OT: https://news.yahoo.com/five-police-officers-were-fired-192741747.html?ref=upstract.comI normally wouldn't post things like this here anymore, but I'm so fkn mad right now. The hypocrisy here is just... I have no words. I seem to recall an entire nation laid completely hostage one long summer (during the height of Covid, no less) due to mass riots, burning buildings, etc. over a certain person who died like this. Rioters took control of the entire city of Portland, OR for months and months. Well I guess they only mass riot, vandalize, and burn buildings when it is a bunch of white cops doing the killing instead of POC cops, huh? Funny how that works. Nary a peep of this on the major MSM news channels. Unbelievable. Doesn't fit their narrative! So you will never hear about this on MSM! it doesn't incite the type of hatred they are after...

.... I cant do that irl as I don't know any bitcoiners.
Until this day, you haven't converted a single nocoiner ? Really ?? ~snip I can understand. I talked to my friends, family and many colleagues about it - including several who came to me with questions. I managed to get one good friend to purchase a tiny amount of bitcoin (the value of dinner and a movie for two at the time) but he sold it all the second time bitcoin went over $1k. The only other person I know who bought some had nothing to do with my prodding; it was because his IPTV provider decided to accept only Bitcoin for payment. There was one other guy who was always interested and would ask me about it every time I saw him but I don't think he bought. It was always too expensive. I just ran into him a week ago and we chatted for a bit - I told him the bottom was likely in and this was a good time to start if he hadn't already - he smiled and gave me the thumbs up so maybe he's already started and just being tight-lipped about it? Okay, I'm just being hopeful... they're all still nocoiners

[...]
You have converted some nocoiners to coiners Gachapin? It's not easy.
[...]
It sure is not easy. Of all friends/colleagues/relatives I've tried to introduce to Bitcoin, about 80% completely ignored me. Most of the remaining 20% became shitcoiners and ended up in much less profit, or even in losses...

You can choose your friends but unfortunately not your family.
You mean if your grandpa and grandma are Russians but you were raised in school as ukronazi hating Russia? Dude Russia is going to win then wipe out 5-10 million more Ukraine 🇺🇦 people once they win. For what? making the worlds largest county larger and being called the worlds biggest villain. Its Putins wish to claw back every sq inch they lost back in the 80s. Actually Putin is one of many reasons I am glad all my kids are dead 💀 already. To all of you with kids and grand kids oh well.

This will be the fate of many countries with a financial system based on growth. Unlimited growth is not possible in a limited world. Populations will shrink and the public pension scheme (yeah, some countries have such things) will collapse. Some countries try to delay this system collapse with immigration, but this creates other problems. I suspect the climate change restrictions we will face are just an excuse for this population growth problem.

Democrats push to eliminate the debt ceiling, allow unlimited government borrowing.Dozens of House Democrats have proposed legislation that would eliminate the debt ceiling, which would allow the government to borrow without any limit set by Congress.
The federal government hit the $31.381 trillion debt ceiling last week, and House Republicans are pushing for commitments to cut back on the record growth in federal spending before agreeing to allow more borrowing. But Democrats accuse Republicans of setting up the possibility of prohibiting a debt ceiling hike, which would make the government unable to fund all of its current obligations.
Democrats say a better idea is to eliminate all limits on federal borrowing and allow the government to borrow whatever it needs.

I suspect the climate change restrictions we will face are just an excuse for this population growth problem. Well of course, I didn't want to post that reality as it is quite a sad one; but any empire that starts fussing about pronouns, promotes abortion, promotes drag queens in class rooms, promotes loathing of the majority race whilst making raising families near unaffordable/unmanageable is probably doomed.

The Dollar will crumble pretty soon. It's frankly astonishing that this is being accelerated by such moves. The question I guess is, is this intentionally stupid or just plain stupid?

When Democrats "push" for "something" it's 90% performative. Just something to excite the base, with no intention of actually making it into law.
