Blackbytes just arrived at my wallet. Thanks! Federal Reserve should do this too, not only to their "friends" at banks but to us, 99%-ers too. The world would be much better. But we will make them irrelevant soon anyway. Can't wait to see how the cashback program will play out. Companies like Bitpay would make a big difference. In the meantime Bitcoin is gaining foothold in Japan:

How do I sign more addresses then? I just keep getting this message. Also, I clicked on "RECIEVE"->"GENERATE NEW ADDRESS" and now I have a different address, so im not sure if I control the previous address anymore?
Should I have created a new "Wallet" instead of clicking ""GENERATE NEW ADDRESS"? Did I lose the address that I was supposed to receive the byteballs from?
And what does that message that im getting (the Hello again! one) even mean?
Does this program really expect me to send my entire BTC history into a single address because the program doesn't let you enter multiple different addresses? that sounds like a joke to me.
The bot recognizes you with your device ID which is common for all wallets and addresse but it can't know your different addresses unless you write them in chat. If you want to completely split for privacy, you should install Byteball on an other device. I already tried to write another address in the chat and the bot didn't take it. The bot SHOULD be able to take as many different BTC addresses, so you sign every BTC address into a different byteball recieving address so everything is separated. Honestly the fact that you need to put your entire bitcoin savings into a BTC address because the bot is too dumb to be able to take several BTC addresses is pretty lame. The dev should come up with a solution. Im not moving all of my coins into a single address. I dont know if im doing something wrong or what.. I dont know why you say install Byteball in another device, that solves nothing. u can link as many as you want! i have like 15 addresses linked can anyone tell me how the distribution is made based on the amount we keep of byteballs or free distribution ? and u expect this project to fly in future as i know its dropped from 0.36 btc Kindly tell me i bought yesterdau at 1020 and sold at 1080 in panic lol so need more info so i dont make mistakes

No worries, I was going to reply with a snarky comment but then I realized its possible that there is some small difference. Do you have 2FA enabled? If you do then maybe thats all they need to pin down your identity enough to comply with AML/KYC laws, I dont know the specific regulations in America not being American. Or is your account not "new", mine was created about 3 months back. You can click on settings and it will show your account type. In other news I just got my blackbytes, so thanks to the developers for making byteball the platform and to the users for making it valuable. I just realized too that last distribution I sold some byteball using changelly, I should have just done that.

0.135 already!!! climbing back up fast!!!!
0.126 on CMC now. bittrex is the real value 0.129 0.128 on Bittrex i just wish it goes back to 0.16 atleast! ill break even bought some for the 20% airdrop lol Me too... after I get some. I only got a measly 14K bytes in the last airdrop so I'm really sorry for your temporary loss(es) but I want ByteBall to drop some moar! I need to get my hands on some GBYTEs before the next airdrop, actual GBYTEs this time. 0.132 buy now pump it to 0.16 haha Gosh, I really want to, I really do but I can't, I literally can't. All my weight in crypto now can't afford 1 GB And oh, 0.1311. ByteBall drop!

Yes, no worries the blackbytes will still come, distributing blackbytes is hard work. This takes 2-3 days. The end of the Blackbyte distribution for this round will be announced.

Yes, it's perfectly normal. The distribution is from largest to least so if you're expecting a relatively small number of GBB (like me ~0.000029 GBB) then you're going to have to wait your turn. You should join the slack group, they just posted this: michail1 - I am confirming that accounts receiving less than 12GBB have not happened yet.

The new distribution key and its effect (I am satisfied with it. It is useful to slowly reduce unhealthy incentives). ..
This is great projection but please after next airdrop take in consideration cashback and all merchants. that can make this calculation completely different. Also to be on safe side i would say we will see no more than 4 drops. but this should confirm after next airdrop. You were right, I had overlooked. It's a pretty blurred model. The really interesting is the last line .. But I think it's possible to estimate that the influence of the new distribution channel will initially be homoeopathic. It is unlikely that Jeffrey Bezos, Jack Ma or Meg Whitman will be involved (You never know)... ..the future will show

Pretty impressed with how soon the price has started climbing back up, I thought the post airdrop dump would last for a couple of weeks at the very least - especially since it is the last one for the Bitcoin whales.

@MirkoIta
They give you the option to give them all the identity information and say that if they cannot verify that then you can verify with a phone number to get a basic account. I extrapolated from that that 2FA could result in being identified but I dont know. It does seem better to me to just verify with an SMS than all the other details. Not sure if you can skip strait to the phone verification but I dont see why not.
Again my main issue with all of this is not that verification is required. My issue is the way in which they have done it. People should have been given an email or notification on login for the change of policy. It should not be something they would have to actively look up each time they use the system or in the case of polo something that could change even while they are using the system according to their new terms of service.
Personally I would prefer if none of this was required and will direct my business towards exchanges that exist in regulatory jurisdictions where it isnt wherever possible but I cant blame exchanges that would otherwise get shut down for complying with the demands of regulators, only for how they go about it where they do have choice.

I've created an asset based on Byteball, very cool and very easy, except that the name of the asset MUST me a hash, which makes it quite useless for most of the uses. Is there any plan to improve this feature and to add the functionality of chosing a name for a created asset?
