Dear Claymore! Smiley
Is it possible to add to remote monitor possibility to understand computer's names instead of IP?
It will be usefull for many admins.
For example, I have to control about 140 rigs. Time to time, IP-adresses of rigs are changed by DHCP.
So, 1 or 2 times a  week I need to reconfigure remote monitoring.   Shocked
It's really terrible job!  Roll Eyes

Thank you in advance!

ever heard of static ips? you can easily fix this issue yourself

Hello,
I use the 470 (modded Bios - Timings / VCC Offset) with claymore 9.7 i get 27,5 MHS before the DAG file Problem.
now i get with Claymore 10.1 only 24,5 MHS - with the lattest driver and with the driver von 23.8 -> what driver do you use for BIOS modded AMD GPUS (Driversetting) to get again the 27,5 MHS?

Hi there

How to set core and memory clock in linux? I think it's not working. I have "./ethdcrminer64 -cclock 1200 -mclock 2000 (...)" in start.bash and I am getting only 11.8 Mh/s with a Radeon 560, which is comparable to default clocks in windows (got 13.3 with 1200 core / 2000 memory)

Then again, I copied into a script
Quote
#!/bin/bash
while true; do
    cat /sys/kernel/debug/dri/0/amdgpu_pm_info;
   sleep 5;
done

And I see core 1300 Mhz and memory 1750 Mhz....

How to change core and mem clock?

Thanks.

RAVE 500w aps-rv500-p01 . Input 200-240vac 4a 47-53HZ
Your PSU is a consumer grade AeroCool with 80 Plus efficiency and narrow input voltage range. Never liked AeroCool.
Provide us details about your GPU type, count and connection scheme - type of risers, power cables configuration, PCI-E cables connection to GPUs.
A simple power outage, when voltage drops from ~230V to 0V in fractions of second should not fry your PSU, while an overvoltage/undervoltage might burn some details and the PSU starts failing under load.
First check all ports for molten contacts. Then visually inspect your risers. If everything looks normally, put back the parts, take a voltmeter and check +12V in idle and under load with 15 min intervals.

I'm using a palit gtx1070 jetstream. Motherboard is biostar tb250-btc pro.
I tried to direct the gpu on the motherboard without using a riser.

I uninstalled then installed the driver and here is the thing it would run smoothly both at default and at oc settings.  But the problem is when I shut it down or there is a power outage because when I turn it on again, the miner would crash after one hour and I had to do the same thing over again.

Hi. Can anyone tell me if Claymore has a miner that can mine scrypt algorithm .. or Claymore, do you consider making one ? Thanks.
GPU miners for Scrypt algorithm exist:
ccminer for nVidia (CUDA)
sgminer for AMD
GPU mining on Scrypt has ceased to be economically viable when Scrypt ASICs appeared. First Gridseed ASICs were 400-600 kH/s, on par with mid-end GPUs of that time (2013-2014). Nowadays, typical Scrypt ASICs deliver from 100 to 600 MH/s, 1000x times in performance and 10x in energy efficiency more that first ASICs (Gridseed used 10-15W for 500 kH/s > 50 kH/W and Bitmain L3 uses 800W for 500 MH/s > 625 kH/w).
There exist Scrypt-N and NeoScrypt algorithms, that are ASIC resistant ATM and suitable for GPU mining.

Thank you.

I'm new to mining, I have one rig running 6 rx580s. I noticed restarts caused by the devfee being unreachable. I added the nofee switch and mined for 24 hrs nonstop. I'm using simplemining and these are my current settings:

-wd 1 -r 1 -epool stratum+tcp://eth-us.dwarfpool.com:8008 -ewal $walletETH/$rigName -esm 0 -epsw x -allpools 1 -mport -3333 -asm 1 -mode 1

It's trying to go to us1.ethermine.org and can't get there.

Is there something I missed?

Have you enabled Compute Workload?
AMD Radeon Settings>Gaming>Global Settings>GPU Workload - Compute.

It's trying to go to us1.ethermine.org and can't get there.
Try to ping and tracert all Ethermine servers, maybe your firewall or your network gateway does not allow it, if you are connected to a dorm/neighborhood LAN network.

The GPU stays installed directly on the MB, you shut down the rig, power it up and miner still crashes after 1 hour of load?

Hi there I started using Claymore's v10.1 yesterday, since then my hash rate has remained the same
but stale shares have trippled.I started with the same settings I used with v10.0 and have tried tweaking
GPU settings and the like but my stale shares are still tripple that of v10.0. Has anyone else come across this issue?
Should/Can I just use v10.0 instead?

This is not a solution, because owner of the network wan't to use static IPs for some reason.
In any case, using names like Rig1...Rig12_withRX  is more understandable that 192.168.1.2.....192.168.175  Wink
I hope, resolving names in monitor can give some extra time of life for admins, not only for me   Smiley

It pings fine. However, there is a couple of timeouts during tracert - one between my firewall and my ISP, and one somewhere en route.

Hi everyone, I have this error with Nanopool while mining ETH. What does it mean and how can I fix it? Ver. 10.1

Code:
Miner detected that you use local pool or local stratum proxy.
This mode is not currently supported and will cause more stale shares.

Thanks

Is anyone dual mining ether and decred.
I have some 1070's I like to try this with.
Can anyone help with the script file?
Also anyone with a script file that can help in times of errors thrown by GPU malfunction / restarting, getting 0 hash rates, some way to automatically restart the miner if there is an issue?

I've noticed the same problem on Clay 10.1, even more than 20% of stale shares with Ethermine eu1.

Rebooting everyday...

I've seen the same, switched to eu2.ethermine.org, and has been fine for last 3 weeks, been getting between 2-5% stale.

Then suddenly it shot up to 15-20% Stale, so switched to us1.ethermine.org, seems to be stable for last 48 hours, back to 3% stale.

Hey guys,
(How) Can I set up Claymore miner to use only certain GPU's?
For example I want to use GPU0 for gaming, while GPU1 and GPU2 will be mining.
