So what is the average price now of blackbytes with the Blackbytes Escrow Exchange Bot? I'm going to hodl for a long time but I'm still curious, but not so curious that I would join into the invitation.

I saw a guy with byteball signature. Is there a signature campaign running now? If it is old (and ended already), can you post a link please, can't find it. Very curious what the rewards were

How to unlink BTC address from byteball address.
You can't. But you can move your Bitcoins if you no longer wish to participate in free airdrops. Ok thanks, I will move coins and relink in address, have some problem in old wallet.

I'm just using an old signature and edited the text, https://pastebin.com/6Y2J0bYD code taken from https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1679177.0. (PS, no rewards so doing it for free)

I think many of us are still waiting for more details on the cashback program. So far I don't think anyone can really act (recruit merchants, etc) because we don't know how things will work. Also hoping Tony is able to kickstart the program with some initial merchants as well. I agree Byteball is a good long-term hold. I've been asking if anyone knows of another project with chat/bots built into the wallet. On Ethereum there's Status and Toshi apps, but both are still in testing. I think chatbots are the ultimate killer feature! Especially when combined with the way oracles work in Byteball.

I guess I'll swing by there on my next trip to the netherlands. Its time for a trip there anyways Im sure the team has already thought of this...but just in case not, it would be great if there were an overview on the website where the merchants accepting byteball are listed

I agree, definitely need this! I'm always looking for opportunities to use Crypto to get actual physical goods - it's rare enough I can do it with BTC, so would be good to be able to do with with BB or GBB!

I am reading through all 600+ pages and found a partial answer to what I was looking for. Questions: On Windows where exactly is the database kept? [EDIT: found %localappdata%/byteball] Can I move it to my SSD? If so how? I am assuming I can copy it from my HDD to my SSD and change a config file to point to it somehow? Next question: Does running a full wallet help the network? I would like to help the network. What is the best way to do that? I am currently assuming a hub is different from a full wallet. Is that correct? If so, would running a hub help the network? We should really do something about the synch time though. Would it make synch faster if there were more hubs and relays? Do hubs and relays have to have public/static IP addresses?
I tried syncing a full node. It seems that most of the delay is caused by the wallet reading and writing to the local hard drive excessively. I don't know if it is possible to configure sqlite to work with a bigger memory cache or something to cut down on disk access but if so, that should help a lot. ..... I agree completely -my experiences: Core i5-321M @ 2.5 GHz RAM 8 GB hard disk Seagate MomentusWIn 10 64 Bit full Sync Time: >5 days (>120 h)Core i7-5500U @ 2.40 GHz RAM 8 GB SSDWIn 10 64 Bit full Sync Time: 1 day (24 h)SSD => factor 5 fasterOn mobile devices without ssd, the synchronization never ends (e.g. SD memory card). Clear recommendation: The read / write speed of the device is the bottleneck, devices without SSD (or fast HD) should prefer a light wallet. This recommendation must be pointed out during the installation in order to protect the users from frustration.

Hey,
I have a qestion that has probably been answered before, but I can't find it:
Is there a way to transfer Blackbytes from an airgapped machine? My situation looks like this: I decided to airgap one of my laptops and it so happens, that I chose the one containing my byteball airdrop wallet. Yeah, I know, I should have sent them out first… Just forgot. Getting the regular byteballs out there shouldn't be a hassle (I guess copy-pasting the wallet files does the trick), but what about balckbytes? Is there a file somewhere that I can copy-paste as well? From what I gathered, they are somehow "bound to the machine" (I'm sorry, my brain is not exactly up to snuff right now)? Can I somehow generate an offline transaction? Or are they stuck on the machine?
Mind you, it's not that much of a loss right now. My holdings are marginal and the reasons not to connect the laptop atthis point outweight the wish to retreive the blackbytes.
But still, would be nice to have. Any thoughts?
BTW, how would you manage cold storage for them anyway?

If you took a full backup you can restore the blackbytes (and the bytes) on another machine from the backup file. You might be able to take a backup from an offline machine as well, but I'm not sure, never loaded the wallet while offline. If the wallet works offline, you could create a new wallet (please backup before you do this) and generate some cold storage addresses.

You help the network if you run a full node accepting incoming connections. You can do it by running any of this: Headless wallet: https://github.com/byteball/headless-byteball (can send and receive payment) Byteball relay: https://github.com/byteball/byteball-relay (no private keys, the simplest setup) Byteball hub: https://github.com/byteball/byteball-hub (a gate for users but that mean downtimes are not acceptable) All of these rely on Byteballcore library: https://github.com/byteball/byteballcoreYou have to follow the instructions in order to accept incoming connections (you will need to get a SSL certificat and install Nginx as proxy, nothing really difficult)
