Momentum is building, I hope we don't have too harsh of a correction after this. Maybe if we push hard up to $800 there will be lots of people taking profits but this kind of steady rise is sustainable I'd say.

Exciting times. I never want to get too excited though as I have had my dreams crushed many many times in Bitcoin land. I'm sure there will be plenty more times.

But for now enjoy the moment.

Our battles are further down the road RJ, I'm expecting us to have to make a similar decision around the time of the next halving when the pressure to sell my coins may be too much to resist.

It's an easy decision to continue HODLING right now though obviously, this is nothing in the long run.

The biggest bullish indicator is that most people are still "meeeh" with this rise, expecting significantly higher rises to even get excited Cheesy

Same applies for me I guess. 1000+ would start doing something for my excitement levels. +50/-50, who* cares Tongue

* I guess leveraged traders do.

Big China is getting upset (and do front running)  since small Switzerland will outperform them soon with ATMs in every little village...

I thought adam got hacked & then couldn't be bothered to jump through all the hoops required to prove his account ownership.

yeah, well. he's right here now: https://bitco.in/forum/members/adamstgbit.918/

also, similar thing happened with cypherdoc and his "gold collapsing bitcoin up" thread, which he continued on https://bitco.in/forum/threads/gold-collapsing-bitcoin-up

It was when those "altcoins with bigger block sizes" got popular.

cypherdoc has since disappeared, btw (couple of months ago). (closed his twitter account and so on, nowhere to be seen).

Top o' the morning Bitcoinland.

I knew there was a reason I woke up so early today. I see our pleasant little rally is continuing...$733 USD, $981 CAD on Bitcoinaverage. Quadruple digits are getting so close I can almost taste it.

Here we are with a new month. October was very good. Let's hope November is even better.

Of course we'll have our little retracements along the way, but our recent pattern of a proper leg up every 3-4 days with a small retracement in between is just fine with me.

morerocketgifsplease

It's a little early for rocket GIFs isn't it? Let's get a new ATH first, okay?

Here, how about we just laugh at the bears instead.  Grin

I think Adam could get back into his account if he took the time to do it. Maybe if a few of us went over there and gave him a poke, he'd put up with the hassle.

Shroomsie? He was always good for a chuckle. How about Jaroslaw/Walsoraj? He was hilarious.

Even Proudhon was amusing and creative for a trollbear. Bears usually take themselves much too seriously. Haven't seen him around here for a while.  I guess he's waiting for a down trend.

Meanwhile to get back on topic, did anyone else see what just happened at Bitstamp?

Someone threw up an ask wall of about 500 coins which is a lot for stamp.

Someone countered with a 200 coin bid wall. Moments later the ask wall was eaten and the bid wall gone.

Same person? If it was a zero-fee Chinese exchange it would be understandable, but Bitstamp?
