Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

There's gonna be huge gap on the Bitcoin CME Futures chart (4H) when trading opens in 5 hours (23:00 UTC) Gaps tend to get filled *almost* every time. Plus 50-day MA and 200-day MA Golden Cross on Monday or Tuesday is telling me this correction will not last long. So far so good. Calling $10460 CME Futures on Thursday/Friday.

I thank my lucky stars every day that I have never been in that position. I'd probably end up killing myself. i sometimes cringe when thinking about how many coins at ~$100 USD i sold back in the day. but then i figure if folks like me we not actually using bitcoin what good is it? so, no regerts. well maybe a little tiny bit lol

Godl is trading above 1,600$/oz for the first time since march 2013: (Kitco News) - Gold prices are solidly up, hit a five-week high and are trading at session highs above $1,600.00 an ounce in late-morning action Tuesday. The yellow metal is catching a good safe-haven bid as the U.S. stock market is selling off and is at daily lows amid increasing concerns regarding the coronavirus outbreak significantly denting global economic growth. April gold was last up $19.40 at $1,605.90. https://www.kitco.com/news/2020-02-18/Gold-sharply-up-at-daily-highs-above-1-600-as-U-S-stock-market-sells-off.htmlJust remember it is not the Gold going up, is the USD going down. Like it it has been consinstently doing since 1930.

so, no regerts.
Fuckin' a dude. If nobody uses said commodity for its intended purpose, it is indeed no different from a Ponzi scheme. I can't help but think if there was more people with your mindset, Bitcoin would have arrived to a greater degree within the mainstream than it currently has. However, it is doing just fine, so hodlers HODL on, if you must.

How Bitcoin Optech Is Connecting the Open-Source and Corporate WorldsBitcoin Core and other open-source projects have, over the years, built a range of technologies to improve Bitcoin scaling and the general Bitcoin user experience. With examples including Segregated Witness (SegWit), Replace-By-Fee and the Lightning Network, Bitcoin users have a number of tools at their disposal to utilize the Bitcoin blockchain as best and efficiently as possible.
Yet, bigger companies in particular have historically been slow to adopt such tools. Segregated Witness is a prime example: Several of the largest Bitcoin businesses hadn’t adopted the upgrade for over a year after it was activated on the Bitcoin network in August 2017. The total share of SegWit transactions even remained below 50 percent until the second half of 2019. https://bitcoinmagazine.com/articles/how-bitcoin-optech-is-connecting-the-open-source-and-corporate-worldsBitcoin OptechBitcoin Optech helps Bitcoin users and businesses integrate scaling technologies.
We provide workshops, documentation, weekly newsletters, original research, case studies and announcements, analysis of Bitcoin software and services, and help facilitate improved relations between businesses and the open source community.
