I've read few past pages, but didn't see any info. Is there any info about how many aidrop events there will be? Something like 5-8? It's really important for investors who are thinking about byteball purchase right now (they will get some extra profit every month Smiley )

It is still to be determined, because airdrop volumes depend on how many BTC and GBYTE is linked using the transition bot. There have already been 8 rounds, about 1 every month (every full moon), and there will be a few more, at the current coverage the bot, I would expect 4, maybe 5 more rounds before it's complete.

Thanks for your answer! I'm surprised dev didn't set lower BTC ratio earlier. We had some crazy last rounds with record BTC amounts linked...

My question remains: Once I have several wallets, this number right here (the one that says 100,000 bytes) shows only the holdings of the selected wallet
how do I check the total amount of GB and blackbytes on all wallets?
GB you can check in http://explorer.byteball.org/, for blackbytes you'll need to check each individual wallet. And, after receiving them, you'll need to create a new backup.

Quote
also is there a limit of wallets you can create? (hopefully not..?)
No.

But since you're into privacy for 60 different addresses: how would you ever use the bytes? Sending them to the same address once again links them together.

Why would I send them to the same address? I will request different addresses and make different deposits and different times. This is what everyone in BTC does for example when depositing in an exchange, you want to use an exchange that allows you to have different addresses for deposits.

About seeing the total holdings... I can't check it on the software itself? that's pretty dumb.

I keep on recommending this projects to my friends, more then most other projects. Unfortunately most don't take it seriously because of the name (yeah, I know it’s stupid… but these are some serious investors). I hope the project will undergo a rebrand to maximize it's well deserved mass adoption. For a successful rebrand example look at NEO, formally known as Antshares.

Of course you can, but you'll need to check all your wallets one by one.

Unfortunately most don't take it seriously because of the name (yeah, I know it’s stupid… but these are some serious investors).
When I mention "Byte balls" to someone, it gives very weird responses indeed. Calling them "GBYTE" is also confusing, as it's a standard term related to computers.
I understand why the name was chosen though.

But what's pretty stupid is that you need to get your calculator out and sum all the different wallets... why can't the software show me the total amount of all wallets? I dont want to be needing to sum everything everytime I receive payments... don't you see that it is pretty dumb? just show me the total holdings..

Even current price are painful but I do think as we will be nearer to next distribution market will react very positive. I expect other type of trend different than previous times. Now benefit is in holding of directly byteballs. This project is very young even distribution didn't complete so give it time to mature and everyone will be happy with results in future.

Just explain that "ball" stands for snowball effect, and it's related to the technology.

I have been watching these for a little while, and am considering coming in. I haven't made the jump to buy any though due to the crazy volatility. Might reconsider soon though, but there is a lot of competition for my limited crypto deposits every other week.

Talk to your "serious investors" the time with boring names is over!
The future will be ruled from nerds and companies with names like:

facebook
ebay
apple
amazon

all these names sound really stupid, if you ask me ... Smiley

When I try to send Blackbytes from my Android wallet it says Syncing forever without sending any.

Is it a known issue?

I have seen this when trying to send all blackbytes.   Meaning, it is made up of a lot of 'messages'.   Try sending a smaller amount.

It is an issue known to me. I'm having big trouble with blackbytes, one of my multisig wallets is trying to sync forever and doesn't show blackbytes at all and I have stopped to receive the airdropped blackbytes, with address correctly linked. I guess the blackbytes mechanism have still bugs to be addressed.

Byteball technology is pretty similar to IOTA. So at current valuation, it is way undervalue. This project should be at least at top 20 on coinmarketcap. So buy it while it's cheap. Don't miss out!

New and better tech is always welcome. As long as it gets picked up by someone to popularize it, if it works it will succeed. Since recently i`ve been eyeballing the project and considering hopping in on board. Looking forward to price development to plan my entry point.
