Trend is now upwards. I think, it is going to take a fast pump in several days.
What makes you think so?
He doesn't think so. He wants other people to think so.

Or if he does, it's called wishful thinking.

While it has risen considerably I expect it to be back down by tomorrow.

So I'm not the only one to have had problems with getting the blackbytes Sad, I hope they will be fixed though...

If you seem to be missing bytes etc, see http://byteroll.com/airdrop#after

Most likely you done something wrong.

None of that applies to me.  Sad

None of that applies to me either. Addresses are linked correctly, the proof beyond any doubts being that I've got bytes for my BTCs. It's in my wallet history.

why are the most transactions signed by the same witnesses?
so there are 12 people (or nodes from one?) collecting all the transaction fees. What a nice decentralized system!

First of all just because you downloaded full dag dosnt mean you are witness. you need to be manually input by users to their wallet witness list.

Secondly tony is all 12 witness from 15 because there was no witness before and network need to work somehow.

So Tony control the network. That was what i tought. I've deleted the folder. I dont support this. Maybe i come back if this is fixed... but i dont think that this is going to be fixed by Tony because he earn the fees. Just one more scam coin? sad, the concept sounds very nice.

The price per Byteball is nice and all though I am pretty sure that the price of the coin will get even higher since the people that are managing the distribution decided that they want people to have Byteball in order to receive free coins. People should be purchasing Byteball up now, the price of the coin right now won't hold because there won't be that many people trying to sell it before September.

There may be a huge dump when September arrives because people will try to dump that coin right when they get their free Byteball and BlackBytes.

I don't want to say that no one should support byteball. I just say I don't support it how it works now. The concept of byteball is a masterpiece, imho. But I don't have any reason to trust someone I don't know.
And to be honest, why not give away a digital currency, that doesn't cost you anything, as far as you got a few bucks back with every transaction?
And don't tell me that this is a early stage and its going to be more decentralized in future. It runs for nearly one year and it is still centralised.
But maybe you have more to say than "bla bla bla, watch the door"
This is not the way someone with true arguments should speak.
And by the way, I don't support iota... I believe that iota is a thing for big companies.

the price is still holding. I am not sure if he move to extend the airdrop for a long time was good for the price in the longrun but a lower price and longer distribution will put this coin into more peoples hand.

Does any one know if it's possible to link to a new bitcoin address at this point?

I moved the bitcoins out of my linked wallet to access the BCC. Since that exposed the seed to Electron Cash, i don't want to move the BTC back.

When I enter my byteball address to the transition bot, to try and link a BTC account it just replies "Sorry, you are late. See you in the next round." and pretty much anything else gets the "your current bitcoin link is blah blah blah, current balance etc."

Any Thoughts?

rude? what do you expect dude?
you come in here to a 600 plus page thread as a newbie with 6 posts and right off the bat just blurt out "just one more scam coin..." wtf?
you don't trust Tony?  fine... don't participate.

I've barely had the wallet 2 months and Tony has gifted me 1.2 gbytes ($500 value give or take) in 2 airdrops
for 10 minutes of my time it took to simply link my bitcoin.....  Scam coin? I think not.
so yeah...door, ass etc...

I do wish there was a decentralized witness propagation system though.  Gbyte is fast track on development, is truly unique in implementation and spot on for fostering market utility, however, decentralization is the name of the game in crypto.  I stake a few coins and would have no problem running a full node but if it doesn't add utility to the DAG it's pointless.
