So what's the current status for OzCoin? Are we back up 100%, all nodes working (with updated security fixes) and payout processing as intended?
yes, tho it seems some ppl are seeing hashrate display issues just got home from surgery it would help if miners with issues could info apart from "how always 0.00 MHash/s" like what payout system, mining software, etc, etc - my psychic skills aren't up to it - help me to help you please EDIT: hashrate display was cosmetic, should be fixed now

I just received a miner idle notification. But cgminer is still hashing away.
Also already tried to restart cgminer, this doesn't influence the status on the ozcoin pool.
Are shares still recorded, or am I mining for nothing now?

there was a display error that should be fixed now sorry for any inconvenience Graet Thanks, but the issue is still there for me. My username is haveagr8day on the pool if you need that. Edit: My total seems to be going up properly now, but my earnings during the time it wasn't working don't seem to be going through. (~0.00353952 BTC) Not much I know, but it is still more than I have made so far. Edit 2: Never mind, the missing amount just went through, thanks.

Glad the pool is back up and working again! Just had a question about Ozcoin compared to other pools. I have no issues with Ozcoin when I'm only mining on just Ozcoin. I switched cgminer to --balance, and I'm getting strange results. I know --balance won't perfectly distribute my hashrate, but I thought it was interesting nonetheless. Ozcoin is the top pool. I'm getting 10-20x the number of getworks, 1/3 the number of shares, and 5-6x the number of discarded. Is this normal? Now as I said, when I'm mining with just Ozcoin, I have no issues, and it works just great. It's when I try to balance my hashrate that Ozcoin just sort of falls off. Any idea on why this is happening?

Hi, I've been mining using the PoT payout for a few weeks now. I don't have very much hardware, but the last few days my income from the pool has gone down by about a factor of ten. I understand the random nature of the PoT method, but the difference between the PoT payout and the DGM payout isn't that big (~0.02 BTC). Has there been any changes over the last few days that would account for this?
Thanks!

All 4 pools are Stratum. This might be the way CGMiner works, idk. It's a pretty clear pattern that more getworks = fewer accepted, fewer rejected, and more discarded. I just find it odd that the other 3 pools are averaging ~1.2-2 "getworks" per minute, and Ozcoin is ~29 per minute, and somehow that seems to negatively affect the hashrate distribution in CGMiner. Now I will say it again for those who may have missed it, this is NOT an issue when you're mining at just Ozcoin. In fact, it seems as if this would actually help, as it lowers the number of rejects. The only negative effect is that CGMiner just isn't allocating an equal amount of hashrate to Ozcoin when trying to balance, which isn't fair to Ozcoin, IMO.

I've never had "balance" nor "load balance" be very balanced. Although I haven't tried all stratum pools before either. I usually had a getwork pool in the mix too. Since they are all stratum post in the CGMiner thread and see what ckolivas has to say about it. I thought he had done some work on that front recently. This feature will be more valuable with ASIC's. Sam

Any idea on why this is happening? If you're talking about stratum based pools, they all deliver updated transactions/stratum information at different rates. Ozcoin is good to the network by delivering updates every 30 seconds. So consequently it looks like it's doing more getworks and tells you to stop working on work from the previous transaction list (without completely throwing it out like a block change). They're not actually getworks. So I'm guessing it's just that in action. Balance is pretty basic in its approach and I really dont see the point in trying to make some kind of accurate scheduler for work submission that would then try to decide if a pool's down how to bias its results and so on... EDIT: Oh and different diffs maybe!?

Ozcoin isn't delivering updates every 30 seconds, it's delivering ~30 updates a minute (about every 2 seconds). I'm closing in on almost 20,000 updates after only ~10.5 hours. And yes, all 4 pools were diff=1. I understand that balance isn't really a priority, but thanks for chiming in anyways!

Yes something wrong there... Have you got failover-only enabled as well? Nope. The only thing in my config besides the 4 pool info is as follows: "api-description" : "Crazyates MK802-II CGMiner 3.1.0 BFL", "api-listen" : true, "expiry" : "120", "balance" : true, "log" : "5", "queue" : "1", "scan-time" : "60", "temp-hysteresis" : "3", "kernel-path" : "/usr/local/bin"

Or a least check out the output of verbose +/- debug to see if something else is going on at the cgminer end.
