Almost there.... Just a few more seconds.... A few more blinks... We're at the 50 day MA, sentiment suggests it'll plunge through any moment, I'll take the bet that we bounce here, perhaps a quick wick. Anyone else care to take a guess. @goldkingcoiner, You called this move from 10.5k, full credit Well, I can't be wrong all the time Bounce seems likely. But if we go under 9000 we are looking at 8600-8100 and the reversal back to bull mode from there. Noted and I just bought the dip, now we can go lower

Update: Some foreplay action before we move along. I'm up for a bit of price discovery Obviously. # Faketoshi/Ayre/BSv try to claim that they "own" all of the forked blockchainz. The result?...litecoin surpasses BSv I wonder what became of cousin nutildah's BSV short.

So is it just an American chick thing that they think they should get rewarded for not causing problems?
I'm getting really sick of hearing "I've been good" and having them expect rewards for it.
It's a commie thing. Capitalists work for their rewards.

Just imagine finding a USB stick on the street, all crushed by passing cars, and taking it home, repairing it, and discovering that it contained the private key to thousands of BTC. Wet dream?
Has happened to me once (sans the BTC). Found the remains of a USB stick on the street (only the PCB had remained, and badly damaged). I tried to repair it, but couldn't. Could it have contained Satoshi's coins? No one will ever know.
I'm paranoid like that...
Paranoid people — at least those who think the issue through — don’t pick up random USB sticks found lying about. heh yeah that worked for stuxnet. of course badusb etc i never use flashdrives that have been in other systems. i just destroy them if returned. EDIT read only (ie finalized) cds are my friend. Open it in knopix or a vm fs what can happen exactly? Exactly. I always do this, and also use VM to test-drive apps before installing on my main (host) PC. No viruses, no malware, no corruptions, no problems! Edit: ...and always disable AutoRun after a Windows installation.

We have power outages a few times a year because trees falling over power lines, because of heavy snow (yet to come this year) or storms (had enough already). So to a certain amount we're prepped already over here, it should last us about up to two weeks (six person household). People in our village are like: Covid19: "Just a flu..." No more beer: "We're all going to die!" And it's even not as ironic as most of you might think Bitcoin: Looks like good support above $9.000, i'm starting to worry when it breaks through. At the time it's still easy hodling.

There was one article about Wuhan that said a truck was held up and robbed of toilet rolls (can't find reference, or prove it, but it's anecdotally illustrative). In the event of supply chain disruption, it may be simple stuff that you will miss most. With any hint of a lock down, as per a recent post by one of our Italian brothers showing a stripped supermarket - it's probably a good idea to have a decent stock of basic non-perishable food and basics like toilet rolls, first aid etc. - just so you don't have to actually go out to hunt down basics. You can always use it up later, or give it to a food bank someday. As for the state using the virus as an excuse for oppression? Well, maybe we should take a leaf from Trump's playbook, he won't let the pesky bureaucrats take over, he's got it covered: "In 2018, the Trump administration fired the government’s entire pandemic response chain of command, including the White House management infrastructure." https://foreignpolicy.com/2020/01/31/coronavirus-china-trump-united-states-public-health-emergency-response/
