You get 500+ instead of 400 for a Jupiter. That rocks...
ands 500+ will return my 85BTC investment a generate some profit? really? KNC sell you miners. Thats it. They are not responsible for your profit or losses due to network hashrate! VERY true and nothing to do with Knc... You have all just purchased very expensive Paper Weights.. Unless HashFast & CoinTerra have problems, I'm afraid this is probably true. Especially for November orders. CoinTerra is going to suck the profit out of everything, even for their own customers. I feel the most sorry for Monarch people that had no choice but to upgrade and wait further. And to pay an additional 10% to boot...lol BFL is running out of money fast. They will be dead soon.

the assholeness in this thread sometimes is really disgusting
Look, it's obvious that you're used to defeat in life. When companies promise you stuff, and brag about "margins upon margins," you're happy if you just get the stuff, forget that "on time" shit. I get it, you're used to getting the short end of the stick. You're thrilled to just not be beaten with it. Please understand, in turn, that there are people with slightly higher expectations, k?

Erm, yes they are, unless you aren't going to mine with the KnC rigs they are pumping out (not as they originally said, a small manageable customer base they could support well). When the hashrate rises like a wall this month..that won't be KnC? lmao. They also made statements about the hashrate increase and how they were going to try and protect us from it if they could so we could see a return. They even said they would have a little break and not produce anything for months in the unlikely event that other people didn't ship rigs. Buying rigs is a mug's game at the moment, selling them is awesome...lovely profits, no need to even fund it yourself and not your fault if they don't make the punters any profit or even break even. OR if they are late, but not as late as BFL you're a hero. Mad business.

So, almost the first (within 1 hr 40 min) bitbet lost no hash-rates posted No hashing machine posted. Alot of concerned looking faces in the pics.

check this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ittJ5PQe6IUand this album: http://imgur.com/a/336Ah#0both of them are taken by Orama from factory. and power consumption will be 1.4W/Gh maybe I missed something from today, but this seems important/interesting to me.

But seriously if you werent able to add that effect into your considerations than you better stay out of this whole business as you seem to lack basic understandings.

Have you not seen Orama's last posts? He's probably not allowed to tell us about the hashrate. Maybe in an hour or 2, we'll go to our YouTube subscription page. There we'll see "KnCMiner Uploaded a Video 'Jupiter Demonstration 800 Gh/s per Unit!' 10 minutes ago" Also, don't you think Orama wouldn't have posted "100% Yield" if that was concern, and not just the team being tired? They could also be thinking "What if this DOESN'T work..." Not, "OH GOD!!!! IT DOESN'T WORK!!!!"

KNC said: "We have begun testing and initial results are good, we will have more updates throughout the day." I really doubt this statement was addressed to customers. The only exact info we got was about the power consumption, from an outsider, therefore still not official. Yet, one might argue the day is not over yet (Sweden time)... Yes, I do understand they are excited, tired and so on, but there is a pretty large number of us, customers, waiting on some clear specs and details about production, delivery schedule and so on. Im personally interested in calculating my losses and I need some data to start with

When the hashrate rises like a wall this month..that won't be KnC? lmao. Probably not what he meant. More along the lines of that KNC aren't responsible for our personal decisions and only deliver the product. Early customers pre-ordered and paid for what we thought would be 350 & 175GH/s machines delivered in september so it's our responsibility to decide if we are willing to take that risk or not. But yes KNC are the ones making the miners which will directly affect the network.

Most people are content to see the stacks of photo's that were posted today.
Videos of assembly, pictures of boards and chips. And of course the revelation by bitcoinorama that he wears women's high heeled shoes and hasn't mastered how to walk in them yet.
There are obviously still problems with the chips, boards and shoes, or else KNC would have shipped.
I think everyone assumes they will iron out the problems and ship in the next couple of days.
I think most people are content to live with shipping one or two days late.
In the long run it means nothing - getting a working miner soon is all most sane people here are interested in.
Everyone log off and get an early night.
I'd say there will be no more news today, just the straight-jacketed forum loons howling into the night...

The russians...
I'm not from Russia. I born in Basel (CH) and then I moved to Prague (CZ) please don't try to start here this racism bullshit. What can they say? Currently only Chinese and Russian had good records on delivering on time and achieved reasonable ROI for their customers. i.e. Avalon B#1 and Bitfury. None of the US or Western Euro company have achieved this at this moment.

I'd take your advice, there, except it's just a bit after 1pm where I'm at, and I'm enjoying the show Also, I thnk the 100 percent yield comment was on the chips, not the hashrate. A bit of speculation on my part, but I suspect that HUGE chip is due to multiple redundancy, which would gurarantee a very high yield on spec. It could also mean that a fair percentage of the chips are capable of much higher rates, should you be able to unlock all of the hashing engines.

I was joking AussieHash & sickpig. Is no one else going to comment on the fact the case is flat-pack? maybe miners hosted into KnC facility will have custom case, no ? If you look at the datacentre photos, looks like the boards are going directly on the shelves http://forum.kncminer.com/filedata/fetch?photoid=3023Good pick The miner case appears to have 4 sets of 6-point-mounts aligned front to back plus room for the beaglebone The shelves appear to have 6 sets of 6-point-mounts, all aligned obliquely(although the PSU needs to sit somewhere)

So maybe you feel like telling me exactly how much hashing power KnC are selling in China? Or how you could even start to find that out? KnC sell miners, at a huge profit. Enough to drop 2k easily from the price as they did. You don't think that would have made the difference between breaking even or a loss for people waiting for rigs now? Man there's some masochists about in here. Whip me again..harder. lmao They have done well, only just missed Sept by the looks of it. That doesn't do customers an ounce of good however. It won't do KnC any good long term either...only a complete numpty will be back to donate some more hard earned money after losing this round. "Oh look I lost a grand sitting worrying while waiting for a rig that won't break even...that was fun . " Really? lol
