I usually don't post any bearish indicator in this thread because that makes most of you unhappy but... this *still* looks like a very clear rising wedge with decreasing volume:

We might see a nice jump to ~$5500 before falling back to ~$4700.

you are right, I don't like bearish indicators. This wedge deserves a wedgy for not being bullish.  Grin

Hal Finney and his wife Fran.

Today in a web of Spanish language they publish an article by Hal Finney.
Whenever I find something of Hal Finney I like to read it.

But in this article there is a fact that I did not know:

"His body was cryogenized and preserved in the Alcor Life Extension Foundation."

I hope science advances.

I leave the link if you want to translate and read the article:

Good morning folks

Stagnant price and volume has bitcoin trading along a narrowing channel again. Consolidation is likely to continue until after tax day is over in the USA. Simply put, I recommend accumulating as much bitcoin as possible this year. #dyor

Well, I read a lot about Hal Finney and I do not remember seeing him before.
In any case, it seems very good, we do not know what awaits us from science in the future.

Hello Wall Observers. Good to see Bitcoin over $5k and finally we left behind the $3.8k to $3.9k resistance.

In the aftermath of last year’s bear market, which saw #Bitcoin $btc price plummet from a near $20,000 all-time high to $3,200 in December, Bitcoin markets are now starting to set record volumes.

How to scale Bitcoin (without changing a thing)
Why Bitcoin banks need to prove their solvency

Quote
Hal’s vision
In 2010, digital cash pioneer Hal Finney famously made the case for what could be called the institutional approach to scaling Bitcoin.

Actually there is a very good reason for Bitcoin-backed banks to exist, issuing their own digital cash currency, redeemable for bitcoins. Bitcoin itself cannot scale to have every single financial transaction in the world be broadcast to everyone and included in the block chain. There needs to be a secondary level of payment systems which is lighter weight and more efficient. Likewise, the time needed for Bitcoin transactions to finalize will be impractical for medium to large value purchases.
Bitcoin backed banks will solve these problems. They can work like banks did before nationalization of currency. Different banks can have different policies, some more aggressive, some more conservative. Some would be fractional reserve while others may be 100% Bitcoin backed. Interest rates may vary. Cash from some banks may trade at a discount to that from others.

As the title of the article says, How to scale Bitcoin?

There are some proposals by Hal Finney about it.

But still like the reasoning of it Smiley

What if I'm looking to eliminate the maximum amount of people, because this planet is being raped of its resources ? Are you saying I should keep my original position, and not flip the switch ? Or should I flip the switch, which will lead to my goal of eliminating the most number of people Huh

I saw a video where the father recreated the problem with toys for his son. The kid only hesitated for a second, then moved one little guy next to other five, and rammed the toy train over all six. Makes sense. Smiley

I actually think there is a good chance we will briefly see the high $2Ks in a final wave 5 shakeout.

$3,999.99 would be valid still. Possible...maybe likely perhaps, but I am tired of doom and gloom so I voted no.   Tongue   deal with it

the Wall has two honest centurions left..thats something at least.   Cheesy
