Hi,

just to know: who could tell me the hashrate for 7850 and r9 270 not overclocked and undervolted.

Since Version 8.0 i'am thinking about to switch my rigs from ethos (ethereum) to W 7 64-Bit and claymore (zcash)

thx

r7 370 currently 110h/s stock 985mhz core.
7850 is the same? r7 265 too.... right now i'm confused (thanks amd)

Let's mak it more easy:

r7 370 is a rebranded r7 265... r7 265 is a rebranded HD 7850.... TDP 110w, doing 110H/s (Trinidad / Pitcairn pro)
r7 370x is a rebranded r9 270x... r9 270x is a rebranded HD 7870 XT... TDP 150-180w, doing a bit less than 110H/s. (Trinidad xt, Pitcairn XT)

Why a r7 370 (7850) beats a 270x? I don't know... theyre the same "chip" in different editions (pro vs xt)...somehow it does, thanks to the drivers, and AMD.

note: R7 265 overclocks like a motherf*cker. It's one of the weirdest cards AMD has ever made

thx but as far as i know ist a R7 265 a rebranded HD 7850 and a r7 370 a rebranded r 9 270 (without x)

so R7 370 = R9 270 = 110 H/s
so R7 265 = HD7850 = 92 H/s    ??

have a nice day

Could you test your HD 7850 at stock speed (860mhz core?) and tell me what's the hashrate?
Happy mining, currently ZEC (and for the last weeks) is being more pofitable than eth, better point your rigs to a zec pool.
(If you want to hodl eth, exchange zec for it)

I have only one HD7850 with 860mhz the other 4 cards have 1000mhz. i will do an dual boot next week (different disk) with W7 64... so i can switch from ethereum to zec just switching the disk......than i will tell you Wink

at 860mhz it gets 90h/s
at 1050 it gets 105h/s

thanks for the info adaseb.

Maybe at 860-900mhz core and 1425 mems it could stay at 100h/s
(1425mhz mem is from the classic r7 265)

I'm trying to find the best power efficiency / hashrate

my undervolted sapphire r9 270 are doing 115 - 120 sols on win7 at 490 - 500 watts from wall,  very nice. I have to use 6xGPUmod to recognize all 5 cards.

I can't see the GPU temperature and FAN speed in Claymore (not just in v8, in older versions too). I also can't see or set any parameters in WattTool (and only see the GPU temperature and is jumping randomly between 0C and 1924761C). What could be the problem?

I use WIN 10, Catalyst 16.10.3, I have 6*RX470 and 6*RX480 rig, I get the same problem.
This is because RX4x0 cards need at least one monitor connected to the rig. You can use an hdmi dummy plug (from $9 to $15)

Thank you guys, I ordered a dummy plug.

1280. I started undervolting with 1075v, now I am at 1025v... I dont think it can go any lower. 1000gpu/1450mem. its stable for last 24h.

Did you updated your drivers? that could be the problem... if you did, try cleaning up with DDU.

I heard that w10 is the worst OS for our "hobby"... and also for privacy.

Thanks for your input
Unfortunately i have already done this process with DDU and re-installing drivers and it didn't work Sad

v7, driver 16.11.2, -i 4

Win 7 64bit
290 1000/1250 - 217 Sol/s ~180W
280 1000/1500 - 150 Sol/s ~130W

Win 8.1 64bit
370 1175/1500 - 98 Sol/s

v8, -i 6
290 from 217 to 274 Sol/s ~200W
280 from 150 to 190 Sol/s ~140W
370 from 98 to 128 Sol/s

v8 -i 3 power usage seems to be about the same as with -i 4 on v7 so the new version is ~25% more power efficient.
Intensity 3-4 seem to be the best - only a bit slower than 5 and 6, but 5 consumes more watts and 6 even much more

280     290    whole PC watts (baseline is 103W without mining)
-i 0   179     254    409
-i 1   181     254    410
-i 2   185     264    416
-i 3   187     271    419
-i 4   188     272    423
-i 5   189     273    429
-i 6   190     274    443
