If history is a guide, we are due some pain.

Except, Korea doesn't care. Every time we go down, they just increase the gap. They will lead us higher. When they are even or less than western exchanges, then we might have to worry.

[edited out]

Dude, i'm not a shill, just a noob miner. Just recently started mining in 2013 and still keep half the coins I mine in cold storage. My dumba$$ lifestyle does require fiat on a regular basis.

Where would bitcorn be without us dumbass miners to secure and process ?

Maybe the dumbass part is that you subsequently explain a context that makes more sense?  Initially, you made a description that suggested that there is some kind of decent and widely applicable practice that is good to be taking 50% of your profits in fiatNever said that. I said "I sell 50% of my earnings daily"... when the more accurate description seems to be that supposedly, if you are to be believed with your shifting storyline, you are earning income in bitcoin and thereafter you are attempting to invest (or HODL) 50% of the coins...

In other words, your initial post were misleading, if you are attempting to be descriptive about what you are doing... so maybe the dumb-ass part is that you seem to be engaging in purposeful shifting of your story and attempting to mislead?  Hopefully you can work on that.   Tongue Tongue

No shifting storyline, re-read the thread "I sell 50% of my earnings daily". Actually its more of a hobby, not my main source of income

EDIT: I'd rather be a dumbass like me than smart like you

Good point.  Perhaps I should be mapping the arbitrage gap to Korea instead.  But does Korea really lead or just follow at a higher price?

I don't know if they lead or lag but the gap seems to increase whenever we go lower. That seems to indicate they are willing pay an increasingly higher price. (real demand)

Family is what matters. I am the most important part of my family, and everyone is almost as important. Those brats fathered by someone else? Not family. The cheating whore who lied to me and tricked me into spending money and effort raising some bastard spawn? Negative fucking family. She deserves to suffer, and the other kids deserve their real father.

If you don't take care of yourself first (nobody else will) then you will not be of much use to the others for long.  Self first IS the long view.  Take responsibility for your own actions.  Set an example.
Would merit, but ran out. So QFT instead.

Keep in mind the kids come first.  Everyone else comes second.

That means that making the kids suffer because the mother slept around is the wrong answer.

I seriously doubt you have kids. and if so, I feel really sorry for them.

The average alt-right is an angry, unemployed, single white male.  So a bit hard for them to have polyamorous relationships when they are incapable of having any relationship.
"More than one-quarter of the total homeless population nationwide lives in California, roughly 114,000. "

https://www.nytimes.com/2017/12/21/us/california-today-states-homeless-population-drives-national-increase.html

State with roughly 50% more Democrats than Republicans. So your comment doesn't seem to hold under scrutiny.

You planning on being homeless in Fargo or San Diego?  Choose one.

You planning on backing up your prejudice statement with some kind of source?

One of the four was his biological child.  The other three children he had raised as his own from birth.

To turn his back on those children for something that was not the fault of those children, means he is a piece of shit.

No, it's the woman who put her children in that position that is a piece of shit.

What does the term “Women and children first [into the lifeboats]” mean to you? Because that’s what a real man does.

The problem with the alt-right is they have no chivalry and no honour. Roaches indeed.

Thought experiment. On his way up the dusty trail to retrieve his silver stash, roach encounters ibian asleep. Afraid he might try to steal his silver on the way back down, roach considers poisoning ibian's whisky. And according to the logic of self-interest, he does. Later, ibian shoots roach and robs him. Then he drinks some whisky and dies.

Had roach and ibian cared more about the welfare of others and less about themselves, they would still be alive today.

I think you might be projecting here.
A honest upstanding right winger would not even think of killing his fellow man. That's what leftists do. As they did in the Soviet Union, and still do in Cuba, Venezuela, China and north Korea.
(Not saying that Roach is a honest upstanding right winger, he's not).

To answer the earlier question, the biological father is a deadbeat in another country and irrelevant. The ex-wife takes reasonable care of the kids when they are in her custody and that’s all that really matters.  I don’t care for her other lifestyle choices but again irrelevant.

My buddy now has a new wife. And she has taken on the stepchildren as her own as well. Even though none of them are hers.  So all of you making a fuss about the kids not being biologically yours, do you think the stepmom should kick these kids out of the house ?  Yeah I thought not.
You didn't answer the question. However much of a scumbag the biological father is doesn't matter in this argument, which is about setting a dangerous precedent that poses a serious threat to society.

Your buddy also has no relevance to this argument. Whatever choices he freely makes is entirely up to him. Using his choices as a justification for legally forcing somebody to pay for children that are not his is ridiculous.

Cmon dude. Taking care of children is a serious threat to society? On a forum where most of us have earned more than the US average annual wage in the past week?  You are better than this.

Maybe worry about the alt-right muppets who go shoot up a school every second week.
It's lefties who go on shooting rampages. You are officially not even worth reading anymore.

The latest school shooter was a white supremacist. Like yourself. Own it.

Actually he wasn't, that turned out to be fake news by the leftist media. Besides, he's hispanic.

As I delve deeper into Rootstock I'll share some of that knowledge with you fine folks.

Rootstock is basically a one for one sidechain of the Bitcoin blockchain. To get RSK coins you send your bitcoins to a BTC address that then locks those coins and releases those coins on the RSK blockchain for you. There is a federation of nodes that handle this part right now. There is a Drivechain OP_CODE that Satoshi turned off at one point that RSK hopes to get turned back on so that they can handle the process partially with miners and partially with federated nodes.

Once you have RSK coins (I have heard them called Smart Bitcoins) you can use a smart contract just like on Ethereum.

One interesting thing, at least for what I am looking to do, is the federation is also creating what they call "oracles". It is a way for your smart contract to get real world information in a standardized way. For example they might share the BTC/USD price (based on some agreed upon criteria) so that all contracts that want to use that value will be on the same page. The oracles can be used or not. Each contract has to decide how much they trust the oracles.

They're working on a layer that will allow for 20k transactions per second.

It's currently being merge mined, the miners are paid by transaction fees (RSK.co gets their money from 20% of the miner fees).

The mainnet is online, in beta testing mode. Beta testing mode means they are white listing contracts that are vetted and participating in their bug testing. After a few months of this it will be opened up to everyone.

In my opinion the advantage is the oracle implementation which can help many of the currently centralized systems that exist become more decentralized until everyone is using a decentralized cryptocurrency. Plus you can keep your value in bitcoins instead of ethereums.

I'm not completely sold on it yet and am mainly looking at it specifically for my project. I did see that they would have a java implementation soon instead of solidity which is nice since I am a java programmer. Though solidity is pretty straightforward.

It's 08:43 now, I started reading this thread at 04:00 and it was entertaining.
But I don't mind a chart once in a while.
Do you know where I can find yearly bitcoin charts? I want to check a possible macro pattern. And also see if I remember some things correctly.

I only hate the leftists, everybody else, regardless of sex, sexual orientation, skin colour, or IQ I'm ok with.
I do have a strong dislike for anything dictatorial/non freedom though, but that very often coincides with leftist opinions.
