I see this  as the prequel of what we are going to witness in the next years for hodling and supporting bitcoin.

Thai government lost its mind completely when they realized they can lose their wage slaves. If their slaves start a riot and leave the county they are fucked. They know it so they wanted to make an example of those poor guys.

This will happen to bitcoin too.

As much as I like the idea of bitcoin, a war between us and actual governments will fuck us up. So... don't hodl more than you could afford to lose I guess. I am already down deep very much. I am a bit scared to be honest.

Crypto Exchange Kraken Takes a Cue from Binance, Delists Bitcoin SV

Quote

Quote
By CCN: Add Jesse Powell to the chorus of crypto exchange CEOS who are done with Craig Wright’s games. San Francisco-based crypto exchange Kraken has announced that it will be delisting Bitcoin SV (BSV), following in the trend-setting footsteps of Binance and later ShapeShift.

Kraken has been engaging with its community about it ever since Binance CEO Changpeng “CZ” Zhao got the ball rolling earlier in the week. In an online poll, nearly three-quarters of Kraken’s followers voted in favor of delisting Bitcoin SV while more than one-fifth of tens of thousands of voters said they didn’t care. Kraken responded, revealing that the last day for trading Bitcoin SV would be May 1 while withdrawals will continue until May 15.

“The people have spoken. Kraken is delisting Bitcoin SV.”

I am going to buy Bitcoin-SV.

The guy is a fucktard who spends all his free time on yachts drunk with paid hookers. He's no different than a John McAfee.

except richer.

If that's the case, then that's nice (for us; sad for him), but I haven't been reading him that way. Admittedly, I only started paying him much attention recently.

pff..you can not tricks us.

+1 WOsMerit

OMG that's terrible. Hopefully they're able to get out of there safely.

yah..hope you guys are safe.

-------------

The shit show.

Dont know em..dont care too. That being said, I do appreciate that this is the speculation section so...here we go..some speculation.

I think Calvin is up in it to hes nut sack...at least.

Generally, gamblers are extremely calculating...its sort of the bread and butter of the whole concept.

I havent met to many rich stupid gamblers..if your stupid your fortune is quickly passed on to someone smarter. He has managed to acquire a $1.2 billion dollar bag and hang on to it. So we can assume that he is not stupid.

Swinging that kind of stick around changes people...I dont care who you are. A few people adjust..get over the power trip and go on to become better human beings. Most just continue on being the same good or bad person they where before acquiring said wealth. And a few more totally crack and become megalomaniacs bent on tamping down ruthlessly on any and all opposition.

I am not sure where on the spectrum he falls and perhaps that is unimportant but for the life of me cant believe its not conspiracy level at this point with Craig.

Craig runs into Dave. circa 2011-13
Dave has the poor taste of dying. circa 2013
Craig realizes that after Daves death arrangements had been made to lock the "stash" and starts to panic. circa 2013
Craig hatches plot to convince public that he is the real Satoshi and to acquire the "stash". circa 2013-2014
Craig convinces some schmuck with access to Calvin that he is Satoshi. circa 2013-2014.
Craig gets in to see Calvin..maybe convinces him maybe he dosent..Calvin however knows a cash grab when he see one and moves on in. circa 2015
Craig is forced to reveal more and more as the lawsuit and other details start to leak out. Calvin is like any good gambler, he knows when hes all in you gotta keep your bluff face on and hope for the best. circa 2015-2016
Meanwhile Calvin gets to build a 100 million dollar casino down in Antigua or where ever they are at basically for free with shitforkcoins and at everyone elses expense. circa 2017-2018
The implosion has begun with them both ended up eating a big ol shit sandwich. circa 2019-?

I have no idea if anything I just typed up there is true or not. Thats the best part about speculation right?

I do think if we flesh things out some and perhaps moving some of the puzzle around we might get pretty close. Anyone else care to take a swing?

I am almost sure at least someone here must know his fucking shit about video projectors.... Am I wrong?

I need a *BUDGET* long throw OUTDOORS projector (around 5+ meters to the wall) .... Any suggestions? I know you guys know.....

Not that much resolution needed, as the viewing point will be like 15-20 meters (the other end of the pool)  or more from the projected wall. It's brilliance and contrast what I need.

P.S.: Inb4 someone starts screming offtopic let's just say this is *wall observing* at its finest, you know.

Are you me?  I was pondering this today.

Hahhaa, then we need this to be resolved like already. What's your budget? Me, being the poor miserable fucker I am, plan to spend less than $200. I know it would be possible since I already saw the performance of a much older and cheaper (around $120 Excelvan brand) projector that was more or less satisfactory even if just barely. But I want MORE. More brilliance mostly. And I need it now, as I am already filling the pool.

I am afraid that I am letting the team down. I have the design on my counter and contract in my inbox.  Still about 3 - 4 months away from being able to fill it.

What are you projecting onto ?  Just white paint?

Yup. In fact it is yellowish paint right now but once you start projecting at night it isn't noticeable. And that was in a test with a cheaper/older projector of a friend. The experience was very nice, in fact I was surprised it even was viewable as I was expecting a total failure considering the poor pre-conditions. Of course you need night time darkness.

I will paint it white (regular paint as "special" projecting paints are like fuckin expensive) for more reflection and use a brighter projector. I think that will suffice to have a very decent experience for what I want (just see some movies outdoors and project videoclips/whatever).

As I can't place the projector less than 6 meter close to the wall I need a long throw unit... which coincidently are cheaper than short throw ones. Smiley

For the moment, I think this one could be a reasonable choice for a 200" "screen" projecting from 6 meters from the wall: https://www.amazon.com/PONER-SAUND-Presentations-Compatible-Chromecast/dp/B07DNPT1KH

If anyone here do know better, please say so... I need to start properly observing that wall asap! Tongue

What is it that you are designing/contracting?

P.S.: This one has Android, WIFI and bluetooth for a similar price: https://es.aliexpress.com/store/product/Poner-Saund-M5-LED-Projector-3D-Android-Projetor-4500-Lumens-Support-Full-HD-1080P-Projektor-HDMI/301676_32882495087.html?spm=a2g1y.12024536.productList_36113402.pic_0

... But I am starting to have some doubts about the real *ANSI* lumens equivalent of this unit.... That's the trickiest and most important part to determine the right choice for outdoors.

If anyone has some connection to Ayre through a friend-of-a-friend or something, I'd really like to know what's actually going through his mind.

Nobody can really know what is actually going through his mind. Every tycoon in the gambling industry is living with FBI's (or some other 3-letter agency) guillotine constantly hanging above his head. He has to do what he is told - give a million here or a million there, do this or do that, say this or say that.

Where were all these exchanges, who are now taking a stand against "bad actors", when Roger Ver was actively trying to defraud bitcoin investors with his bait and switch scam?

Exchanges were needed so we can sell the bcash shit for bitcoins!

Hi everyone!
If you are already tired of the omnipresent Coinmarketcap, then check out a selection of 3 sites that offer similar functionality and have their own features
Maybe someone will be interested to compare:

1. Cryptocompare (https://www.cryptocompare.com)
Features: A lot of useful information on the project. Interesting infographics on the trading of a specific token, as well as news, forum, timeline and data on social networks.

2. Coingecko (https://www.coingecko.com/ru)
Features: By selecting a specific cryptocurrency in addition to the standard schedule, the tabs "Social" and "Mining Calculator" will be available to you. Social - you can analyze the activity of the community in social networks. Mining calculator is understandable. Many coins appear here earlier than on Coinmarketcap.

3. Coincheckup (https://coincheckup.com)
Features: Maximum useful information for each project - prices, volumes, the simplest technical analysis with recommendations on the purchase of coins, information about the project, the team and upcoming events.

Bitcoin Bears Are “F**ked” If Trend Pans Out, Claims Crypto Analyst

Quote

Quote
According To Pattern, Bitcoin Might Have Bottomed

Take a look at the two images below. On the right is an excerpt from the “Encyclopedia of Chart Patterns” by Thomas Bulkowski, which shows something called a “bump-and-run reversal bottom,” or BARR bottom for short. On the left is Bitcoin (BTC)’s one-week chart stretching from last August to now. Notice anything?

Well, if you couldn’t tell, the pattern depicted on the right, which shows a series of higher lows, a massive sell-off on the back of monumental selling pressure, a zone of accumulation, an eventual bullish breakout past a declining trend line, and a subsequent rally is looking much like Bitcoin right now. In fact, save for a few discrepancies in the accumulation zone and the time span, the charts are effectively identical.

The two charts are so similar that the analyst who discovered this correlation wrote: “this means that bears are f**ked.” Biddles, as the trader is known, is referring to the fact that if the textbook-esque BARR bottom plays out for Bitcoin, BTC could return to $5,000 next week before entering an “uphill run” — a move that would catapult crypto assets back into a bull rally.

In subsequent tweets, Biddles continued to cite charts from Bulkowski’s technical analysis bible to explain that by many measures, BTC might be on the verge of a rally. He explained that Bitcoin’s one-day chart is currently exemplifying signs that BTC is trapped in an ascending triangle, which is a bullish pattern marked by higher highs, an overarching resistance, and slow price action. With volume declining, an act that is bullish per Bulkowski, Biddles confirmed that if Bitcoin closes above $5,320, BTC could be in for a rally to a higher region.

The State did go after Ayre publicly a little bit once, (maybe more?)

but then he claims to have sided with a somewhat smaller state, and seems to be defrauding them of their opportunity to matter in the bitcoin world
In August 2017, the government of Antigua and Barbuda appointed him a Special Economic Envoy with responsibility for advising on economic cooperation and commerce between Antigua and Barbuda and other sovereign states where blockchain technology is being utilized. Mr Ayre will also liaise with other companies in the Bitcoin industry and educate on the advantages of using Antigua as a base for some of their operations.

Ayre, who not only holds Antiguan citizenship but is also a major local employer, takes his diplomatic role seriously, and is a strong proponent of new technology’s capacity to assist developing economies in playing a greater role in international commerce. In particular, Ayre supports the original Bitcoin economic model which now only exists with the Bitcoin SV (BSV) public blockchain because its massive on-chain scaling can handle high volumes of micro-transactions with low transaction fees and its stable protocol is appealing to Enterprise applications.

Wright seems to have started writing editorial for Coingeek with this disingenuousness https://coingeek.com/bitcoin-beginners-blog/
and a week later is attacking @Beautyon_ for rubbishing Bitcoin Unlimited https://coingeek.com/rotten-to-the-core/
not long after he seizes on the $20,000 node thing proffered by twitter (https://twitter.com/bigstonebitcoin/status/853635298701451264)  https://coingeek.com/visa-much-expensive-capacity-challenged-bitcoin-oh-really/

@justicemate writes editorial for Coingeek under a byline, but didn't tow the party line on Wright's identity issues six months after those 3 articles with circuitous language here https://coingeek.com/credibility-and-plagiarism/ and plainer here
Unfortunately, Satoshi did not stick around to see his suggested upgrade take place. With his departure, there was a power vacuum, and the scaling roadmap was hijacked.

and he still seems conflicted (the 'Satoshi Nakamato' quoted below is a hyperlink to https://coingeek.com/dr-craig-wright-satoshi/ by some girl who "started her career covering crime news" and evidently hasn't moved on) even as he now contributes much less often
This is the Bitcoin that Satoshi Nakamoto created over a decade ago.

The problem with Bitcoin was however, wasn’t the system itself. When Satoshi left the project, its development was no longer protected. What should have been a stable protocol, became a hijacked protocol.

I opine that we may yet see Wright bamboozle a British-establishment judge for a while (not that hard a feat), but when the drama is over, Ayre can also profess bamboozlement and drop him like one of his tarts reaching her majority, the analogy including that he knows that day is coming.
The 'price' of BTC will react to milestones in Wright's court cases by going down if we're in a bear trend and up if we're in a bull.
The BTC protocol will remain unaffected by any of it.

Unpopular opinion: Delisting coins is satisfying short term, but ultimately bad. It's giving the perception that exchanges are king-makers or legitimatizers. They are not.

https://twitter.com/jimmysong/status/1118339139970248704?s=21

Will there follow more coins to be delisted? So many shady sh*tcoins ....
