Seeing 315+ H/s on each of my 390x clocked at 1180, though the temp hits 90C. One of the cards occasionally drops out now with 9.1 (was stable on 8 ).. even drops without overclocking. At least the miner resets itself.
Even doing -tt -80 or higher? Set -ttli 92

Even doing -tt -80 or higher? Set -ttli 92 You probably should be spending your time looking into undervolting to lower temps, blowing the dust out of your cards, separating them from each other more for better airflow or relocating the rig for more efficient environmental heat removal, reapplying the thermal compound between the heat-sinks and GPU core, etc. There really isn't much difference between 90 and 100% fan speed when in comes to cooling, and you are quickly running out of headroom if you need to run that high to keep your cards at 90C. I have a few rigs with the 390x cards and I know they run hot, but I manage to keep them in the 70C range, I would be worried at 90C.

Will give undervolting a shot - they're brand new, so I'm not too worried about dust. Do they use decent thermal grease during production? Have them in a rackmount enclosure that moves an absurd amount of air across them.. with v8 I could run with the GPU fans at 0% and the temp stayed around 84C. 9 seems to have changed that a bit.

For Flypool encrypted stratum port is different. 3443 (Encrypted stratum is currently only supported by the Claymore miner)
Example: ssl://us1-zcash.flypool.org:3443

Yeah, version 9 pushes them harder so they will run hot. I have mine in open air rigs and they run ~74-77C now with earlier versions they would be under 70C. Your 84C is on the high side, but would still be a worthy goal versus 90C. Undervolting might take you there, but you might also need to be prepared to give up a bit of hashrate and decrease the core clocks a little.

I did go from flypool to dwarfpool i can now say <3 dwarfpool 2.3H later so much better! I swapped to dwarf a few days ago and love it too. I've also talked with the dwarfpool admin about adopting SSL/TLS connections. They are looking into it now.

are you overvlocking? my furies are happy with -i 8. Afterburner -96mv -40% 315 H/s, 165w at wall EDIt: Underclocked to 1000MHz

i have one 7970 that registers as a 280x.. tried all kinds of over/underclock and intensity settings and it performs worse than my 7950's.
any way claymore to override certain preset tweeks that are making cards under perform?

is this normal ?
Yes. Pools steal shares from you. The only zcash pool that reports and pays correctly what is expected is dwarfpool. Thanks is it easy to start useing dwarfpool i use flypool now how much are them takeing can you give me a little guide to use dwarfpool? sorry for my bad eng Only issue is you will make about 1/2 as much right now on that pool than zpool because it is so small. I like dwarfpool but man not that much =( You don't make based on the pool lmao except that you may not make based on the pool honesty. Coin mine and flypool are stealing shares plus a 1% plus of rejected shares. I started this miner 7 hours ago on dwarfpool and have 1 reject on 2607 submissions. The reward is in line with what would be expected of 470 sols

Yes. Pools steal shares from you. The only zcash pool that reports and pays correctly what is expected is dwarfpool. that's quite the rabbit hole you've started your way down.not that i don't agree. we are executing closed source code written by an anonymous author that is coincidentally named after a device that sits idle until activation at which point it explodes and wreaking havoc all around it. that author is being payed handsomely for this privilege. funny how a few shills and largely clueless mining community can lead up to the current state of things. We have a contract with claymore. We know how much we are paying. We have a contract with the pools that most don't give a crap about it and steal shares on top of the 1%. On top of that flypool generates a ton of rejects due to under performing server. It costs the miners around 10%.

There's been two times I've seen one of my cards spike to 90C now... otherwise it stays in the 80s, and the other cards are in the 60s. Haven't been able to get the cards to accept undervolting. Not seeing any error - the Gigabyte OC tool grays out power settings, and if I try through Claymore then the clockspeed just falls down to 600-800, though I have it set much higher.
