I've lurked here and kept up on market fluctuations (via BitcoinCharts.com) for the last few months, trying deciding whether or not to take the plunge into the Bitcoin market. I've done a few days of mining on my lowly Radeon HD 4850 (embarrassing MHash/s rate) and very much due for an upgrade. I have an IRL friend that's heavily into mining and we've had several discussions about his success and the possibility of building my own mining rig. I'm a web developer and programmer and may contribute some of my time and skills to develop Bitcoin-based tools. I'm primarily looking to be whitelisted to communicate with another forum member in his thread about my upcoming purchase of his goods. Otherwise, I plan to continue lurking unless I have something of value to post.

I'd like to be white listed. I've been mining bitcoins for a few months and am interested in them for trading and purchasing of tradable commodities. I've primarily lurked around the forums gather information as I need it, but I'm now interested in building some relationships within the Bitcoin community and contribute to the health of the marketplace.

Hi, I'd like to be whitelisted, I've been lurking at these forums for about three weeks, mining on slush's pool for a while with my HD 6870 (300 MH/s) and mining a bit of solidcoin as well. Thanks.

I'd like to get out of here; I have followed various threads in the speculation, goods, mining software, mining hardware, and other sections over the past 6 weeks or so. Probably longer, actually, but I've been mining for about 6 weeks. I would like to be able to participate in convos on here now but 4 hours seems like a while. Reducing trolls with this policy isn't so bad, though, I must admit...

I personally signed up for the site to post a good review on http://www.bitcoinexchange.cc because they provided such excellent service and asked me to do so. I am also interested in learning about the btc market and how to work it to my advantage and I feel like the "newbie" status I currently have is not needed. BTC is basically like the stock market open 24/7 and I love it.

While I can tolerate waiting the 4 hours of logged in time, it would be nice to be able to take part in discussions in other subforums.
I'm an ex miner (I had 12 58xx's heating up my room for 9 months) but sold them to a fellow miner a week or so ago (for a good price I might add). I still trade in BTC's, lost a few with the mybitcoin scam (yes, I think Tom is scamming everyone. Same scam as what happened in Eve Online imho).
tl;dr: not a spammer.

I'm dying to get out there and hop in on some of the threads on this board - I'd love to get out here, but I don't have enough posts.
I love disruptive technologies, that's what brought me to BitCoin in the first place. Alas, it also brings trolls, spammers, government or corporate wrath, etc.
So, I post, and wait.
:: sigh ::

Hi, should be nice and simple. I'm interested in some dimensions from a frame in this post: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=6128.msg98361#msg98361 made by trentzb. I am trying to make something similar for a new rig and wondered if some info could be shared (was going to pm - but, well, I'm not allowed as of...) Delta

But I had 4 motherboards populated with 3 cards each. It was fun, hot and profitable while it lasted. lol

I'd be grateful if I could be whitelisted. I've been using Bitcoin for a while now and am very interested by the opportunity that the currency presents. I've been learning about it and have been lurking these forums for a while, waiting until I have more knowledge before deciding to join in the discussion.
There are some threads outside of the newbie forum that I am very interested in participating in, so I'd be very grateful if I could be whitelisted so that I can post there.

This is my official request for whitelisting. I know I have nearly 90 minutes of being logged in to go, but I have no reason to remain a mere newbie... please check my other posts, mods. I'm off to do some shopping for my mom (she had surgery a few weeks ago, but is feeling better, thanks for caring in advance). If Imm not whistelisted when I get home, I'll just post some more until my 4 hours are up and head back here. I encourage all newbies (and moderators) to check out my thread on improving the newbie/spam filter process @ https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=39718.0

Hi, I've been mining for a few months and have gotten myself together 2 coins with my humble rig. I want some extra money right now and I saw RylandAlmanza's post looking for 2 coins so I figure even though its paypal he is on the trusted list so I'd like to go for it. Thanks

Please whitelist me. I've done some research on bitcoin ( http://anonymity-in-bitcoin.blogspot.com/ ) which is discussed on these forums, and I'd like to be able to reply on the threads discussing it. For the record, I think putting all the 'newbies' in a 'newbie' forum, and forbidding them to post elsewhere, is a little elitist, and stupid.
