You haven't messaged him or the other ozcoin team members with something thats important enough for you to post on the thread about it more than once? Ohhhhhhhh, I see Roll Eyes  (that's how you roll your eyes)

FYI, I updated MPoolMonitor to v2.4 to support the API changes that were made a while back that broke support in MPoolMonitor.

You must be a comedian or need to get laid.

I want my questions to be addressed publicly. Because its not specific but rather common (potentially affected other miners as well)
See my post about regarding NMC payout? i told the poster to PM Graet to handle because its only specific to him.

Are you helping with the issue or just a being a prick?  Roll Eyes (..insert childish attack here....)

The two are not mutually exclusive. I'm fairly certain even comedians need to get laid once in a while

A pm gets sent in an email to a forum member. Even if they're not on the actual forum. It's a good way to get someone's attention.

Why do you want to make me have to choose?

I can't seem to connect to any of the stratum proxy using cgminer or phoenix. All I keep getting is can't connect to server.

Here's what my phoenix.cfg looks like:

Code:
[general]
verbose = False
autodetect = +cl
backend = http://user.name:password@us.ozco.in:8332

I've tried other ports like 80, 8331 and even 3333. None of them work. To make sure it wasn't on my side, I connected to us.eclipsemc.com and pool.maxbtc.com and they both connect and hash without issues. Any idea what could be wrong?

Meh.
My suggestion last time to them was to close your account, pay you out and be rid of you.
Looks like they made the mistake of not closing your account.
I'm definitely of the opinion that the customer ISN'T always right.
Get rid of the pricks (like you) and everyone is happier.

Sorry, needed to take a break from the forum, but anyone that clicked the "WebIRC" link on the site and came to the IRC chanel got pretty much instant support, email responses were a bit slower.

From the Thursday night before Easter to last Sunday I got 4hours or less per night sleep, It seems the sudden rise in prices stimulated a lot of interest in mining , by last weekend I was fully fried and needed a break, people in IRC were noticing I was getting too grumpy so I went away for 2 nights in an attempt to catch some sleep, 1st night 4am , woken up to be told site is down and we need to contact host - host didn't respond until after 9am and it was another couple of hours before they could help us and the site came back up.... not really a great break :/

nemesis if you want this dealt with in public please post your site username so I can check what is going on - otherwise PM me, email me or drop into IRC.....

Over the last week substantial work has been done on the back end of the site
the biggest bug to be squashed was the "not adding all 3 payment types together when total was over threshold"
Quite a bit of code has been optimised and updated.
Miners will notice some changes in how PPS and POT stats are displayed.

The 1st place I update any "News" is in the "Latest News" box on every page of the website - I would encourage miners to check there 1st. When the choice is posting updates in multiple places and answering questions in IRC or fixing the site as quickly as possible I will ALWAYS choose fix the site.

I would like also to remind miners that at times the internet is not the most stable place to run a business
http://www.internetweathermap.com/map
is an interesting site, often miners complain about network issues , but when we look at that map it explains it...

We are looking at ways to make the whole setup more robust, but this will take some time and some money, if BTC prices are stable over $100 we should be able to migrate to a more robust setup with a new frontend within 60days

Best wishes
Graeme

Ah the life of a Pool Op.  People only see the 3 or 5%  and think they're getting passively rich.  Being a big time Pool Op is more or less a full time job.

Full time job would be 40 hours/week (US).  I'd kill to only work that many hours on my pool, and I'm sure Graet is the same way Smiley

I was curious about starting a pool just for fun. This thread changed my mind, it doesn't sound fun at all.
I wasn't joking about:
The benefits? Realistically: many sleepless nights, headaches, heartaches, trolling, frustration, loss of money and the very slim chance of making a profit...
and eleuthria with:
Con:  Dealing with botnets that screw up your servers by overloading them and then dealing with assholes who DDoS you when you kick them off.
Eleuthria is making a sizeable profit now but that belies just how much investment and work he has and is continually putting into it.

Isnt that too late when i said i'm done with this pool?

I dont see you're a pool operator, but Luke is. And you had problem with him being nazi. How does that make you different? Atleast i gave feedback, idiot

Graet, dont worry man. I moved on. Atleast you found the bugs. First time i switched to PPS i noticed the stats wasnt right (btc count in DGM but not in PPS). Been with the pool on DGM for 10 months i believe.

Updating how PPS stats are displayed, might look strange for a few minutes

Hi
I noticed some very high payouts and we stopped payout script while working out what's happening
a few got through before we stopped payouts
one user was paid 91 BTC and another 72BTC most others have been much lower, we are working to correct the unpaid balances
If anyone that has been overpaid would be good enough to return overpayments it would be appreciated
Site Bitcoin donation address 1Gzcbs8dDYzf16qFWKHc5kWKuH8nji3pVt would be fine
sorry for any inconvenience
