hurry up, last time to buy bitcoin above 8000

U mean sell?

Probably both.

Looks like the downtrend of 2018 continues.

The market is weird. Every time one guy sells, another one buys, and they both think they're smart.

Rosewater: You should know better than to listen to people and their opinions because you know what they say about peoples and their bottoms.
Last of the V8s: Be kind to alexa or it will turn on you and report your calls to the police.
It records all your calls you know. Roll Eyes

Ok, if we don't immediately pull up we will enter the top ranges of the Swamps of Anger.
82-8300 should hold. If we get a pump afterwards maybe the death cross can be avoided if we can stay at 10k.

If these Mt Gox guys are responsible for this insane crash lie they were in 2013 they ought to be sued for damages and locked up. Thats the regulation I support!

The bankruptcy makes Mt Gox immune to further civil damages. Now it is in the hands of the Bankruptcy court to liquidate the assets and distribute them. Karpeles trial is still pending. I suspect that he won't be getting much jail time if convicted. I suspect that all of the extra proceeds from the liquidation will end up in the nation of Japan's coffers after a huge fine is imposed.

Don't be so sure about that. There's a very good chance that the remaining Gox coins will be distributed to creditors.

What the creditors do at the time of distribution is up to each of them.

https://www.cnn.com/2018/03/26/us/noor-salman-pulse-trial-fbi-informant/index.html

So, it comes to light that the Pulse nightclub shooter's father had been an FBI informant for 11 years and is under criminal investigation.

How long will it take one of you blue pill eaters to respond and tell me that's all a complete coincidence? 3... 2... 1...

On what do you base this assertion?

While I admit I am no expert on Japanese bankruptcy law, and do not read the language, all the translated material I have read suggests exactly the opposite, that all claims will be settled in fiat.

While I admit I am no expert on Japanese bankruptcy law, and do not read the language, all the translated material I have read suggests exactly the opposite, that all claims will be settled in fiat.

A court appointed examiner has been reviewing the case with a view to bringing MtGox out of bankruptcy and into Civil Rehabilitation.

The results on whether Civil Rehabilitation will happen should be released some time soon, within about two months is pretty normal based on what I've read. That should be around May or before.

What we do know is that this examiner could have rejected a move to Civil Rehabilitation - this is happened before, however this time the Civil Rehabilitation was not rejected.

Apparently there is a good chance it will go ahead so long as certain conditions which are not public at the moment can be met. There are several law firms working towards this end right now.

I know this because I'm a member of one of the groups of creditors pushing for a move to Civil Rehabilitation as it's what our lawyers advised last October.

Either we get our coins back or we will drag this out for years with appeals all the way to the supreme court.

Edit : You're right about the bankruptcy law, this is why we needed to move the company to Civil Rehabilitation where the rules are different....

We're now on month three of higher lows and lower highs. Not much foot or head room to keep playing this game, two or three weeks tops before one or the other trend line breaks.

Anyone pay attention to ALFAquote's Fair Price Index? The market certainly doesn't seem to. Too bad something like this doesn't make it on MSM finance reporting, to help with price discovery, futures, sentiment, etc.

Are there other published indices like these? Stocks and equity markets have all kinds of economic indicators to guide fair value. Methinks this is sorely needed in the crypto world, too, and tying it to spot mining costs is probably about as good it can get.

How low is low enough for bulls to realize these are already bargain bin prices? For any remaining butt-hurt bears on the fence to finally GTFO and leave us to our rockets, trains and violins?

So. I was going to sell some of my stash this summer to pay of all my loans and then retire and live of my passive income that I have from my disability pension, some insurances that pays out monthly and some other stuff. That would give me a nice middle class life with no worries. And as a nice topping on the cake I would get to see the face of my employer when I tell him I quit. I'm one of only two guys who knows how to do that special job right now and he would be in a state of slight panic. He is also a real asshole, which is why that would have given me much rejoice.

But to my great disappointment he went belly up a month ago, so I have been without a job for a month now, and have to sell right now instead of in the summer. Bad timing but nothing I can do about it.
I just sold one fourth of my stash and when the money hits my bank account tomorrow I will immediately pay of all debts and bills. and then I will take a tour of nostalgia to places in my life, an actual tour through the city that is.
I will stop and reminisce on the places I have lived and the places I have worked and other significant places from my life, and then I will just go somewhere and have a cup of coffee and enjoy total freedom from work and debt.
I am now officially retired at 57 and it feels great.
Another of us who breaks out. Way to go, Arriemoller. Wherever you want!

Thank you d_eddie.

You watch the playground closely, as we know from your beautiful letters to Mom & Pop.
I appreciate your tentative timing. I would agree with it, but what do I know?

What I'd like to hear from you is: any hints or hunches as to which trend line seems easier to snap?
