Smiley

This is all becoming rather fun to be involved with, at least as someone who up until a few days ago had only mined a few mbtc and ltc as an after thought to the entire thing.

Even if I still have <500 fc haha..

A good community here for sure.

Who here has a load of FC and wants to sponsor some bounties?

For example:

- Setting up a FeatherCoin.org site
- Setting up the first exchange
- Making a Logo and some other graphics
- Setting up a faucet
- Setting up some FC related websites (simple versions of Satoshi Dice etc)
- Anything else worthwhile

This coin has massive interest, and very good fundamentals as an alt coin being based on LTC for fast confirms and transactions, and is ASIC proof.

Litecoin's little brother Smiley

We should make it happen!

What do you guys think?  Grin

I can donate like 3k to help the causes, I feel like staying with Feathercoin for the long run Smiley

coinex.cc will  be offering them once they start up after making their final tweaks.

I'm mining on FC Simple Pool with one of my rigs... 1.12kh/s. It says I should bring in 1,294 FC per day. However, after mining for a few hours, I only have 1.54 FTC in the "round estimate" section.

I used the exact same settings as I do for litecoin mining, just pointed the miner at the FC Simple Pool.

Did I miss something? Any help is appreciated!

Check the Confirmations. You get paid when they are complete. It can take some time as they need 120 each.

I thought the same thing last night, but then all came good.

I thought I remembered somebody saying towards the beginning of the thread that they registered the .org (.net and .info also I believe).

Edit:  I looked back through and didn't see anything so maybe I'm remembering wrong.

I own feathercoin.cc. Will donate with some rules.
If some other domain doesn't find its way first
Like what?.. Definitely interested in setting up the website.

I will transfer the domain to the owner of feathercoin for his control or the one responsible to make it a good service.
I will not do a domain transfer rigth away.
Alright cool Smiley Well let it be known I will do it if the powers that be would like me to Wink

Hmm, I keep seeing

Pool 0 communication failure, caching submissions

in my cgminer window, for http://fpool1.zapto.org:28339 ?

Seems to have just started appearing within the last 30 mins or so..

is that normal? I am seeing with this : Pool 0 share became stale while retrying submit, discarding

 Huh Huh

Great controbution! I'll throw in 1000 FC myself - I will probably start a bounty thread soon - but let's see if there is any interest / feedback from the devs and such Smiley

Having some issues with more than I though in the pool: http://feathercoin.is-a-geek.com

I have turned off the pool for now, and once all shares are confirmed tomorrow (after I get some sleep) I will manually pay out the correct amount after calculating it.

Please make sure to have a payout address in the system or pm my your username on the site and payout address.

I will payout per share, as opposed to PPLNS method simply because the back-end accounting is not working.

I'm running two 7970's with CGMiner to mine FC.

When I'm at I=12 I average around 230k/s

As soon as I up the Intensity, I get a ton of hardware errors.

here's what I'm starting CGMiner with:

cgminer --crypt  -o stratum+tcp://mine.altpool.com:3333/ -s 1 --expiry 1 --queue 0 -u user -p x --shaders 2048 --intensity 13 --fix-protocol --thread-concurrency 4800

Any help/advice would be appreciated. Still getting the hang of tweaking my settings.

Some "big players" joined the game...the times you received 100 FT per day for CPU-mining are already over....

if you are running on windows, close you miner and open up a cmd window and run this "setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100"
It'll say success.. then close that window.  Now open up and run cgminer.   try setting your thread-concurrency to 4X the shaders.  You still may have some trouble going above I13.. but it'll help.  I trying to improve mine too and thats what i've come accross so far.
