Using Dual Mining on Claymore 10.0 with Vega 64 cards, Eth+Sia - its only rejecting Sia shares, why is this? Works on RX570, RX580, GTX1060 and GTX1070 without issues, however on Vega 64 not a single one is being accepted...? Any ideas?

Dear Claymore, sorry if this is a repeated question (already 831 pages difficult to read all) This version of your software is for dual mining (having ETH as the base coin). These are the options we can mine using it: Ethereum Ethereum + Decred Ethereum + Siacoin Ethereum + Lbry Ethereum + Pascal Do you have other software specific to mine only one coin (that is none of the above)? For example I would like to use your software to mine EXP, UBQ or other coins. Can I use it? How? Ethereum, EXP, UBIQ use same POW algo, so yes you can use it for those as well. Go and read the first post okay, thanks, I think is this you referring to ( bold text from page 1): FEATURES:
- Supports new "dual mining" mode: mining both Ethereum and Decred/Siacoin/Lbry/Pascal at the same time, with no impact on Ethereum mining speed. Ethereum-only mining mode is supported as well. - Effective Ethereum mining speed is higher by 3-5% because of a completely different miner code - much less invalid and outdated shares, higher GPU load, optimized OpenCL code, optimized assembler kernels. - Supports both AMD and nVidia cards, even mixed. - No DAG files. - Supports all Stratum versions for Ethereum: can be used directly without any proxies with all pools that support eth-proxy, qtminer or miner-proxy. - Supports Ethereum and Siacoin solo mining. - Supports both HTTP and Stratum for Decred. - Supports both HTTP and Stratum for Siacoin. Note: not all Stratum versions are supported currently for Siacoin. - Supports Stratum for Lbry and Pascal. - Supports failover. - Displays detailed mining information and hashrate for every card. - Supports remote monitoring and management. - Supports GPU selection, built-in GPU overclocking features and temperature management. - Supports Ethereum forks (Expanse, etc). - Windows and Linux versions.

Guys, is there a easy way how to identify which GPU is which? (like having and GPU3 hang-out but have no clue what card is it out of 8 cards!) Is MSI AB numbering 1-8 equal to Claymore's 0-7 ? AB1 = gpu0? , ab2= gpu1 I'm using simple method of increasing fan speed to 100% in AB to identify the cards but still not sure if this is the right way thank you

I got a problem with my rig, at about 15 - 120 minutes mining, it will freeze / hang (default or overclocked same result), i need to get a hard restart for that. My Rig: Processor : Intel Core i3 6100 @ 3.70GHz Motherboard : ASRock H270 Performance (CPUSocket) RAM : Corsair DDR4 4GB 2133mhz OS : Windows 10 Pro 64-bit GPU : 6 x Gigabyte GTX 1070 Windforce 8GB SSD : Kingston HyperX Fury 120GB PSU : Corsair RM1000x 80+ Gold Stabilizer : Prolink PVR2000D All drivers are up to date (OS , GPU, BIOS) what could be the cause of this problem? any recommendations what should i do? Thanks in advance Power...try with 5 cards (remove connectors from one ) okay i'll try that, but i got power meter, it shows 800-850 watt wouldn't it be enough for 1000w psu? Nvidia draw in bursts ( too fast for PM ) so maybe your psu has not enough "juice"

Hi guys, Sorry if this ends up a totally noob question, but I just can grasp what's going on. I started using Claymore's miner 10.0, mining only ethereum on ethermine.org. The machine has 3x rx570 4gb and 1x rx470 4gb. Everything was going fine, and it actually increased my average hashrate from 67Mh to 78Mh (reported around 83) But then, all of a sudden, after 3 or 4 days of great use, the thing started lagging substantially. To the point of dropping connection and verry chopy hashrate chart in ethermine. A few times, I even had to hard reset the rig, because I couldn't access it via teamviewer. I tried mining with -ethi 4, and it kind of works, but hashrate is shit, and it still isn't no where near as stable as before on standard ethi setting. What can I do to get my hashrates back?

Hi Claymore ( or Anyone) Im trying to use your api to automatic turn on>off dual mining at hot times during daytime When i send getstat1 command, Using echo '{"id":0,"jsonrpc":"2.0","method":"miner_getstat1"}' | MYIP MYPORT I get the response with full statics ( IT WORKS FINE) But When i try to disable>enable Dual mining Using control_gpu Disable echo '{"id":0,"jsonrpc":"2.0","method":"control_gpu", "params":[-1, 1]}' | netcat MYIP MYPORT Enable echo '{"id":0,"jsonrpc":"2.0","method":"control_gpu", "params":[-1, 2]}' | netcat MYIP MYPORT I get no response, and the gpus did not change the mining state, ( NOT WORKING =[ ) Im Doing something wrong? Im using claymore 10.0 on linux Btw Thanks in Advance

You initial hashrate is not very good you should be getting 28+ per card so well over 100mhs How much memory does your system have How big is your PSU Did you set 16 gig minimum of virtual memory What is your operating system win 7/ win 10 Not enough information here to go on

Claymore, why you not invest more time in NVIDIA dual mining for example, lot of people moved to NVIDIA, not still 90% are on AMD ... I think 1070 is very powerfull card and can give much more than RX 580 in dual DCR/SIA ... Also (you probably allready write, someone must asked before but lazy to find in so much pages) why your ZEC miner can't mine dual too? Because on 1070 ZEC is now most profitable.

Maybe someone can offer some advice.
I have 6 GPUs 2x 480 and 4x 580 in a rig. They work great under the official Relive drivers. When I install the 8/23 blockchain drivers, the installer reboots in the middle of installation, and I never get to the skip relive screen. I am using DDU in safe mode to uninstall. I tried installing the drivers with only one card in the rig, and the install completes fine. When I add cards one at a time, all is good till the 6th card. Windows crashes when discovering/installing drivers for the 6th card. Doesn't matter if the 6th card is a 480 or 580. After the crash, only 4 or 5 cards are seen by windows.
Has anyone else experienced this? Any tips?
Windows 10 64 bit DDU safe mode uninstall August 23 blockchain drivers atikmdag-patcher Claymore 10.0
Thanks!

Nvidia cards don't do well dual mining, not sure technically why. ZEC can't be dual mined, it is compute AND memory intensive. Even 1080 TI is affected by GPU clocks while mining ZEC.

Is anyone running GTX 1070s and experiencing wild variations in hash rates second by second? Full speed hash rate is just over 30 Mh/s but I'm seeing it swing between 19, 24, and 30 continuously. It was more stable before, not sure what changed. It's only 51C so it's not throttling due to temperature.
What memory? What settings OC and Powerslide? 8GB. 90% power limit, +500 memory OC, -100 core underclock. I've been running with these settings for almost two months but suddenly in the last day or so it's thrashing the hash rate. Tried multiple miners (NiceHash and Claymore 10) and both do the same thing. I'll reboot tomorrow when I have time to monitor it. Deleted

So, Seeing that this problem is not specific to me, I will post quotes from various users with same problems so @Claymore can identify that indeed a problem exists. So I have been using the latest Claymore version since it came out. My rig: ASUZ Prime Z270-P 8x RX 580 8GB Nitro+ (Hynix) Windows 10 Blockchain Beta Official Drivers Claymore Dual Miner v.10.0 Modded BIOS, OC through Claymore @162w from the wall per card Dual mining ETH (233 Mh/s) +DCR (7000 Mh/s) I am overall happy with the new update, but I have had some issues: - Sometimes miner can't reach maximum speed. I open the miner, clocks and voltages are being set properly but hashrate lies in the 225mh/s area. A simple miner restart resolves the issue
- Computer freezes. This has happened 2 times in my rig and 1 time in my PC (same setup with 1 gpu only) in the last 2 days. Here is the last part of the log @Claymore in case you find something interesting here
Yes, it's working. But freezes happens. Not so stable, even if mem errors in HWInfo are zeroes.
Hi guys, Sorry if this ends up a totally noob question, but I just can grasp what's going on. I started using Claymore's miner 10.0, mining only ethereum on ethermine.org. That is exactly what I am seeing with my GTX 1070. It bounces around continuously. @Claymore, thank you for your last response: Try to set original ROM, remove overclock and see if it helps, this way you can check that the reason is in your settings. If your rig freezes, it must be something related to overclock, like wrong voltage for some power states, or something similar. It is not miner issue.
My answer to that was: I didn't get the chance to set original ROM but I did remove overclock. Not only it didn't help but it got worse! In fact, while I was trying different OC settings I noticed that the lower I was setting my clocks, the more unstable my rig became.
My rig usually freezes after a GPU hangs or after a share gets rejected. The clocks I am using and the ROM I am using have been stable for months now with previous drivers and miner version
One more thing I have noticed is that after a rig restart (following a freeze) the miner starts, the clocks and voltages are being set normally but I get~ 3.5% less performance than usual. Once I restart the miner it gets back at 100%. Does anyone else have the same issue?
What I believe all of us with the same problem would love to hear from you is that you are aware of the problem and checking it out. Don't let us abandon hope! I am at the point of 5+ miner restarts per day... Edit:More quotes from people with similar problems hereEdit 2:More quotes from people with similar problems and more data on the freeze scenario hereEdit 3:More quotes from people with similar problems and possible solution hereEdit 4:Hopefully my last post on that issue, with my conclusion and proposed solution, here

I haven't checked but if you do, as suggested above, disable GPU 3 will it not show in AB which card has shut down (clock speeds will be at idle speed), so you should be able to see if Claymore & AB number systems match.
