The Thais recently threatened the death penalty to people taking selfies in front of planes taking off.

You can also be jailed for disrespecting the king there by stomping on his face when your banknote is caught by the wind.
....

As far as I understand this scenario, its for tourist's own safety. The tourists do dumb things all the time just for some cheap excitement. The death penalty does sound extreme tho. On another hand, western media exaggerate the news quite a bit when it comes to Asian countries I am sure if you follow the local news there would be a different angle on the very same news. 90% that's a case.

Thai's royalties especially kings considered God there. people literally worship them and they have blind faith in them.

Happy Bengali New year bro. is this a "Choka" along with fish?

Yes, brother It very testy If you ever visit our country I'll feed you this food  Wink

Thanks, Dada, I have been to Dhaka once, I have a couple of friends who live in Cox Bazar. never visited there but would love to go there sometime. I have many Bihari and Bengali friends and as you know already "Choka" is go to dish for Biharis. I am Indian ( Kashmiri by birth)

@JSRAW

The view is better than the picture does it justice. There are better seats in the stadium but there are a lot worse. I pay approx £50 per game.

Yeah, tell me about that, have personally experienced bad seats in games Cheesy - seats behind the random pillar- lol

About @Elwar : This is bad news but I am sure he can get away with this situation with bribing tbh every system has some kind of loopholes. Just hope for the best.

HODLING in bull markets is for sissies.
HODLING in bear markets is for men.
HODLING in bear and dull markets increasing your HODLStash is for real men.

Poor Elwar  Cry  Such a shame.
I hope this won't smash the dream or hit him too hard financially.  Dude is a an inspiration and I tip my hat to him for perusing liberty & sovereignty.
Somehow I'm not surprised TPTB crashed the party so easily.  Guess you can't just step over the government no matter what loophole you exploit. Hoping he'll bounce from this and BTC will offer a much better opportunity soon.

Spar can be easily moved to new location. So yes ofcourse wee costs to set it in this place, but I am sure he will survive.

They accused Chad Andrew Elwartowski and his Thai wife, Supranee Thepdet, with an English alias of Nadia Summergirl, of breaching Section 119 of Criminal Code. The section concerns any acts that cause the country or parts of it to fall under the sovereignty of a foreign state or deterioration of the state's independence.

That part is a total bullshit. Whoever will try to prove this will have serious troubles.

Hello WO,
BTC is still over $5K (precisely $5,145). Good to see that. I hope it stay over this $5k level although there are some probabilities to be around $4.8k.

Pros are now slightly net negative, Institutions covered some losses, & Retail is alone on Bull Island

This data is always delayed, but, this alone gives the impression that we will either set a Bull trap on a HH or double top

This is less than an hour old.

 Statement from Chad Elwartowski:

PLEASE SHARE THIS POST OUR LIVES DEPEND ON IT

This is ridiculous. We lived on a floating house boat for a few weeks and now Thailand wants us killed.

We had to go underground because our contact warned us before this came out. Now we found out they are using a US submarine to hunt us. I'll say it right here.

Nadia and I did not design, construct or pay to have the seastead constructed. We promoted it and lived on it. We helped out by giving the builder updates and we participated in the launch. We did not decide where to put the seastead. We are enthusiastic supporters of the project who were lucky enough to be the first ones to stay on it.

Hunting us down to our death is just plain stupid and highlights exactly the reason someone would be willing to go out in middle of the ocean to get away from governments.

We never had any ill intentions and I even state plainly several times that I would not want to be a citizen of any seastead nation that would have me. We were hoping to bring tourism to Phuket with an underwater restaurant, floating hotels and medical research, tech jobs, etc. We had 3 wealthy entrepreneurs in the past week tell us they were coming to live in Phuket because they were excited about the project. We love Thailand. Nadia is a proud Thai. She is a proud Buddhist who does not support violence. I am a pacifist who would not harm a fly.

What we need:

Lawyers or anyone high up in the administration in Thailand to talk some sense into your military leaders.

Someone high up in the US that can help. I need to be able to go to the US embassy in Bangkok or some place near Phuket to get me out of the country. I need ideas for helping Nadia, a Thai citizen. She needs an embassy in Bangkok where she can seek asylum.

Nadia is just my girlfriend. She played no role in planning anything with the seastead. She just took video and stayed on the seastead with me. E-mail me at elwartowski@protonmail . com if you can help (not just suggestions...serious help).

Neither Nadia nor I are suicidal. We would never in our wildest dreams commit suicide. I want to live to the ripe age of at least 200. I love life. We love life together. We just wanted to be free. If just for one day.
Going to break etiquette and essentially bump my own post to the newest page.

Elwar is one of our own and I want to make sure people see his post and help if they can or at the very least know that he is for the moment being safe.

I don’t think the one bump per 24 hours thing is enforced in the WO thread mate so bump away Smiley

Yes I posted to fast before I read the rest of posts, but your last post made me confused.

If this is true then Thai army claims might be more true then what I thought so far.

Bitcoin Processed $7 Billion Worth of Transactions in the Past 24 Hours

https://www.trustnodes.com/2019/04/15/bitcoin-processed-7-billion-worth-of-transactions-in-the-past-24-hours

"Close to $7 billion worth of bitcoin has moved on-chain in the past 24 hours, with 1.3 million bitcoin exchanging hands or changing addresses.

More than a quarter of a billion dollars has been on the move every hour, with the average transaction value standing at $22,000, while the median is at $100.

Meaning about as many transactions were worth less than $100 as more.
...
What couldn’t fit on the screen is the 100 largest transactions. They moved about $850 million, or 165,000 bitcoin, just over 10% of the entire transfers.

This might suggest the majority of transactions are not exchanges or other large entities, but ordinary individuals using bitcoin in commerce, for international transfers, or to exchange value."

But Everything is slowly movement i thing bitcoin trying stable some range Ex: $4200 - $5700 range BTC up and down in middl.

I deleted this post to put Elwar message a little higher.
The victory of the community!!!  The money to protect Hodlonaut from Faketoshi's lawyers is raised.  And much more than necessary.

He's not even being sued yet, too soon, just gives publicity to that damn PR stunt. Now CSW can claim that due to feedback from cryptoverse and to be a nice guy he won't follow through with the suit. Kinda jumping through his hoops, he ends up getting publicity he craves without his idiotic lawsuit ever seeing the light of day. Maybe he isn't that dumb after all  Undecided

Am i the only one who actually wants to see him try to prove that he's Satoshi in court?

CSW is probably more afraid of trial with  Hodlonaut than a vampire is afraid of daylight. In the end, losing this case will expose CSW forever.

Craig claims that Bitcoin was not created to fix "the system", while Satoshi created Bitcoin as a reaction to the 2008 financial crisis.

His quote: "That's [debt and the debt crisis] not what Bitcoin helps with."

Every other time he opens his mouth he directly contradicts Satoshi.

Fellow Binancians,

At Binance, we periodically review each digital asset we list to ensure that it continues to meet the high level of standard we expect. When a coin or token no longer meets this standard, or the industry changes, we conduct a more in-depth review and potentially delist it. We believe this best protects all of our users.

When we conduct these reviews, we consider a variety of factors. Here are some that drive whether we decide to delist a digital asset:

Commitment of team to project
Level and quality of development activity
Network / smart contract stability
Level of public communication
Responsiveness to our periodic due diligence requests
Evidence of unethical / fraudulent conduct
Contribution to a healthy and sustainable crypto ecosystem
Based on our most recent reviews, we have decided to delist and cease trading on all trading pairs for the following coin on 2019/04/22 at 10:00 AM UTC:

Bitcoin SV (BCHSV)
Please note:

All trade orders will be automatically removed after trading ceases in each respective trading pair.
To view your assets after trading ceases, please ensure you have not selected “Hide small assets” in your Funds page.
Withdrawals of these coins and tokens from Binance will continue to be supported until 2019/07/22 at 10:00 AM UTC.
We thank you for your support as we continue to build the crypto ecosystem in a way that promotes transparency and long-term, sustainable growth.

Binance Team

Hopefully others will follow suit. I'm not for censorship of any kind, but thankfully CSW is always free to create his own exchange that his shitcoin can be traded on. Smiley
