why in their right mind would anyone wait to get a refund on the eve of shipment?
Just for a second consider other people are not idiots and you are in delusion, OK? Just for the sake of argument, say to yourself "what if": - what if it is not an eve of shipment? - what if there is not a single KnC chip in Sweden and will not be for some time? - what if there is a reason for KnC to stop refunds, since there was a flood of people asking for them? - what if those people used their calculators and concluded there will never get the money from those machines if they are 10 days late, as much they get from a refund? It baffles me how someone easily consider others stupid and misinformed, and never want to see anything that is not in frame of his own wishful thinking.

I get where the requester is comming from as this is a family matter and all, but its been pushed to production. If the user doesnt receive the device in the next 7 days then i would go through the steps to file a chargeback with my credit card company.

What if a near earth object hits sweden? What if a Carrington event hits the earth tomorrow? What if a black hole swallows the solar system? What if the laws of physics suddenly change and electricty stops working? What if crystalline aliens suddenly discover earth and eat all the KNC chips?
Give it a rest...
Personally, I'm going to unwatch this thread until Monday - its gone well beyond completely absurd...

KNCminer stated refund cutoff policy is to permit refunds until shipment, if they have cut off refunds without stating another policy, then they obviously consider that the orders are in shipment phase. No wonder you are on so many ignore lists, I wouldn't have seen your stupid post if someone hadn't quoted it.

Why is everybody so set on fixed dates.. a few +/- no big "diff" Production has started so orders should be ready next week, but I can’t yet give you a date. two reasons: the fast increasing of the network hash power and the promise of the supplier itself about the month September. target was mid of September not the last two days of September in the beginning.

The "underpromise/overdeliver" ridiculousness is also worth mentioning

I don't care about exact dates either, I just want to see the things working to ascertain if the live up to their specifications.

ok, might be as you stated out. so Day1 is then Friday and Day2 Monday, right?
Why do people wait until Sunday to buy their Sunday newspaper instead of picking it up when the printer closes at 5:30 or so friday evening? Or don't you have Sunday papers where you come from? Why wait for morning to get your morning paper, instead of picking it up from the printer at 5:30 the evening before when the printer closes? Sheesh! Capital machinery is like bitcoin mining rigs, you pay 24/7 interest on the capital it took to get the damn things, you think everyone is going to run it 8 hours a day, 5 days a week? Day 1 is presumably the first day the machines are pouring out rigs into courier trucks and day two the second day the machines are pouring out rigs into courier trucks. Maybe day 1 starts at midnight tonight... But midnight by where's timezone? Maybe it is already midnight somewhere! -MarkM-

Posting a load of photos of people assembling racks, then nothing shown for production...not a pixel. Does that make an ounce of sense at this stage if they are in production? So easy to do. Why wouldn't they?
