The price will remain the same until a whale buys a huge amount. The price is controlled by an army of bots.

You guy coins, bots sell. You sell your coins, bots buy.

If half of the people that whine and spam "why dump, why no moon? when polo?" would do something constructive, this coin would be in top 3 crypto this year but until the distribution is over, all we got is a very small team of quality people who work on the coin / marketing / wiki / bug fix/reports and thousands of freeloader parasites who are doing nothing but dump and whine. After the distribution ends, you will see real users (especially after vendors start accepting it with this cashback feature), more contributors and a bunch of FUDers who didn't find this coin early enough to get free coins, those will FUD the shit out of this thread obviously. Can't wait  Grin

Nice change to the distribution, this will stabilize the price since there won't be that much free, instant dumpable coins.

I just got my blackbytes, I didn't realize I was entitled to some. I just claimed GBs with the transition bot.

do you guys think the price will pump or just keep falling before the next drop?

It will go up over the next months and hopefully in the long run.
But in short term you shouldn't expect any big explosive upwards movements.Distribution got extremely decreased for future rounds, however it isn't over yet. A few more months to come.We will probably continue moving around the 300-500USD range or 0.1 to .02 BTC.

BlackBytes received.

One question: if there´s no miners, who earns the transaction fee?

That´s a cool project. The more I read the more I like it. I see the marketcap going x5 within this year. The only thing I don´t get is why list prices in Gigas instead of Megas. Newbies seeing 400USD a coin can perceive it as expensive. 0.4 a coin is easier to promotion.

Is there some way to address it? What thinks Tony about this question?

Tx fees are split:
Quote
The fees are collected partially by those who are first to reference your transaction as parent and partially by witnesses.  The former incentivizes referencing the most recent transactions as parents, which results in the DAG growing in one direction only, like the trunk of a tree, and being as narrow as network latency permits.  If new transactions are rare enough, such that all nodes have enough time to sync before a new transaction appears, the DAG will look almost like a chain, with only occasional forks and quick merges.
I think 50/50

re: MB v. GB, it's been discussed ad nauseum in this thread, and I doubt it will change on exchanges. You can set it to show as whatever you want in your wallet tho.

I completely agree! I can't but figure a very bright future for Byteball. I guess soon more people will build more applications on top of Byteball.

If this merchant system on byteball works out, byteball will really have a nice demand for sure, due to more demand for new users, also because of the new rule of distribution.

Have a lot of Black Bytes to sell if anyone here is interested. Can't figure out the slack trading so not able to sell there.
Have done a lot of deals on this board and can provide references.
Accept Byteballs and BTC, will not sell less than 10 Giga Black Bytes per deal. Please PM me to discuss.

Byteballs you hold will not get that much more new byteballs per distribution either!!
It was extremely reduced in general. From now on using byteballs gets more rewarded than holding it.
And when you linked your BTC adresses pretty early and had some significant amount of BTC you still got enough gbyte to play with on the market.

I recently got this error on my android device:

Quote
Javascript error: Uncaught Error: null value in {"address":null,"blinding":null}

If I click on ok (only choice) the app closes itself. If I restart the app it just says "Starting the engines..." forever. I can't do anything but swipping between my Byte and Blackbyte balance.

Can someone help me?

I've tried to uninstall the app and reinstall it, but this doesn't change anything. Also, after this reinstallation the app shows the same balance and also the same wallet than before.... Not really an uninstallation IMHO.

Is there a way to delete the Byteball files without root?
Since I have a multidevice-wallet I can send my bytes to the new wallet from another device.
