Excavator 1.3.0.a only for the Nicehash? Previously it was possible to work on supernova.

Lol seriously you make me laugh hard...
Anyone with a little knowledge about computer know if you have more cpus you need also some more CPU power and RAM.
All my rigs are made of min. 4 Core + HT i7 or even Hexa or Octa Core Xeons.

I never need to cry or be ashamed telling my rig can't handle 6 or 7 GPUs because i saved at the wrong point..there is the issue i see in this forum when people building a rig thinking they kjnow how it works.
Now I need to dry my eyes ..can't laugh anymore.

then obviously 99,7% make it wrong ..me under the 0.3% made it right..no big problems with sgminer and 6 or 7 cards ..rofl
I wanted to make abs workout but the laughing make it already..harder than 2000 crunches ..

If you read back a page or two you can see I asked the same question, no answer yet from the devs. It seems so at least I haven't gotten it to work with anything else than Nicehash.

Is there still AMD support in excavator 1.3.0 ?  Just tried to install nicehash miner v2 and there is no AMD support anymore?!

On their website there is version 1.8.3 to support AMD. But she is still raw and I have the impression that now the software on their website are Amateurs. The latest stable version for GPU of AMD was 1.7.14 Now she had removed from the site, but 1.8 an order of magnitude worse.

I got no problems with legacy miner, runs stable with my RX570 cards. After latest update i got no problems with algo switch either.
I've already done tests with excavator 1.2.11a and my AMD GPUs but dual mining was not optimal while single mining gave me same mh/s as claymore.

I'm still looking foward to switch to excavator because it is developed for nicehash as far as i know, so why should a use claymore if the pool i'm using  pays devs to develop a miner for their pool.

I guess Zawawa is busy polishing things.

I'm testing the new version 1.3.1a and see on the local monitoring page the efficiency is 0.00

What I also see is that the speed is lower and I get more Job not found errors. Is this known?

These two applications are very different internally and NiceHash Legacy is maturer and more stable at this point, so we decided to let the user choose. I believe we will completely switch to excavator once it hits the same level of stability.

As for NVIDIA v.s. AMD, they found that NiceHash'es current and potential customer bases consist disproportionately of NVIDIA users. Also, djeZo was not particularly impressed by the fact that the AMD platform was generally very unstable. I personally prefer a wild ride in the AMD land, but he surely knows what he is doing and he has the final say, so there was not much I could do...
