Blockchains incentivize our species to spread far apart, so that great distances may intervene, casting their hash horizons over colonial outposts like dark wings, protecting new, fledgling coins.

If this hypothesis is true, it means that bitcoin is more than merely new money.  It is a new driver in the expansion of civilization and will play a bigger role in the future story of humanity than any of us now realize.

VanEck, SolidX Withdraw Bitcoin ETF Proposal From SEC Review

Tuesday’s filing marks the second time VanEck and SolidX withdrew the proposed ETF. The companies withdrew the same ETF proposal in January, after a prolonged government shutdown threatened to force a rejection.

The SEC is still reviewing two other bitcoin ETF proposals. One, filed by Wilshire Phoenix, would include both bitcoin and U.S. Treasury bonds in the Trust, and faces an initial deadline at the end of September, while the other, filed by Bitwise Asset Management with NYSE Arca, will be approved or rejected on Oct. 13.

Observing 10,227 honey badger doesn’t care.

They probably withdrew the application because they say another reject coming.
I expect other pursuant doing the same on the next weeks.

Imho institutional money is badly needed to get bitcoin where it is meant to, think about PlanB SF model. In case of disappointment of this model to realise the loss of positive momentum could be very heavy, resulting in a very long cryptowinter II.

Meh, the price used to dump fairly significantly after news like this. These days it doesn’t even blink. Would he really good to finally get one approved though. I wonder if we’ll see one in the next 3-4 years?
