CENTRAL DATABASE   much better ..i don't mind     be like VISA  but with information and monies  ..
Fast secure and accountable   OH and way way more things you can do ..

But lets call it for what it is CENTRALISED    FACT    and you plan carrying on building on a slower less
effective manner ..

What about a bank   you need ID to have an account BUT with a bank i can claim for so many things if it's stolen and i can get at least 50k if anything goes
wrong like if it collapses ..
BUT with TEZOS and many other so called decentralised lying blockchains you lost everything if it collapses   NO INSURANCE ..

One more thing before i go..

 KYC. Yet , many of them were dead silent during the Gevers fiasco/lawsuits. I am inclined to think that either they are just spreading fud or they don't want to have exposure to paying taxes

to paying taxes ..Well i can go to court in the UK and argue i took a gamble and under gambling rules i don't pay tax the BOOKIES DOES ..I.E Tezos TF ..

Also under UK tax laws we don't pay tax unless we earn 12k  per year ..
So did i take a gamble or do i have less than 12k?   ..

But I remember Modum ICO, just before ''new law" (KYC 4 all ICO investors); but because they started and finished ico before law it was no must to do KYC 4 investors.
Maybe its the same 4 Tezos ICO. They have lawyers...

also carefully read and understand the T&C attached to the KYC/AML..... no guarantee one will get any tezos at all

also anyone who joined up to the TZLibre fork well Tesoz can just refuse to give you your XTZ and seems nothing one can do about it..... again read and understand the T&C you agree to when claiming your Tezos

That was reasonable because the contributors have no requirement to buy in the ico and when it finish along this year when kyc was being required to release i think it will not necessarily to require. While now still they are with the lawsuit that makes the development become slow.

I don't think Tezos foundation can prevent anyone to do the fork. So much drama adds to the anticipation and makes Tezos even more popular. You will see a lot of ICO-s moving on Tezos platform.

I wouldn't assume that. Because it is so limited market. And thousands of investors have been waiting for the launch almost a year. During that time market prices went up and also expectations. I'm not sure if the investors will be willing to sell around $5.

$5 would push the total value to: 763,306,929 TZY * $5 = $3.8 bn

Thing is: If the launch should go smooth and Tezos being listed on good exchanges while the overall market situation should not be too bad or even bullish, that may be possible or even find a higher price - considered that EOS for example is traded at a marketcap of about $10 bn.

But... I personally have zero clue what to expect from this project tbh.

Any data as to what the average price for investors was? Haven't been following this a lot but it seems that there would be massive instant profit if it lists at $5?

If it launched at $5 at today's btc price those selling tezos would gain about 3x in bitcoin value.

Ok so it is quite safe to expect a good number of people to take profit when it launches in that price range.

I seriously don't think most people who were forced to hold for an entire year to be happy with 3x gains.

Depends a lot on the experience you have I'd say. As your rank says you have been into this world for a good amount of time, but those who are in it for not so long will most likely take profits. You know, when I was a newbie I took 3x profits to just look at the rocket going 100x a few days after I sold

That seems to be very contradictory to even say lmao "contributors" are people who contribute in any form. If they "contribute" it means they bought in the ICO
