scam time to time so i just give up and start trading which is the main source of my bitcoins as of now.

Agree. Bitcoin is the best investment that you could make nowadays. It well serves this purpose, as it is scarce and continuously expands in price over time. With Bitcoin, you can earn it just like fiat currency, only a lot better, because it gives you complete freedom over your money and it is easy enough to carry anywhere like storing it in a USB drive or even a paper wallet, unlike physical fiat currency.

Nevertheless, as we introduce more people into Bitcoin, we're helping our society to evolve in a point where no cash would be needed in the future. It will be a cashless society where people transact in Bitcoin, altcoins, or even digital currencies issued by governments. Just my opinion.  Smiley

As I can say that I always have a thurst which is i like to learn everything which is specially related to Technologies so as time passes I'll join the network on 2011 probably I came to know about Bitcoin from a TV show they were running interview on Discovery channel there a guy told how he has lost his money because he lost his private key so I just love that concept and to learn about it I jump into the network. it was a hard journey especially for a kid to know after spending a few months I was attracted towards the gambling but it takes me some patience and time to get up from that line and finally with some of the hard work and today I am here as a poster or blogger

I heard about it in another forum and some guy said he was making a living trading it and that it was anonymous. This was 2013.  I have a finance background so I jumped on it.  It was $75 back then.

I still remember quite well about that time when I first knew about bitcoin although it has been more than a year now. I was like a kid learning the alphabet order for the first time but at a higher level. It's hard to understand all of these things though, I decided to do something to earn some bitcoin. I went through typing captchas, faucets, gambling, etc. but I didn't earn much until I found out about this forum and entered some online jobs.

I felt the same, with one more addition I thought that I can make millions on faucets. Yes they are waste of time, but now I often think if I didn`t stop to use them and to put all that faucet coins in one wallet how much would I have now in dollars? Bitcoin price went so high, I didn`t expect such rise in so short time, I cashed out so many times, I would probably have more then 10 btc now ( which is more then $10k ).
From the moment I heard about bitcoin I`m active, in more then year I`m here earning and gambling almost every day, in all this time I didn`t do that only a few days.

What were your experiences with Bitcoin when you first started?
Low fees, fast confirmations... in other words: the opposite of what it is at the moment.

I already dropped all my coins, now I'm waiting for the next cryptocurrency that may take its place.

But what business owner will drop Bitcoin or add another cryptocurrency to their deposit/withdrawal options? If I were one, I'd do that already.

I want a secondary option that will fulfill my needs.

Similar stuff. I found out about bitcoin in 2010, decided it was a neat idea but had no potential, and went on with my life. The late 2014/2015s roll around and I find myself realizing that the price is now in the hundreds. Definitely one of the things I regret the most, but I'm still happy that I got in the game relatively quickly. Cheesy

Yeah. Bitcoin has changed a lot since our early days within it, making it distant from becoming used as a mainstream payments system anytime soon. Before then, Bitcoin was just perfect and I could send and receive transactions at a much quicker rate than what it is right now. Besides that, Bitcoin was way much cheaper and I should've invested into it earlier so I could've earned vast amounts of money.

Still, I'm glad I've joined Bitcoin in the first place, to share my experiences with others who are new to it. As well as you, I'm looking for another coin that will handle my daily needs for transacting with others.  Smiley

I experience it here in campaign. I earn bitcoin here in campaign it is because that my brother teach me to do it so that I can also earn like him. He also teaches me how to double it so that I can earn online but it is also risky to do it. So I do it occasionally.
