What were your experiences with Bitcoin when you first started?

My first experience in bitcoin is very tough. I don't even understand the terminologies used in the forum. I have to search and read articles in order to understand those term. And in order to earn btc, i tried free faucets but it's all just waste of time. I did not even had a chance to earn bitcoin from faucets, so I just decided to rank up my account so that I will be able to join signature campaign. Now, I still have some difficulties but still I can conquer.

Not really interested with bitcoin that time as i profited and at the end lost. Same here. I was stupid enough to ignore Bitcoin, when I first heard about it (the wikileaks funding). Else, I would have been a millionaire right now. I took Bitcoins seriously only in 2014, and by then the prices were already at the peak (around $800 per coin). I started collecting them after one of my friends told me that I would get good returns from it.

Im not the same as both of you when i first heard about it i get a little bit curious why it was use in illegal transaction in darkweb internet and why it exist if it is illegal.then that day i started asking questions to those who know it then find a group who are using it and finally started with the kind of scam sites before knowing this forum.

I actually had a hard time when I started with bitcoin. Everything started with me incredulous of its real value and use. When my brother led me into it, I began reading and watching videos until I am finally convinced of its real existence. And then there are also sites here where one can pay their bills--electric bills, credit card bills, etc--, buy load cards, and other transactions with bitcoin.

The most convincing piece of information though is that you can buy some of it and try to trade with it and other cryptos and gain a lot of money. I have yet to try it though. But I'm excited.

First i got to know bitcoin i started with playing faucet. Without much knowledge and without knowing what a faucet is, I teeus play it ... though it is very boring but I am eager to play it. Why? Because I want to have bitcoin even if only a little bit. Until at the end I got to know this forum and I stopped playing the faucet.

I would like to know what experiences did you had when you first started with Bitcoins. As for me, I had many that I would like to share with you.

When I began in the Bitcoin world, I was a complete rookie with no proper knowledge of how did mining worked or anything about cryptocurrencies. I just thought about Bitcoin as another payment processor like PayPal. But when I joined the BitcoinTalk community, I learned so many things along the way. In my process of learning in the first days, I decided to invest into cloud mining services. Since I didn't knew much about it, I invested a plenty amount of Bitcoins to start my journey into it. During that time, I had gotten into many different services. Those were GAW Miners, then Cointellect, cloudminr.io and finally Hashnest. After getting scammed many times by the services mentioned previously, (except for Hashnest) I have lost many Bitcoins. As a result, I decided to never invest into cloud mining and thus dedicate myself into learning more about the cryptocurrency and look for other ways to earn Bitcoins. It was then that I enrolled into the signature campaign that I am currently into and during all that time I began to earn Bitcoins as well as diversify my investments into different alt coins. Now I am dedicated to trading Bitcoins and other alt coins, as well as working for it (like the signature campaign and working as a freelancer) in order to earn coins and build up my portfolio along the way.

Anyways, what would be your experiences with this exciting cryptocurrency?  

AT first, I was so excited. Excited because I knew I can earn through bitcoin. But it is not as easy as expected. After I registered I started reading and reading and reading, but most of the time I get tired of reading so I will just ask my friends about bitcoin. They don't always answer me because they are busy and they want me to just read. Then I notice, I have to rank up first. In order to rank up I have to reach number of activities and post. Everyday I posted with a minimum of eight ( 8 ) posts and with a maximum of ten (10) posts. As the day pass by, I am learning more. Then I started joining campaigns.

Me too. My first experience was i dont know i dont really know how to earn bitcoin and what bitcoin really is, i have posted in a social media site i am looking for a help. And then they give me many faucets sites there , they say that i will earn bitcoin from it. They do not tell me that i will get a satoshi not bitcoin. And then i found this forum and now it helps me a lot.

No one introduced me to bitcoin, i just heard or read it somewhere few years ago and it comes to my mind and do someresearch about it and that's it. Almost 90% of them who ever knew about bitcoin first started with faucet and in that some were able to earn good due to affiliate bounty. I also started with faucet earning and use to work for more then 20 hrs but still were not able to earn good, that time one more person introduced me to this forum and here i am today earning so much that now i am able to run my family expenses without any problem.

When i have started bitcoin i was so amazed how my money grows faster and bigger in a short period of time.That was the time that i urge myself to continue using bitcoin.

Things aside, I was driven into Bitcoin mostly by its long term value, as I was confident that the pioneer cryptocurrency would become more valuable as time passed by. In my time, it was worth nearly $300, and now its worth a fortune. Thanks to holding some of my coins for the long term, along with its value rising over time, I was able to make good money and invest it into something that would help me preserve my financial future.

That is to say, there were tuff times during my early days in Bitcoin where I was scammed my times especially in cloud mining, but I never gave up and now the experiences learned are really paying up.

Yes the scam websites if you will invest and after amount it were all gone maybe part of being first timers with bitcoins.  I was scammed and since then I never do any investing with bitcoins.  I was always been afraid to try until now.

My first time experience with Bitcoin was a little bit hilarious. It was in October or so last year that I heard about it. Then I decided to pursue it by getting a Bitcoin wallet in December. It took my all of January before I could open a thing as simple as a wallet...Lol. Agree. Bitcoin really does pay up over time, if you save and invest your coins well. While I'm not rich yet, I'm on the path towards becoming so by taking my due diligence to investigate and make the right investment at the right moment.

I've lost many Bitcoins during my early days because of scams and ponzi schemes, but nowadays I've been able to recover most of my losses by following the right strategies. So far, I've invested in many ICOs and made some profit expanding my capital for the future. That is to say though, not every ICO is good but if you take the time to make a research about them, you'll ensure your success in the long term.

Nevertheless, it is good to pass through these experiences as it will help you avoid making mistakes, while at the same time it allows you to teach others who are new into the field to avoid them as well. Just sharing my thoughts.

It was great feeling to know about bitcoins 2 years back as I found it really interesting and innovative way of earning money no doubt it was not easy to understand it completely and took long time to learn how it can be earned but after spending time on forum and watching many videos it added some value to my knowledge about bitcoins and now I have found many ways of earning it.
