Just about anything will do to tell the truth, I do recommend the more expensive brands to guard against failure (sandisk or something) but it does not need to be big or class 10. I do think something is wrong with yours though, a couple of hours is wrong, it should take 2-3 minutes at most. Neil

Downloaded 2.0 and htop was showing CPU usage was jumping back and forth between 5% and 100%. Not really sure what is going on there, is that normal? Edit: I figured it out now, it jumps when I click around on the website. When I click graphs it will go to 100%, but when I am not doing anything it stabilizes around 5% (2ish with htop closed)

Greetings, Neil. I already downloaded MinePeon 0.2.0 from SourceForge.net and this time, it could be unzipped without errors. It started with no problems, configured well (the 15m/24h stays ) and it started mining. htop confirmed the calm work, with a RPI almost sleeping... The miner.php page is now working ( Thanks, My Lord Neil!) and I still can't get that option @ the upper menu, but otherwise, the Graphics new feature is working fine... Keep the great work, Neil and I will keep mining some time daily for you. I hope that all other users of this great Program will keep doing the same.

Neil Dear Lord Neil Fincham: Of course Your Grace deserves all the titles and bolds. Your Grace is working for all us. I hope to keep using MinePeon, when in a (not so) near future, I shall receive a BFL Jalapeño and a Klondike16. I do like the new stats and also the old status. Please don´t forget to include again the Status link to miner.php @ the upper menu, Your Grace. Yours sincerely, Rui Costa

will mine peon automatically pick up the USB erupters ? The miner underneath is cgminer so it should, it does have problems with some hubs though. I can only get the FPGA going The Eruptors use a FPGA driver, is that what you mean? Neil

Thanks again Neil! So, we need to just burn this image over the old one then? (Excuse my ignorance, but would it be easier for us to copy a config file for our pool settings, etc. and just reimport it to the new install? And which file would that be? ) My install works right out of the box without me doing anything but adding the miner pool settings. Great great job. Any ideas when the update version will arrive? Very appreciative of your help, You are helping this community a ton. Hard to believe how easy you have made Linux (coming from an old user, who stopped using.) IAS

Another possible suggestion / request: Could the version and/or release date be added to the web ui header bar (where it has graphs, pools, settings, etc), say, on the right side? +1 on the miner stats on the graphs page! Nice work! tacked on another 5 minutes to the donation time. Edit: Just had another thought right after I hit post. How about a 'Versions' page that would list the Minepeon version along with the included cgminer and bfgminer versions? Just a thought to toss around.

That is in the works actually. I am looking around for a suitable screen to make it accessible for everyone (that one comes as a kit and might be a bit much to assemble for some), if you feel like it you can google around a bit and find me a pre assembled one for me to buy and work on. Neil P.S. How is everyone finding downloading the images from mega.co.nz?

Speaking of LCDs, I just got around to putting mine in Just testing stuff out before ASICs get here. Shipped back all but 2 of my FPGAs! Also got a wire shelving rack being shipped right now ( http://www.amazon.com/dp/B000LRDTYG/ref=pe_385040_30332200_pe_309540_26725410_item). A little messy right now, but I will clean that up once I get the wire shelve in and have ASICs here Also, that pic is actually clear and cgminer isn't really blurry on that LCD, I just suck at taking pics (or I can blame it on my camera!)

That's an issue with CGMiner, so I don't think it's anything this distro can fix.
