wow, nice strategy. I'm on slush with quite constant 60 GH/s with 3 BF-H-cards. I get around 0.5 BTC daily at the moment. I see there is space for improvement, thank you  Smiley

Are you mining on : mining.bitcoin.cz ?
Most I get is 0.3BTC / day with 60 GH.

I do, I had the 0.3 / day as well, before I found a little trick that made my hashing constant (before, the rate fell to trash every night). In the common sense that obviously roams around in the BTC world, I could pass this knowledge to you, in exchange for a small contribution of, lets say, 100 BTC?

or

just give it out (I use /60 not /10):

Someone may find this useful... If your pool reports your hashrate dropping regularly DESPITE bitfury admin showing steady noncerate:

1) ssh into your pi
2) run command: crontab -e
3) add this line at the end of file:
Quote
*/10    *       *       *       *       sudo /opt/bitfury/start-stratumproxy.sh
4) save & exit

It will restart your stratum proxy every 10 minutes from now on. If you want to cancel it, just run the command again and delete the line.

And you can add another command to restart the miner by substituting "start-miner.sh" in place of "start-stratumproxy.sh" in a similar command.  I've heard that the falling off hash rate sometimes requires the miner to be restarted, too...

But this needs to move over the to the Bitfury support thread and out of KNC, I think.....

I just have a little mental issue with putting money in Josh's pocket mining on EMC, given the amount of money that BFL has screwed people out of....

I really find it unbelievable that people can keep mining on emc after reading a couple of random posts from inaba Smiley

Anyway, ozcoin has DGM as well.

I bought two starters, got them around the same time, but I've mined almost 16 coins.  I'm up to .52 BTC already today and it's still only 10:30 in the morning.  I should see another Slush and BTCG payout by the end of today, as well.

73 Gh/s.  I run a few Block erupters, too.

Lies. No way you can make up to 16 coins with 2 starter kits. I assume you're running 3x h-boards. I myself are running 3 h-boards, totaling to 75 ghash. I received my boards in the very early days of shipments (days before you did) and I've not even made 10 btc yet.

definitely. But isn't this thread a mishmash of (nearly) lost hopes already?  Cheesy

So ideally, looks like we have at least 2 changes in diff coming before some of us first customers see our knc devices.. hmm its at 112mil now, and running a jup at 400 Gh/s right now nets you this:

The expected generation output, at 400 Ghps, given current difficulty of 112628548.66635 , is 1.78609844927 BTC per day and 0.0744207687197 BTC per hour.

.. so around 1.7 a day.. I remember when I first ordered this device it was at almost 7btc a day.. wow...

Is there a catchy Internet phrase or abbreviation for "wild conjecture"?

This thread is full of it.  Lol.  It's like some people have invented their own reality when it comes to their guesses in how KNC is manufacturing and bringing these miners to market.   Roll Eyes

Wasn't it today that the chips were supposed to be out of the packaging facility and 007 style escorted back to Sweden?  Can we get an update, or did I just miss it?

So you wanna talk speculation? So how fast is the Jupiter really going to be? What will the overclocking potential be like if they are actually pushing say 500GHs at a low clock speed? (I don't think 500GHs is wildly optimistic based on KNC's recent comments) Will overclocking be even more beneficial because of the extra baseline speed? Overclocking 15% on a 500GHs rig should yield 25% more speed increase than overclocking a 400GHs machine, right? 75GHs increase versus a 60GHs increase according to my simpleton math skills.

Being engineers, they more than likely they ordered 30% more of everything than they needed, and they already planned for the 2nd batch orders. I would guesstimate, they have plenty of on hand and are willing to toss some components if necessary. Figure a 5% failure rate at worst for these scenarios, so it's within acceptable boundaries.
Yeah. I think they still have margins on margins. We know there are 4 engines in the chip. I think they might be quoting us a 100 gh/sec figure based on three of those engines working when we might very find all four working.

So, perhaps the theoretical max hasrate if all four engines are working is more than 125 gh/s per chip, but more like 150+, perhaps even 166 or so. Putting our hashing max at some 650 gh/s. We shall see.

I imagine they'll test each board before its even installed in a case, then assemble cases out of working boards, flash in your miner details to do the burn-in for minutes, then ship. Easy peasy.
