Hi, I would like to request to be a member. I have made my 5 post minimum and I am not a spammer. I have spent a long time on the forums already and have just decided to register recently. Thanks!

Heya,

I've spend a good time on these (and other) forums, accumulating some good background knowledge, I'd say... don't really have massive GPUs at hand to do crazy-scaled mining, but I'm still very interested in the concept of Bitcoin, and the possibilities, so I felt I'll create an account and offer some of my shit for bitcoins in the market forums - only to find out at the terms of service that I should've registred a few weeks back to be able to immediately. I don't think anyone would gain anything from me doing four spam posts that aren't really asked for, or me sitting on the frontpage and clicking the refresh button for three more hours... so yeah, please whitelist me in the interest of everyone? ^^

I am not a newbie, but I setup a new account to provide better identification.  I posted it the business section, but figured I should post here as well.

The initial beta release of BitcoinLocator will be going live in only a few hours.  We'll wait until I'm out of the Newbie area so I can announce it wide.  So here I am making posts, and burning time to get full access.

Watch out for the upcoming announcement.

Can you please give mury44 whitelist access. He is my friend and is helping me with LinuxCoin. He needs access so he can ask questions about Scripting.

 Thank You,

Sebdude420

I can't find the user you are referring to...

OG Bitcoin Miner turned Proof of Stake Validator.
Maxed out Raspberry Pi 4 8GB at 120$ a Day Revenue with ~15K XTZ Bonds in Summer of 2021.
Looking at Proof of Stake systems all across the crypto ecosystem to expand operations.

Hi, I figured out the reason I can't post here. I've been mostly reading and done so anonymously (without logging in) because I've been mostly reading the russian section through google translate, which does not pass authentication information. I have some first-hand experience about the btcex.com scam and would like to discuss it with fellow victims too.

Story in brief:
 - I found out about bitcoins in mid 2010
 - I installed the software, got my first bitcoins via the faucet
 - I tried some mining, but with little gain
 - I studied different exchanges available
 - I found out btcex.com was amongst the few who accepted EUR directly, which is the primary currency I have deposits in.
 - Exchanged some money at btcex.com
 - Watched it grow in value
 - Site goes down at May 1:st with a link to a topic on this forum (in russian, which I don't speak nor read, so google translate was neccessary)
 - I emailed their support and they replied everything is fine and the site will soon be up again
 - It opened up on June 1:st (or something like that) with 4/5:th of the BTC account balance for each and every user gone. (Only 1/5:th left, so if one had 160BTC, 32BTC was left in the account)
 - No replies from them, just some bad excuses at this forum from the guy responsible (bitcoinex)
 - Watching BTC peak and fall with nothing to trade and most confidence in exchanges lost.
 - Next: probably some legal action or something else to make sure he's not scamming more people.

I've been lurking here for a while, but never posted and rarely log in. I used this forum extensively when setting up my bitcoin miner. I currently run a machine with 2 cards, 5770 and 6870. I used poclbm in the begging, then moved onto phoenix and was very happy until I discovered hashkill which in my opinion is the best GPU miner available.

I'd like to be whitelisted because I'm trying to spend some of my BTC in the marketplace in order to get some new mining gear  Grin

Ok, thanks!

it would be sick if the moderators did their jobs and allowed people to post to other forums. I posted here days ago. If you are going to impose such a system you need to be on top of things.

Hi, I'd like to climb beyond the ranks of newbie. I'm a software developer and would like to start talking in the other forums about some tools I've written for monitoring bitcoin exchanges.

I'd like to be able to post replys outside in order to help improving the Mt. Gox WebSocket API since I'm an interested Java Programmer.
I have over-average knowledge about the Bitcoin system and I'm an active trader. I've spent much time on youtube to build up my opinion about bitcoins and get some knowledge.

I'd like to be whitelisted because I'm an online merchant interested in being able to integrate Bitcoins as an option in my payment gateway. That, and all the cool kids are whitelisting me.  And you do want to be cool, don't you?

Hi there,

I'll just do the 4 hours and 5 posts to get out of here, and do some reading other topics meanwhile.

I would like to be able to post something on Slush's thread http://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1976.0

I am having an issue with my account on his pool, and the "help" option on his website points to that topic.  I can't post anything to ask for help because I'm still a newbie.

Help please!

I would like to be white listed so that I can post on the thread: https://forum.bitcoin.org/index.php?topic=30476.0
As I am currently a software engineer at Freelancer.com and have some insight to provide on this topic.

You can see my website at the domain listed on my e-mail address for assurance.

Thanks!  Cheesy
