MSI R9 390 1100/1500/def volatge get only 250 H/s with V9. On V8 it was 270-280
Win7 64bit 15.12
How did you manage to get 300+ with R9 390?
Best regards

these power spikes or shutdown/crash seems to have a correlation with to much undervolt and overclock, depends of cards and their quality, I raised voltages, less overclock and for now is running fine.

Even with stock, it still occurs.

I have seen the spikes with earlier versions, but here they are stronger.
Cant see them on the wall. Cant see them in the corsair link. Can only see them on gpu-z.

From 8.0 to 9.0
6*RX 470 power consumption raised from 800W to 1000W from the wall.
Odd, mine went from ~860 to ~860. What did you modify in the card's bios/settings? Do you have ref. cards or aftermarket (such as Nitro+, etc.)? I measure ~900W on the wall for 6 pcs of Sapphire ref. RX470 4GB.

All my rigs are running RX 480 8GB Cards - Mixed brands - Power Color, Sapphire, Asus Strix and XFX (all stock bios)- all running stable for 28 hrs now on v9. Average hashrate - 225 h/s per card. The Asus Strix cards seem to have the best hash rate on v9 (about 230 h/s). All rigs running Celeron Procs at about 10% with -i 8. Intensity settings don't seem to have any effect at all for me (0 to 8 makes no difference). Power usage rose about 6% average but gained roughly 20% hash rate from v8. Kudo's to Claymore. I'm not seeing any of these power spikes everyone is talking about but all i have is a meter at the wall.

It can be anything between 1 and 8. 8 is just the most intense.
