do u guys saw an increase in zec earnings after 24 hours? I'm getting the exact same amount. Maybe we should focus in power efficiency instead of hashing speed.  Smiley

Hi there!!

I updated to new 9.1 version but I faced some weird bug appeared only with versions 9.0 and 9.1

One of my card Sapphire Radeon RX 480 NITRO+ 8192MB in rig shows mistake

gpu#1 returned incorrect data ... Constantly !!!!

before update to these versions all was ok and this card is with basic bios so far

I changed mining pool same thing goes on... only one of 6 cards in rig shows this mistake and doesn't give shares

Plz suggest me if anyone faced same issue and what to do?

Cheers

maybe you need to decrease overclocking

Well it's not overlocked at all... that's the thing.... it's absolutely native bios used still

Zcash/Zclassic Mining Pool Hub

https://zcash.miningpoolhub.com
https://zclassic.miningpoolhub.com

Pool supports Claymore's SSL/TLS mining.
All previous ports are compatible, so you don't need to worry about changing port numbers.
Just add "ssl://" before the hostname at commandline.

Also pool provides auto switching according to profitability.

Thanks.

OH thats normal they count the shares in the pool differently since mining difficulty change alot. I'm getting the same than u. Anyways shares doesnt matter, what matters is how much zec u get every 24 hours. You should be getting +- 0.04 i think.

I installed relive 16.12.1 driver got code 43 error.
Reverted back to 16.11.5 work perfectly

Ps. My 470s were bios modded

any version after 16.9.1 and before 16.12.1 should be fine. They turned on the bios signature check once again.
Or if you really into latest drivers read this : https://www.techpowerup.com/228536/amd-bios-signature-check-re-enabled-with-relive-locks-out-polaris-bios-modders

Since most of the posts are now becoming the same thing and blaming the miner for card(s) going down or whole system crashing until one or more cards are removed with v8,9,9.1 I figured I would try to clear this up.

There have been posts saying check your psu and such but that is clearly not getting the point across. Each version of claymore uses slightly more power so there are really only a handful of issues to check before posting for the majority of the issues here.
1. PSU  wattage load
2. PSU ripple suppression
3. PSU voltage regulation at different load variations
4. Bad risers and other cables. (Least likely if still working in other versions)
5. Incorrectly configuring windows

All PSU are created slightly different even at the same rates wattage and having way more watts than you're using doesn't mean you're running your psu at a better efficiency.

If you're using a multi gpu setup you need to use a gold or higher rated PSU. The evga super nova / super flower leadex series have great ripple suppression.
Keep each PSU at at maximum of 80% load and keep it cool!

There is much more I could get into but it would require knowing each rig full hardware config.

Difference between 9.0 and 9.1 only in reducing fee,  I would not go to new version as 0.5% are not important for me.

I have been using 2x 280x GPU's since the early versions with no trouble at all then all of the sudden v9.0 comes out and then starts sucking heaps more power then the previous version and giving those red invalid messages at times, I thought 9.1 would fix it but it didn't..... So I went back to v8 with no problems whatsoever, all for 10sol less, less power and a bit more fee, Bios & Settings are set to stock and Intensity is at 2 like always.

Seeing 315+ H/s on each of my 390x clocked at 1180, though the temp hits 90C. One of the cards occasionally drops out now with 9.1 (was stable on 8 ).. even drops without overclocking. At least the miner resets itself.

My R9 290 never had any improvements since V7 I'm not sure why. It got stuck to 250-260Sols even at 1100/1300

About the random restart, My rig shuts down 15 mins - 1hr after miner starts and the bad thing about it is that my pc wouldn't restart by itself unless I discharge all the PSU capacitors (disconnect from wall sockets). Good thing about this is I fixed it by getting all settings back to stock and a little Undervolt. This minimized my gains when switching v8-v9 from 20% to 10%, but it's still a good improvement nonetheless. Never had any random crashes for almost 24hrs now.

My setup is composed of 2x RX470s (1200core,2000mem) 210 sols and an R9290 (950core,1250 mem) 250 sols My PSU is AcBel R88 1100Watts 80+ Silver.  My rig is almost half of that PSU's capacity, maybe it is really that bad.

Can you give a few more details on your setup?  I ran 6 Fury Nitros on -i 6 with v9.0 rock solid (15.12 drivers).  I had tons of trouble when I went to v9.1, but I also updated my drivers to 16.12 at the same time so I haven't been able to pin-point the exact cause.  I'm rolling the drivers back now to test v9.1 on 15.12 and 16.11.5.
