What's with all of the hats?

It was a social engineering test to see how many mindless lemmings there were in thread.  Results were disappointing.

Some of the old faces are still here in bitcointalk, not necessarily this thread. I think Risto is living like a king in his Castle. He’s always on Monero thread.

I haven’t been here a lot recently but I pop back.

What's with this unusual influx of new users?

You mean the UISPBACTs? Unusual Influx of Sock Puppet Bear Accounts with Convenient Timing?

I don't think they exist.

Quote
No resistances till weekly SMA200 i see since price broke down historical log trend. Textbook ABC correction since ATH 2.28% in historical IV wave? Hmmm... So I assume this correction will take much longer than I expected (expected 1 year). Weekly SMA200 should be a perfect bullish entry point as candidate #1 of "THE BOTTOM".

Risto has been AWOL on the Monero thread too. He went crazy again, and basically lost everything, AFAIK.
From what I hear, Richie went crazy and ran to the bcash forum.

Niggaz be goin crazy up in hurrr. It's the WO curse.

Weekly MA 200 is at $3140 (BFX). Does not seem an illogical target for the bottom but I would first expect a small rally to $5,500-$5,700 (with double top RSI around 50 indicating the top for that upward correction).

I love these Bitcoin hit pieces that always come out at the bottom of the market:

https://www.cnbc.com/2018/11/21/why-you-may-want-to-leave-bitcoin-off-the-thanksgiving-dinner-table.html

It's like they want to make sure that any Average Joe that got even remotely interested in Bitcoin last year, throws that passing interest right in the garbage. They want him to feel complete shame for even *thinking* about buying Bitcoin right now (an actual good time to buy).

See ya at the top of the next ATH, n00b!

Infofront, are you really meriting Eliott Wavers?  It's impossible for them to be correct because so much market activity is simply long and short squeezes.  If they are counting on some random bullshit to happen at X count, but the entire market is on the same side of the trade and long or short there, then the market is going the exact opposite way.

It kind of falls back to the self fulfilling prophecy narrative that Eliott wave will work if every market maker on the planet uses that instead of something else (lol?).  But counts are also subjective on top of that, making it even worse.  Did I mention the inventor of Eliott wave died broke?

Happy Turkeyday everyone! weird it fell on a Thursday. stfu JJG!

I am actually in physical pain from working so much this last week.

BTMFD!

I can't! I lost a shitload the last few weeks gamblin. Smiley

My timing always sucks. Smiley

I also forgot to sell so there’s that.

Smiley

And if so .... we just gotta stay in our pants and keep on hodling we are all the way back down here so a few bucks lower ain’t no drama for the HODLERS mindset - hodlers goals......

^
I know your pain. Let the doctor prescribe you something with quetiapine - small dosage (25mg).

It really helps with those unpleasant things.

Makes a little sleepy, so better take it before sleep (if you sleep at all, I mean).

Been there done that. Smiley

Has everybody started buying AGAIN now?

I bought pretty much all of my coins in 2014 & am still HODLING most of them now. I decided to stop buying when we went back to $1000 after the Gox crash. Seeing that we reached $19,xxx last year though makes me think these are cheap coins atm.

I bought some the other day & am thinking about buying again today.

So who’s buying now or are you waiting to go lower still?

See first reply

10 !@@$%#@$ pages today already!
Only back 8 now.

Personally, I know traders who work with Waves really nice. You have to keep all the possible scenarios in your head.

Eliott wave has always bothered me because they pretend markets are practically deterministic in nature where an input from long ago automagically means something will happen in the future instead of markets being constantly changing, on the fly events.
