What are your thoughts for Bitcoin in 2017?

I think bitcoin will more expand in 2017 in compare to previous year because day by day technology as well as human  thought increases.so many people want to earn digital mony .

I do agree to what you say. Actually, the number of Bitcoin users has already increased in 2016 and the process will continue in 2017 with the bigger tempo and it will bring many positive results to Bitcoin such as the increasing in the prices. However, many bitcoin experts will also change their mind and move their money into some other potential currency since there are many new cryptos existing and even greater than Bitcoin

currency there is no such a currency which can compete bitcoin. and if we analyse the the progress of bitcoin we can conclude that the number of bitcoin users are increasing more than any other currency. so in near future i do not think ant any other currency can overcome bitcoin. and the users of bitcoin only invest their bitcoin in trading alt coin but still mostly they depend on bitcoin.

yes i also agree with you, that no other currency stand against bitcoin  even in near future, because bitcoin is the number one cryupto currency of the world and hope that it will continue as number currency in future, because the number of bitcoin users are more than any other currency.

A new cryptocurrency replacing bitcoin this year is just impossible. Bitcoin will stay on top and cannot be replaced by any other coins. Though China will replace its fiat digital currency, to replace Chinese Yuan, will have an effect to bitcoin and all cryptocurrency as well; bitcoin will still survive and will climb up and increase its value. If bitcoin will be replaced it will not be this year but possibly 20 years from now.

It might so. Whereas government would want to create their own digital currency, to be able to have control over users funds, Bitcoin provides freedom by leaving users the power to control their funds, as well as protect themselves from any external interference, such as freeze of assets, and more. So even though, China decides to make its own digital currency, I think that Bitcoin will still be widely supported among Chinese miners and everyday people.

It is one of the many advantages that Bitcoin has, and I think that it will continue to make strides, as time goes by.

Nevertheless, I hope that more governments would decide to go cashless, implementing their own digital currency to eliminate physical fiat money, and provide all the convenience of a blockchain, such as fast transactions and immutability. In the end, I think that both government issued digital currencies, and public cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin will survive for years to come. Just sharing my thoughts.

we can see that the price of bitcoin has a great support at 900 USD level. and the rice is therefore trading above 900 in a very stable mood, so i do not think that bitcoin will will decrease any more. therefor to me i think it s the best time to buy bitcoin in currency price otherwise we will not be able to buy bitcoin at that price any more.

some people have a pessimist thought about how bitcoin could dropped down to 50% or so in this new year, but as usual i see a lot of people full of optimistic that invest in bitcoin now or then it would always give you profit as the price of bitcoin are increased gradually. i'm indeed want to be one of them who keep having optimism, i just wouldn't go allin to invest .

I agree with your thought that this year it is will very good as the more country government and banks are taking interest in blockchain and more users are coming to bitcoin as long term investment, but i dont agree with your point of being used as a mainstream currency as i think still it is more time to come as the circulation of bitcoin is less then fiat currency so it is more hard to come to mainstream but it can come to online purchasing mainstream currency as it will be on main circulation in online currency
