May i ask what an AT country is?? is united kingdom one? is this included in international express delivery?

BFL claims they start shipping in October.
Like this page says they really promise.

Though my question is, wich items you are gonna ship first?
Are you guys first gonna ship the Jalapenos and maybe a couple of SC Mini rigs?
For example: as far we can guess it's maybe gonna takes another 4 months after October before you ship the Single SC units, though the shipping started in October alright like promised.
Can BFL give us maybe a little bit clarification on that area?

The initial orders will be grouped into a batch prior to shipment.  This will ensure no one is an unfair beneficiary of disproportionate hashing power.  Having said this, we only have so much production capacity and the initial order group will still do very very well.  That being the case, here are the rules we will stick to in releasing these units.

1/3rd of the units will go in order priority of purchase date.
1/3rd of the units will go to trade in customers.
1/3rd of the units will go to random orders placed in the first month (6/23 - 7/23).

Both priority customers and trade in customers may benefit from random selection prior to their natural shipping order.


Refunds and charge backs:  All sales are final unless we fail to perform.  That includes both performance and shipping targets.  60 days past target and we'll happily refund your purchase.  If you would really like a refund anyway, just ask and we'll probably be able to take care of you.  Nonetheless, we reserve the right to handle it on a case by case basis.

AT designated nations are N. Korea, Cuba etc.  You can find the latest list as updated by the US commerce department on their website.

The range of temperature tolerance of the SC chip is extremely wide which is the nature of a dedicated ASIC as compared to a design sensitive FPGA implementation.  The final temperature depends on the thermal handling characteristics of a heatsink/fan implementation.  Overclocking (which is viable with the SC) will change these dynamics considerably.  I think the most useful answer to your question is that the end temperature in our application as designed is around 37C, but the chips support performance stability well beyond 80C.

We will release development photos as we closer approach release.

Does your company even posses a MO UCC registration under which to uphold any such statments of policy?

Not wasting any more time on this but 2 things;
1. "That includes both performance and shipping targets" So you now wish to add in an "as-is" clause after the bulk of your sales? sadly it does nto work that way.

2. Any individual sales over $5,000 will require a writtin contract to enforce any of your policies.

They stated that they were delaying bank wire acceptance slightly to allow BTC payments first dibs.(how true that is god only knows).
They did also state however that your order will not be delayed by the time that they delay in getting you the bankwire info. Your only delay will be how long it takes your wire money to reach them once you receive the info. So, if you ordered on the 25th and your bankwire once you get the info takes 2 days, then your official order queue will be the 27th.

They have said that they are going to be manufacturing a large batch and send those out at once to prevent one person from getting an advantage. Honestly, I hope the just produce as many as they can and start the first shipments on October 31st to make that first batch as big as possible.

That's my hope, but I still think the delivery will slip to December.

Maybe this is what leads to the end of the world? Maybe with all those hashes the bitcoin network becomes self aware and destroys the world?
