If a mod could whitelist me, that would be great... I don't think you saw my first post.
Hi, I'd like to be whitelisted, I've been lurking at these forums for about three weeks, mining on slush's pool for a while with my HD 6870 (300 MH/s) and mining a bit of solidcoin as well.  Thanks.

Hash: SHA1

Tuxavant is one in the same with the account holder of BitcoinCyberStore.com.

I'd like the Tuxavant account whitelisted from the Newbies group as I found it
impossible to rename my BitcoinCyberStore account to Tuxavant and I'd rather
participate under my normal pseudonym.

Thanks!

Unfortunately i couldnt do that yet, so i have to wait for now Sad

Hello there,

I have had this account for quite some time now but never had the necessity to use it before. I am having a problem with bitcoin2cash (more than $400 on withdrawals have never reached my mailbox) and as such, I would like to post on the marketplace where bitcoin2cash operator is interacting with people, since he is stating that all bitcoins are safe, but I want to talk to him about withdrawal history and whether he has kept that, otherwise, even if my bitcoins are returned, I will loose the trade value of what I did which was significant and very good.

Anyways, I hope you can whitelist me. You can send me right back to newbie if you wish after I can post on that thread Smiley. I have been a member of the bitcoin community for a long time, including bitcoin-otc, though I have never posted on this forum before.

Thanks!

I don't plan to say much, and I only recently discovered Bitcoin. But I wrote a mining engine, and my post about it is getting a disappointing reception among the drivel of the Newbies forum, so I'd at least like to get it transferred to the mining software forum.

I have been mining bitcoins for a few months now and I am interested in doing some trading on the market forum. I have been reading your forums for a while, but I tend not to register an account, or post on a forum until I have something to say that contributes to conversation.

Looking to post a followup question to this post https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5855.msg423625#msg423625, regarding specifically if anyone can share how they've managed to connect to the mtgox websockets per-account-updates information.

I'd like to be whitelisted, I'm a newbie who's less interested in the mining side of things so much as marketing bitcoin within communities on a local scale-coming up with ways to get friends who interact in real life to use them (think group marketing a la groupon)

Well... If setting up two headless bitcoin-miners under linux with setups to later run four double gpu cards (atm running two cards in one box) be able to point these around through all this ixcoin, i0coin, solidcoin, i0coin again-crap and being really interested in namecoin because of its features who I think might be able to decentralize and free up the internet even more, if that counts as knowing more about bitcoins and alternate cryptocurrencies then the average newbie, then I suppose you maybe could whitelist me? Otherwise I'll have to post some more around here I suppose.

Edit: Just to add something in my frustration not to be able to reply, I would like to reply to this guy in some fancy easy-to-understand-way that when you are crunching numbers you're just crunching numbers, and these numbers could be the right hash for both the NMC block which contains one type of information and BTC-blocks which contains another type of information, thus being able to check if the hashes you crunch passes as either the BTC-hash or either the NMC-hash you could simply mine them both without loss, atleast minimize it to a low very level .

Quote from: hashman
Thanks for trying to explain, but I still don't get it.  Sorry...     What am I missing please?

A block submitted for solve on the bitcoin network has the hash of the previous block, as well as BTC transactions, and the BTC address of the winning miner, as well as a nonce that was varied endlessly when trying to "solve the block".  To have a valid block you need all these.  Similar for a NMC block.  Right?  Thus, if you are looking for valid BTC blocks, you are looking for BTC blocks which couldn't possibly pass as valid NMC blocks.  I don't see how that could affect NMC in any way either via reward or via helping to secure the network.

Hey! I'd like to get out please Smiley

I'm a postgraduate comp science student with an interest in cryptography, and maybe I'll build a rig for mining soon.
I know a bit about the theory behind peer-to-peer networks, so the concept of a p2p currency is quite alluring to me Smiley
I think I'll mostly do some trading here.

Oh yeah, also I'm bilingual (German and English)

I run and operate http://hashrate.tk. I'd like to be whitelisted so we can properly advertise the pool and help users with issues they may have.

I'd like to be whitelisted because I would like to sell some PokerStars dollars for BTC.

Thank you.
