I'm testing the new version 1.3.1a and see on the local monitoring page the efficiency is 0.00

These two applications are very different internally and NiceHash Legacy is maturer and more stable at this point, so we decided to let the user choose. I believe we will completely switch to excavator once it hits the same level of stability.

As for NVIDIA v.s. AMD, they found that NiceHash'es current and potential customer bases consist disproportionately of NVIDIA users. Also, djeZo was not particularly impressed by the fact that the AMD platform was generally very unstable. I personally prefer a wild ride in the AMD land, but he surely knows what he is doing and he has the final say, so there was not much I could do...

so legacy will be removed sooner? just like what you have said legacy got a stable mining capability and i think its good switching coins from one another
i'm still new with mining and legacy was the first app that i use, hopefully i'll be able to maximize my earnings from your app and looking forward to try
using excavator and see it by myself if what this version can bring me, also have amd cards.

I just downloaded 1.3.1 alpha to test the dual mining, but still the miner gets Array errors when connecting to Nanopool.

Can you please confirm if Excavator is being limited to Nicehash pools only?

Dual mining does not work on pools that do not support EthereumStratum protocol. Make pools support it, and it will work. Specs are here: https://github.com/nicehash/Specifications/blob/master/EthereumStratum_NiceHash_v1.0.0.txt

Dual mining does not work on pools that do not support EthereumStratum protocol. Make pools support it, and it will work. Specs are here: https://github.com/nicehash/Specifications/blob/master/EthereumStratum_NiceHash_v1.0.0.txt

Its far more easy to excavator support other eth protocol, since you dont have to ask (or beg) to every pool to support your ethereum protocol ( i doubt they will)

That depends on the algorithm. Ethash/daggerhashimoto is pickier than others.

Thanks for the update. Speed is now 658. I'm using two workers and not the -M option.
