I have a dream, that the next time we cross $9,000, it will be the last time we ever see Vegeta memes.

Only rocket and rollercoaster memes?
meh

Thanks for the troubleshooting merit, btw.

I still expect a flash dip under $9K (which could go as low as $8K but most probably only to 8.5K-8.8K) when we go attack (and fail) $10K for the first time this year. But, if everything goes well, THAT will be the last time.

The more we retest all these levels setting solid higher lows, the better in the long run.

I don't know what it is that attracts them, but every time we have a pump or even a steady upward movement in price, all the BCH/BSV/B-whatever non-BTC shitcoinery shills come here and unload their hatred/insecurity/bitterness or whatever their problem is...

Mega pump incoming?

Bitcoin Halving — Everything You Need to Know.

Quote
The first Bitcoin Halving spurred 13,378% growth in Bitcoin’s price whereas the second Bitcoin Halving spurred a 12,160% rally.

A 12,160% rally from Bitcoin’s mid-December 2018 bear market bottom of $3,150 would result in a ~$385,000 Bitcoin.

By the same token a 13,378% rally would lead to a ~$425,000 Bitcoin.

A $385,000 Bitcoin is very interesting because that would mean that Bitcoin’s Market Cap (i.e. $189 billion as of this writing) will have eclipsed the current Market Cap of Gold (i.e. $7.8 trillion).

This occurrence would truly cement Bitcoin’s status as a “Digital Gold.”

This medium article is crap.
Iy does explain how something happened, but not why this happened.
As it don't explain why it happened I don't know anything if it is going to happen again.
It's like driving on a mountain road and saying: mhh I had a 180 turn 4 km ago, and a 150 turn 2 km ago, so probably I am going to turn 120 degrees now.
(Yes, I like comparing AT to driving looking at the rearview mirror).

I prefer a sound model.
A sound model in my opinion is the S2M model (Stock To Flow Model: Modeling Bitcoin's Value with Scarcity) (warning Roachie triggered here)

A model tries to explain the reality, not only describe it.
Of course it is a model, and you have to take care: models abide to reality, not the other way round. So take care when trading on models.

All models are based on speculation; past performance is no guarantee of future results.

Stock to flow model have historically overshoots the model after halvening. So that means the price will rocket 3x-10x to $300k-$1m.

Both models have roughly same outcome only placed in other perspective.

Vaguely remember buying that sh*t at .0227.....

Damn Raja I thought I was missing something, but the returns now would still only be a drup of oil on a hot plate :/

An X3 X4 increase from now would be good, though I think I might surrender faster as that Cheesy

Well, I had to cash out an entire bitcoin yesterday for expenses and such. This is why it's going over 9k.

Because the universe rotates around me, and the universe enjoys fucking with me :-)

So moon time! Every time I sell one that is one bitcoin I will never see again. Blah!

Close to that level. Also I promised myself that I would only fund my bitcoin work with bitcoins. Gives me incentive to get my ass working more, but not a whole lot going on in miner repair these days.

I share your pain. My view it is the 'devil compact' we made with the KNC Titans making $$$ on crypto as long as they did...

Ya know, deals with the devil? Losing fiddle contests? I swear I can time the market by selling low and buying high.
