Did you download the latest Blockchain Drivers?  V15.2 may not work with Vega unless latest drivers are installed.  Look on AMD site for latest drivers

I'm using the ROCm kernel. When I download & install the 17.30 driver it just says no opencl...
wow being a new member here really is a pain the ass, telling me i cant post for 360 seconds because I made a recent post, even when I didnt

Claymore does not support ROCm - therefore he doesn't support Vega on *nix.
Thanks for the info. Those Vegas really seem hard to be tamed on linux atm...if not i possible (AMD hurry up)
Yet to find a miner that works on Linux with ROCm and/or 17.30, too bad those Vegas are just getting dusty in the corner right now, not gonna bother trying to get 3 or max 4 cards running on windows blockchain driver
It is going to be like being a kid on christmas morning when I can finally plug in my vega rigs and just let them chug away leaning back and sipping on a margarita... Cheesy

-cvddc and -mvddc works very strange with latest AMD Blockchain drivers.

Hi after a clean installation of Windows + drivers the very first run with -cvddc and -mvddc seems to be working well with three cards of RX 570. But when I restart Claymore, the -cvddc and -mvddc parameters applied to the first card only. Any idea why is it so?

Kind regards
Wolfen

I just updated to 17.9.3 yesterday.  Seems fine, but suggest you try it on a lesser important rig (if you have such an animal).  I am using win10 usb on one rig & win 10 home on another.  Both appear stable.  Haven't tried to overclock or undervolt yet.  Rigs a bit busy.

Hey guys I have two mining rigs with 4xx 5xx and both have the same problem. Both running with claymore 10 and the new blockchain drivers
Low undervolting and little oc
They are running for 1 - 2 days and suddenly they are rebooting without any hint in the log files, why this is happening.

Has anyone similar issues. Can anyone help me?
Before the blockchain driver with and older claymore version it worked fine for month....

Man, I'm so glad I'm not the only one having issues with Vega cards and linux! All weekend I've been messing with a Vega 56 and Xbuntu 16.04 64bit and had errors from Claymore's Miner saying no OpenCL GPU found. Tried installing only the openCL drivers from amdgpu-pro and ROCm. I've read that the Catalyst 15.2 drivers have been discontinued for newer cards and we are forced to use amdgpu-pro. I guess our only chance of using these cards with linux is if Claymore wants to support ROCm or if AMD somehow updates the amdgpu-pro drivers to be backwards compatible with Catalyst dependent programs. For now, our only other option is to use Windows...

running Saffire 470 Nitro's
getting about 25.5mhs after modding
memory clock over 1750 really makes no difference   is this normal on some cards?  asic score is about 75-76 for all of them
they are undervolted in Claymore at 900

I'm afraid that even after 20 years when I become old and ill there will be people asking why their ethereum hashrate doesn't grow with their memory overclock with stock bios )))

somewhat frustrating...
I hope somebody managed to get it running and can share it with us very soon (looking mainly to get it running on xmr stak) but I tried ETH miner too and saw that its not working as well.

Original Genoil opencl miner should run fine in linux and with good speed if you will make it run with 2 threads per card. Also you should try sgminer from Wolf with opensource eth kernel.

I really wait for it too, but my card is 1060 3gb. And it sucks in all mining coins. Only ZEC is good.

they are undervolted in Claymore at 900

1. Turn up memory clock up to a point where you crash. Then dial it back down. Profit.
2. Turn down core clock up to a point that it starts to affect your hash rate. Then dial it back up. Profit.
3. Adjust core voltage to 900, then 875, then 850 if its still stable. Profit.

These three things you need to memorize to get...

...you guessed it, Profit!  Grin

I build and sell rigs! I also sell ssd clones of the most stable Windows+Claymore+AMD driver combo you'd ever used.

Sorry if this was asked before.

Is it possible to show HW (hardware errors), like it is in sgminer?

the number of miners is growing every day and new players do not read forums they want results here and now and profit in 1 month... busy with a map to draw out every day is a new profit from settings memory clock, core clock, core voltage it remained in the spirits of manerov past years

Hello guys, i have this problem, when i start the miner the speed is 29.5, but after 20-30sec my speed drop about 24-25 and i can't increase ..... Please someone help me. My card is Sapphire 580 nitro+ 4gb Elpida memory

You should decrese your memory clock. had the same problem, with my 5*580 Rig. Now is stable around 13h.  Try decrese memclock and you will need check HWInfo memory errors.  had a lot of it.

This is happened only with my Asus Dual 8GB with samsung memory. When i wrote UberMix Timing - very unstable at just 2000MHz , much memory errors. Then, i copied 1750 to 2000, that more stable, but ..... Then, i decresed mem clock card by card.

-cvddc 825,825,850,825,825 -cclock 1146,1146,1146,1146,1146 -mclock 2010,2040,1930,1990,1930

1,2 - Armor with uber mix.
3,4,5 - Dual with 1750.

All of these  - ETH =142MHz with DCR = 4550MHz.
